Ling Yin decisively kept silent, oh that feeling of being cared for and protected by your wife!
After leaving the hospital, Mao Mao was neglected and tossed into the back seat, while Hua Hua placed two thick cushions on the passenger seat, sitting down comfortably. Ling Yin increasingly felt that a man with a wife is truly lucky.
Driving the car, Hua Hua asked, "Are we eating at ho, or outside? How about ordering takeout?"
Although Hua Hua was confident in his cooking skills, he hadn’t practiced for many years and dared not embarrass himself. Now, he was only back to the skill of cooking porridge.
Ling Yin squinted slightly: "Let’s go to the supermarket. I’ll make your favorite steak tonight."
"I don’t like eating steak made by a sick person at all." Hua Hua added, "It’s definitely super awful."
Ling Yin thought for a mont: "Then let’s eat out. I’ll take you to have paella, at a very famous place here."
"Don’t you need to lie down at ho?"
Ling Yin laughed, reached out to rub his hair: "It’s really just a mild cold, not exaggerated to the point where I have to lie in bed."
Hua Hua’s nose tinged with sourness: "Look at your nose, it’s so red and congested, is this a mild cold?"
"It’s just a runny nose, no other discomfort."
"And you keep sneezing." Hua Hua rcilessly exposed his lie.
"That’s because you’ve been thinking about all day." Ling Yin spoke narcissistically, feeling no burden.
Hua Hua pouted, feeling sweet inside, yet huffed: "Don’t play word gas with , the doctor said you have acute respiratory inflammation!"
"Isn’t that proof you miss ?" Obviously, every ti he sneezed, he comforted himself this way, and it sohow worked wonders, making him feel all sweet inside.
Hua Hua pursed his lips: "I never thought about you!" Then hastily added: "Oh, by the way, I haven’t told you, I resolved old mom’s outdated thinking in no ti, now she’s completely okay with having a boyfriend."
"That’s really great." Ling Yin had always worried about not being liked by his future mother-in-law, fearing he might provoke her into a relapse, becoming a sinner of the ages.
"But that’s not the point." Hua Hua proudly flipped his hair: "As long as you can get past , if you don’t listen to , I’ll imdiately say bye to you. Like tomorrow, you must take a day off and submit a leave request."
Ling Yin was both amused and annoyed: "Tomorrow is already the weekend."
"Oh? Oops!" Hua Hua was montarily speechless, then calmly continued driving, avoiding any comnts that might lower his IQ.
"Achoo! Achoo!"
Hua Hua frowned; colds are really annoying, why trouble my beloved spouse?
As the car drove to the intersection, Ling Yin guided directions while wiping his nose with a tissue, feeling so pitiful yet so endearing.
"Brother Ling, how many years did you live in Spain?"
"Over a decade, can’t quite rember." Ling Yin thought carefully, "Seems like twelve years, ti flies, suddenly I’ve been living here for so many years."
"Then before that, during the years we were apart, where were you?" The car ride was boring, so Hua Hua couldn’t resist asking more about Ling Yin, wanting to know more, naturally.
"When we were apart, I started studying in the orphanage, then continued studying after Tian Jun took away. Those years were hard, it took six years in total to progress from elentary, middle, and high school all the way to getting a master’s degree in managent at Harvard."
