Hua Hua looked startled: "You made a midnight snack?"
"Of course it’s for you. I noticed you didn’t eat much outside. Aren’t you hungry now? I made so food and squeezed so juice. Do you want to drink it?" Ling Yin saw Hua Hua’s anger seed to dissipate a bit, so he quickly seized the opportunity to flatter him.
Hua Hua scoffed, thinking, is this really the case?
His actions just now clearly showed displeasure and anger towards himself, and he planned to sleep separately!
I waited in the bedroom for ages without seeing any intention of Ling Yin coming back. The more I thought about it, the more irritated I felt. Could it be I’m overthinking this?
Ling Yin completely understood the reason for Hua Hua’s anger. He hugged Hua Hua and kissed him repeatedly: "Hua Hua, why would you think of like that? If I wanted to find soone to vent, I wouldn’t be fixated on you. Think about it, if I wanted to find soone to vent to, could I not?"
Hua Hua scoffed narcissistically: "Maybe because I’m the most beautiful creature under the sky, you have high standards and don’t settle for just anyone."
But he also thought that maybe he was really overthinking things, being a bit unreasonable.
The grievance in his heart slowly ward up, Hua Hua stopped struggling, looked at Ling Yin, and thought: "Anyway, I definitely don’t want to be seen as just a receptacle."
Ling Yin nodded: "Certainly didn’t see you that way, you misunderstood, Hua Hua."
"Hmph!" Hua Hua stomped on him proudly, breaking free from his embrace.
Ling Yin thought he still wanted to leave, so he went to hug him again and pleaded innocently: "Don’t go, Hua Hua."
"Who said I want to leave? I’m just out here for so fresh air." Hua Hua softened his tone, looking at the two smoking cars, glaring at him: "Look at you, chasing after like a madman. Did you know we almost got into a car accident just now? It’s fine if you’re reckless with your life, but don’t take mine along with you. My life is so valuable, you couldn’t afford to pay for it!"
Ling Yin reflected on this and nodded, "I was impulsive just now. Are you hurt?"
At that mont, he was frantic, just focusing on stopping Hua Hua, fearing he would leave. Indeed, his actions were reckless. He looked Hua Hua up and down, secretly relieved that he wasn’t hurt.
"I was almost disfigured!" Hua Hua said with exaggeration.
Ling Yin stared at his face, seeing there was no wound, but worried Hua Hua might be injured inside, asked urgently: "Which part of your face is hurt? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
"Didn’t you hear say it was ’almost’?"
"Where exactly are you hurt?"
Seeing Ling Yin’s anxious expression, Hua Hua couldn’t help but laugh. He raised his fist and heavily punched Ling Yin’s chest: "Dummy. ’Almost’ ans I’m fine. If I really got disfigured, I’d definitely kill you first thing. Are you alright?"
Ling Yin completely relaxed: "I’m fine."
"Don’t be such an idiot again. Car accidents aren’t a joke." Hua Hua felt he must teach him two things.
But Ling Yin said: "Unless you don’t run."
"And if I do run?"
Ling Yin replied without hesitation: "Then I must catch up to you and stop you. I won’t allow you to leave."
"Hmph, are you a domineering CEO or sothing?" Hua Hua raised an eyebrow: "I’m not a stubborn little wife to a domineering CEO."
"What’s a domineering CEO?" Ling Yin asked, confused.
Hua Hua stomped on him heavily again: "It’s from a novel!"
He’s so dumb!
No common language at all!
Hua Hua’s mood improved as he walked to his car, got inside, and tried to start it, but it wouldn’t start - the car was broken and couldn’t be driven.
He tried starting Ling Yin’s car too, but it wouldn’t start either.
Hua Hua got out of the car gloomily and kicked it: "Are you satisfied now? Both cars are broken. How are we going to get back? Aren’t you the one who said you made a midnight snack for ?"
