Ling Yin had no choice but to coax, with a hint of mild threat. Hua Hua thought if his situation was severe enough to be taken to the hospital, wouldn’t the whole world know that he was hurt and sent there? Wouldn’t that be utterly embarrassing?
There has never been a wall that doesn’t let the wind through.
In this circle, being so hurt that you end up in the hospital isn’t uncommon. Every ti Hua Hua heard others talk about it as a joke, he always felt those people completely lost face. If it ever happened to him—there’s no way he’d go to the hospital, even if it kills him!
After much deliberation, he finally compromised and nodded, agreeing to let him take a look.
After all, he was sure he was injured; his backside still hurt like hell.
Thankfully, it wasn’t too serious. Ling Yin managed to treat his wounds himself, inserting an anti-inflammatory suppository.
Hua Hua lay on the bed, head against the pillow, gripping the sheets tightly with both hands, closed his eyes, and pressed his lips firmly together in self-comfort.
Ling Yin had to admit: "My technique is really terrible."
Hua Hua ignored him, gritting his teeth, and vowed: "I’m definitely going to top you at least once. Although I don’t like topping you at all, pick a ti for yourself to get ready."
Ling Yin felt his hair stand on end, but didn’t respond, and after treating the wound, carried him to the bath.
When both of them were clean and lying in bed, it was already close to two-thirty in the morning. Hua Hua fell asleep in Ling Yin’s arms, and even as he slept, a tear or two would occasionally slip out.
The next day Ling Yin took a day off work. He really couldn’t bring himself to leave Hua Hua at ho alone, especially since they had just been intimate the night before. They slept almost till noon, when Ling Yin decided to take him out for so fun.
Sadly, Hua Hua didn’t have any energy.
In the afternoon, he had an exclusive interview lined up, as part of further promotion for the opening of a new shop.
Hua Hua really didn’t want to get out of bed, but he was extrely worried about others noticing anything amiss. So, he grood himself into the image of a super fashionable man and went to a casual seaside café for the interview.
Ling Yin accompanied him the whole ti, watching him chat and laugh, his deanor relaxed, his every move impeccable. When answering the reporter’s questions, he was orderly and composed. Facing the cara, his smile was dazzling, and Ling Yin thought Hua Hua must be fine by now.
Little did he know, as soon as the interview was over and Hua Hua got back into the car, he imdiately slumped across the back seat, burying his head deeply and furrowing his brows.
"Hua Hua."
"Don’t call ." Hua Hua turned his head to hide his face.
Ling Yin drove the car to a secluded area, got into the back seat, turned Hua Hua’s face towards him, and imdiately drew back his hand when he touched it: "You have a fever?"
It was burning hot.
Hua Hua looked up with his beautiful, almond-shaped eyes, wishing he could bore a hole through Ling Yin with his gaze.
During the interview, while sitting there, he didn’t dare to move a muscle; any movent was agonizing. Even without moving, sitting was extrely uncomfortable, and he almost lost his composure throughout the interview.
"Let’s go to the hospital."
Hua Hua imdiately held onto his waist and refused, glaring at him grudgingly: "I must have an infection. Just give so fever dicine, I don’t want to go to the hospital, I won’t go even if you force ."
Ling Yin was deeply worried, his brows furrowed: "Baby, I’ll get a family doctor to co to see you, no need to go to the hospital, how about that?"
"No, I don’t want a third person to know." Hua Hua was exceptionally conscious about his image, so much that he wouldn’t mind dying for his pride.
