At this mont, at the Gu Family ho, Wang Fengtong stood in front of the mirror and asked her daughter, "Chenxing, how do you think my spirits are today?"

It’s not that she was overly accepting of Ling Yin, but if Hua Hua truly didn’t choose a girl and was picking among the n, she thought Ling Yin was quite nice. Such a filial and polite child with a strong sense of responsibility. Plus, she knew Ling Yin’s parents well—they had a good relationship back in the day, though sadly, they passed away early, leaving just that child. She considered him half a son.
Wang Fengtong peeked outside a couple more tis and nudged Chenxing. "Chenxing, go see if they’ve arrived."
Just then, they saw two figures at the door—Ling Yin and Hua Hua walked in hand in hand, with Ling Yin carrying several gift boxes.
In the living room, Wang Fengtong tried her best to present a kind smile.
"Hello, Auntie," Ling Yin said, holding the gift boxes upon entering.
"How can you still call Auntie? You should be calling Mom now."

Ling Yin, noticing this, imdiately corrected, "Mom!"
Hua Hua: "..."
Hua Hua quickly responded, "What are you calling her? Mom, Ling Yin and I aren’t at that stage yet."
"The wedding is already set, aren’t you going to change what you call ?" "The tea is on the table," Wang Fengtong pointed to the table.
Hua Hua felt quite neglected, helplessly looked at his mom, then glanced at Ling Yin, finally sat in front of Chenxing and said, "You really talked up too much, huh?"
Chenxing muttered quietly, "I didn’t say anything."
"Mom, I’m sorry," Ling Yin said, "I should have been honest with you earlier, I just wasn’t ready, so I didn’t let Hua Hua ntion it to you. You’re not angry, are you?"
Wang Fengtong feigned a huff, "You two have kept in the dark, you deserve a scolding."
"Yes, yes, Mom." Ling Yin called her Mom so smoothly and even gave Hua Hua a little wink, feeling quite smug...
