Hua Hua sat on the plane, unable to stop fantasizing about having a child. He turned his head to look at Ling Yin, carefully sketching Ling Yin’s face, with a miniature version of Ling Yin appearing in his mind.
Hua Hua slightly tilted his head and then started to secretly laugh to himself. He laughed for quite a while before putting away his smile and turned his head to look at Ling Yin.
"Brother Ling, do you think the child will be a boy or a girl?"
Ling Yin smiled and patted his head: "How could I guess that? Just let it be."
As they say, man proposes, God disposes; whether it’s a boy or a girl, he would love them both.
"Then do you think my child will be a boy, or will it be your child that’s a boy?" Hua Hua’s imagination ran wild, he couldn’t stop it. Nurous faces flashed through his mind, and he was particularly curious about what his child would look like.
It was truly amazing; with just a small tadpole, in ten months you could have a beautiful baby. He almost wished he could plant ten or eight of them. The more children, the rrier, and he felt he could afford to raise them.
"What do you an my child, your child? How can you divide it like that? In my eyes, they’re all our children."
Hua Hua smirked: "Then after the child is born, should they call you dad or dad?"
This was sothing Ling Yin had never thought about. With a shared topic, they joyfully imagined the future around the child. Sotis they thought Hua Hua should be called mom, and Ling Yin dad; other tis, they thought Ling Yin should be called mom, and Hua Hua dad... In the end, they both shook their heads, deciding both should be called dad. They’re not won; calling them mom would confuse the child.
So Ling Yin said: "We’re both dads. When the child grows up, they’ll naturally understand our family’s unique situation."
"But what if the child wants a mom when they’re young? When they go to class with other kids, and everyone else has a mom while they don’t, won’t they be discriminated against?" Hua Hua pondered deeply, determined that his child must not be discriminated against.
"Then we’ll just find the child a few godmothers." Ling Yin suggested.
Hua Hua thought it was feasible. As long as they had the word ’mom,’ it was enough. He had so many little sidekicks as backups, what was there to fear in finding godmothers?
"So is it you who’s having a girl, or who’s having a girl?"
Ling Yin was almost rendered speechless by his questions. He gently tapped Hua Hua’s forehead and said: "We can’t give birth, rember?"
"Stop dodging the question; you know what I an." Hua Hua changed his position, reclined the chair back, comfortably lying there, fastening his seatbelt as the plane had already taken off, slowly flying among the white clouds and blue skies.
"If you give birth to a girl, it would be great. It’d be even better if she looks like you. That way I could see the female version of you." Ling Yin sotis had strange tastes, wanting Hua Hua to wear won’s clothes, but it never worked out. Hua Hua refused to wear them at all costs.
If they were to have a daughter in the future, he might be able to fulfill a long-held wish in a roundabout way.
Hua Hua raised his orchid fingers: "If I give birth to a girl, my daughter would surely be stunningly beautiful. Who could be worthy of her in the future?"
"Does a man have to focus so much on looks? As long as they have strong capabilities." Ling Yin said.
Hua Hua huffed: "Who says looks aren’t important? How could you ensure the next generation looks better without valuing appearance? I strictly refuse to let soone not good-looking marry my daughter. What if it affects the genes?"
