When did this girl start going to such bars drinking? She just finished high school this year, and she rembered her aunt being very strict with her.
The children of the Gu Family have always been strictly controlled, especially the daughters; they are not allowed to wander around outside casually. The family rules are tight!
"teor Bar. Welco, our beautiful Qianqian, to grace us with your presence! I’ve been waiting for you!" Gu Yuyan was becoming more and more confused.
Gu Yuyan was really going crazy. After finally graduating from high school, she mustered up the courage to confess to a boy she liked, but he didn’t appreciate it. Now she was feeling rather heartbroken and just wanted to go crazy in a bar, but she didn’t have much money, so she had to ask her cousin for help.
"Wait for , don’t wander around." Qianqian hung up the phone, pulled out her keys, fearing that Gu Yuyan would get into trouble. In Qianqian’s eyes, Gu Yuyan was one of the cousins in the family she liked more.
The bar was filled with dazzling lights and reckless revelry.
Qianqian carefully maneuvered around one human obstacle after another, searching for Gu Yuyan’s figure in the dim lighting.
Suddenly, she shuddered as a foul sll of cheap beer hit her nose. A disgusting, scarred, pot-bellied middle-aged man, sucking on a cigarette, blew smoke towards her. He placed his hand on Qianqian’s shoulder, speaking in a voice that made her nauseous: "Hey, beautiful, have a drink with !"
"Get your filthy hand off!" Qianqian glared at him with no courtesy, full of the temper of a spoiled young lady, pushing away his disgusting hand with disdain.
"Oh, so angry! Haha, co, have a drink with ." The man laughed slyly, trying to force her to drink.
"Don’t make say it a second ti!" Qianqian said with disgust.
He still showed no intention of stopping, continuing to pester: "Have this drink, and I’ll let go. Co, let’s toast."
"I’ll drink with you!" A voice, clearly suppressing anger, ca from behind. Qianqian quickly turned around to see an unfamiliar face. Gu Qianqian raised an eyebrow, standing there with her arms crossed, not making a move.
The middle-aged man glanced at him, ignored him, and continued to drink.
The man was about six feet two, dressed in a black jacket, dark blue jeans, and worn leather shoes. The lights were too dim for her to see his face, guessing he was about twenty-eight or nine years old. Though unfamiliar, there was a feeling of déjà vu; a warm sensation continuously transmitted from his eyes as he looked at her. Qianqian felt her heart suddenly filled, very safe, very satisfied. How was it that she was so enchanted by those eyes, completely captivated? This feeling was unprecedented, yet it seed as if a long ti ago she had experienced sothing similar.
He stepped forward, pried apart the hand placed on her back, gently pulling her aside, then sat down to have a drink.
He suddenly stood up and wrapped his arm around Qianqian. Gu Qianqian raised an eyebrow in secret, amused inside. Just another man in a bar trying to flirt, she thought, despite having a montary good impression earlier.
"I told you to stay put, why are you running around!" Unexpectedly, the man looked at her with a smiling expression, speaking inexplicably.
His tone was gentle and his voice low, yet clear enough for the nearby man to hear.
"I like running around, so what?" She didn’t appreciate it, knowing he was just making an excuse to help her out.
