The man looked at her, remained silent for a mont, then smiled unexpectedly and said, "Because we will et again soon."
His words were unusually ambiguous, and Gu Qianqian did not understand what he ant. She snorted, took out her phone, and dialed her cousin’s number. It was not her cousin who answered, but her aunt. Gu Qianqian chatted casually for a few sentences and hung up, the man still stood in front of her, not leaving.

Chao Lu nodded to the butler, already seated back in his chair: "You’re welco."
The butler withdrew, and placed several guards nearby.
Gu Shaocheng sized him up for a full half hour, during which Chao Lu showed no signs of impatience, leisurely sipping his tea, seemingly fascinated by each chair and table in the reception room, examining any object for long periods until Gu Shaocheng entered, then he withdrew his gaze, and returned to the guest seat.
"Looking for ?" Gu Shaocheng, with his usual regal deanor, sat down as a maid served tea.
Chao Lu hesitated slightly, stood up, and handed over an object he was holding.
Then his words created a huge ripple in the reception room: "Mr. Gu, the five-year term has arrived, I’ve co to receive your young master."
Upon hearing this, Gu Shaocheng’s expression darkened, his gaze changing sharply, like a knife with exposed edges. He didn’t even glance at the item handed by the maid, and no action followed.
Sheng Sheng was tired from practicing calligraphy in the small study, carrying his work to show his daddy, but found that his daddy was not there. Upon asking the guard at the study door, he learned that his daddy was in the reception room, and the little guy headed to the reception room eagerly.
He took the side door, stopped upon seeing people in the reception room, and stood behind the screen.
"Mr. Gu, the agreent you made with the Skull Society five years ago should be clear to you. Now, with less than two months left until the five-year term, I’ve co to claim your young master. If the investigation is correct, your mansion has two young masters, which one would you prefer to send with us?"
