Driver: "Sir, where are we going now?"
Gu Shaocheng looked at the restless woman in his arms and sighed, "Let’s go to the airport, and head back to City E and take it from there." She was so resistant, possibly unwilling to et her own biological mother.
"Can you just disappear from my world? Why do you keep bothering ? Why do you treat this way? Why did you concoct such a huge lie to deceive ? Is it fun? Is it, fun, to you?"
Chenxing yelled these words while desperately trying to push open the locked car door. She was full of rage since no matter how hard she pushed, the door wouldn’t budge!
"Let out, Gu Shaocheng, let out!"
She didn’t want to be with him because it felt as though an invisible hand was erasing the love her parents had for her. She didn’t want to accept such a reality; she just wanted to be as far away from him as possible.
That way, she could pretend that nothing really happened;
That way, she could pretend she knew nothing about it;
That way, she could numb herself, otherwise her heart ached so bad, it was as if she were dead.
Along with her shouting, paper tissues were abruptly wiped against her mouth. Gu Shaocheng frowned, hiding a trace of guilt not known to others, "Let you out, how are you going to get back to City E? With such bumpy long distance bus rides, you’ll faint after three hours. Isn’t that discomforting, your own vomiting?"
He slightly restrained his emotions, also heavily weighed down. He handed her several tissues to wipe her mouth, tousled his hair with frustration, and sighed slightly, "You still hate , don’t you?"
"Even if you hate , don’t joke with your own health! You can vent your anger on . If you can’t forgive , seek revenge on , I’ll let you!"
Gu Shaocheng took a gun out of his pocket and forcefully placed it in her hands, "If you want revenge, you can have it now! Shoot now to bring justice for your adopted parents! I was the one who ordered their killings. I, Gu Shaocheng, never regret anything I do. If I had the chance to do it over again, I would still send your adopted father to hell, because I want to avenge your biological father!"
"You think I don’t dare to kill you? You destroyed my happy ho. Do you really think I don’t dare to kill you?" Chenxing held the gun excitedly, her emotions ran high. The demons in her heart were shouting at her to pull the trigger, to avenge her father and mother, but -
As if suffering a split personality, she saw herself pointing the gun at his heart again. This scared her as if it was a hot potato. She hurriedly threw the gun away and let out a scream. Her heart had never been so torn before!
She hated guns! Hated bloodshed! Hated everything that was dark!
Chenxing raised her hands, covered her face, and turned her head. She didn’t want to shed tears of helplessness in front of him, but she just couldn’t stop crying. She gritted her teeth, and not only turned her head, but also her body.
She had no idea who was right and who was wrong. She just wanted to find a place to hide herself. It seed to her that as long as she didn’t see him, she could convince herself that everything was a lie.
Was it wrong for her to not want to accept this reality?
Why did he have to appear in front of her? All she wanted was to run away subconsciously. Her heart was in a ss, she didn’t know how to discern right from wrong, and even less wanted to judge the rights and wrongs...
