Even with Hua Hua trying her best to steal the spotlight, the attention on Chenxing did not reduce in the slightest. It wasn’t because of her extraordinary beauty, but because she was standing by Gu Shaocheng’s side.
This alone was enough to make her the center of attention, the female lead that everyone looked upon.

A forty-year-old man, walking steadily with the aid of a cane, was approaching. Despite his age, he still appeared to be in his thirties due to his ticulous grooming.
Gu Buyu wore a smile as he approached, his gaze sizing up Gu Shaocheng. He patted Gu Shaocheng’s shoulder, creating an image of a familiar uncle-nephew relationship. "I heard you had a bit of an accident and I was very concerned about you. It seems that rumors cannot be trusted, Let’s go over there..."
Gu Shaocheng slightly frowned, making an effort not to stumble. Gu Qianqian imdiately ca over from behind to present a gift: "Uncle, this is a birthday gift from your niece. I wish you good health and a prosperous career."
Gu Buyu looked at Gu Qianqian, joyfully accepting the gift, "I haven’t seen Qianqian in a long ti. I rember when you were a baby and I was holding you, you peed on . Never thought you would grow up to be so pretty. Seeing you young people, I really have to accept that I’m getting old."
