She covered her left face, her pair of eyes deeply staring at him, the complexity in her gaze even surprised Gu Shaocheng.
He frowned and ignored her.
Turned around and walked away without expression.
"Gu Shaocheng, what you taught in the past, I will employ over my life, use it all on you!"
He didn’t even pause his steps, "If you really have that kind of skill, then I didn’t teach you in vain."
She watched his back, unspeakable anger, "Do you despise that much?"
But no one responded to her.
Wang Yuanyuan took a deep breath, and changed the tone, "Sir, Little Secretary A is in my hands, don’t you want her? Don’t you want to know who is plotting against you?"
In the quiet corridor, only her voice lingered.
Gu Shaocheng had already turned a corner, his gaze unexpectedly fell a few ters away on the ground, he frowned, took large strides towards it, and squatted down slowly, "What happened?"
Chenxing was sitting on the ground with her legs curved, her head buzzing, "I tripped."
He furrowed his brows, "Did you get hurt?"
Chenxing struggled to get up and shook her head: "It seems not."
Gu Shaocheng looked at the way she fell, vaguely understood sothing, sighed lightly in his heart, "What did you see?"
Chenxing was still imrsed in the scene just now, feeling sowhat blocked in her heart, she pursed her lips and said, "I didn’t see anything."
Didn’t see and yet able to show the expression as if she owed her millions?
Gu Shaocheng’s voice beca serious:
"Speak!"
"I didn’t see anything." Her mouth swelled even bigger.
He smiled and pinched her nose, looking at her obviously evident upset appearance, he said in a low voice: "Chenxing, you know, lying to is useless."
She stared at him accusingly, "You were hugging."
"Anything else?"
What else, really bad luck, "Then I turned and walked two steps, and I fell."
"Serves you right." He was about to pull her up, but upon hearing this, he withdrew his hand. Incline slightly, he extended his leather shoe to nudge her foot: "Get up by yourself, take a few steps to see if you’ve hurt anywhere."
She extended her hand, "Can you help ?"
He didn’t, Chenxing pursed her lips in grievance, got up on her own, and walked back and forth a few steps under his gaze.
"Does anywhere hurt?"
Chenxing shook her head again: "It doesn’t hurt."
Then it ans she didn’t hurt her neck bones, he felt relieved, stretched out his hand to bring her towards his waist, pinched her nose: "Didn’t I tell you to behave and sit down, what are you running over here for? Afraid I’d derail while using the restroom? Serves you right for falling."
What the hell, she clearly saw Wang Yuanyuan hugging him, this man is really good at shifting the bla, in the end, he always seizes the right, got caught red-handed and still had no sha!
She took a deep breath, feeling extrely wronged, but felt that she might hear sothing she didn’t want to hear if she questioned him. Half leaning and half supporting him back into the banquet hall, while walking she could only softly grumble about another matter: "That aunt misunderstood our relationship, you didn’t even explain, I’m not your sister."
Upon hearing this, Gu Shaocheng laughed, "Feeling wronged?"
She pursed her lips and didn’t answer, but anyone could see the small dissatisfaction in her eyes.
But Gu Shaocheng could be ruthless enough to ignore it, disregarding her protest with an indifferent presence. Chenxing’s heart sank even further as she heard his dismissive voice once more: "If you feel wronged, then continue to feel wronged, and when you no longer feel so wronged, then give a smile."
