Soon after, a tall man climbed out from inside. Upon a closer look, Hua Hua instantly paled and instinctively stepped back two strides.
The Great Lai’s handso face held a bewitching allure. Recently convalescent, his slim legs were wrapped tightly in his pants. He had been residing in his aunt’s house in City A for recuperation. Hearing that Hua Chu had entranced a host of young girls in a hotel last night, he had started waiting by the hotel entrance since dawn.
Upon reflection, he concluded that their last encounter didn’t amount to much.
Even if he had brandished a gun and risked his life, it didn’t bother him too much. Perhaps it was brotherly affection, or he thought his elder brother’s mishap had sothing to do with him and he had gotten a bit emotional.
With a smile, The Great Lai asked:
"So, you can’t stand the sight of ? I heard you arrived in City A. You loitered around in front of the hotel for three hours early in the morning."
However, Hua Hua wouldn’t give him the slightest face, "What if I can’t stand you?"
So what?
When Young Master Hua is out and about, he doesn’t care to save face for others!
He whistles, and in an instant, the Hidden Guard cos in to protect him.
There isn’t much expression on Hua Hua’s face. He isn’t without backup, and the n his brother gave him have to show their worth right now. Otherwise, what’s the point in having them around?
The guards from both sides stood face to face.
The air instantly thickened with tension.
After a long stand-off with Hua Hua, The Great Lai suddenly chuckled, put his hands in his pockets, and slightly leaned back against the car, "Hua Chu, relax, I an no harm."
Hua Hua was too lazy to pay him any attention and turned to walk away.
"The incident at that ti was my mistake. I am here to apologize sincerely. Who knew your nerves were so delicate? I teased you a bit and you got so scared." The Great Lai’s voice echoed from behind Hua Hua.
No matter what, he thought Hua Hua’s reaction was a bit over the top!
"Hua Chu, haven’t had breakfast yet, right? Let treat you as an apology."
Suddenly Hua Hua’s arm was grabbed, he glared at The Great Lai’s hand, smoke taphorically pouring from his eyes. Using force, he shook off his hand, flicked his clothes, and said, "I’m not interested."
"We are all n here, don’t be petty. Look at your n, they seem quite capable. I am inviting you to dine as a way of apologizing. Are you afraid that I will eat you up?" The Great Lai nonchalantly ignored the tense atmosphere, laughing elegantly, before releasing his grip. At every turn, he laid bare his noble upbringing, "How about giving face? What do you say?"
"Your damn grandma! The Great Lai, listen here. Out of everyone, I won’t give you face. I’m not interested in making you look good, got it?"
Hua Hua humd, spun on his heels, and turned to his n, "Where is the car?"
This ruthless youth... isn’t he a bit too arrogant?
As The Great Lai’s n were about to make a move, they were stopped by him, "Young Master, this man does not respect you at all."
"Mind your own business!" He snapped.
The guard looked surprised. He assud his young master would be furious, but he was flabbergasted. The young master actually wore a smile as if he didn’t mind being disgraced publicly. He even seed to be in a rather good mood.
The Great Lai half-closed his eyes, like a hunter sizing up a proud wild beast, while gazing at Hua Hua, who was about to hop into another car, "Hua Hua, I have all the patience in the world. One day, I will make you willingly beco mine!"
Just before Hua Hua slipped into the car, he shot The Great Lai a hard stare as a response.
"Go-to-hell!"
