"I’m so thirsty. I wish to drink more water. Maybe it will dilute the poison..." Chenxing lifted her water-filled eyes. They carried a charm in them that even she didn’t know about. "Did I eat poisoned candy?"
"No, stop overthinking," Gu Shaocheng pulled her to the bed. He was seated, and she was standing. "Do you feel unwell anywhere?"
"It feels like my whole body hurts."
Gu Shaocheng wasn’t sure whether to cry or laugh. He kept a serious face and said, "Don’t be absurd, you didn’t have any poison, why would you hurt everywhere?"
"Are you sure it’s not poison?"
"Yes."
"Are you certain?"
"Yes, I am."
Well, then. She took a deep breath in front of him, her heart was still full of worry. "But... I feel a bit feverish, and so thirsty. Can I please have so more water?"
"You’ve had enough."
But, but, she’s really thirsty, her mouth feels dry, and all she wants is to keep drinking water... She feels an odd discomfort, is he really not just offering comfort while hiding her condition?
It seems as though Gu Shaocheng wasn’t really paying attention to his sweetheart’s fears. He stood up and walked towards the cabinet, crouching down and rummaging through its contents with his back to her. Sedatives, disposable syringes, ropes... not just one. Should he also find a piece of cloth to gag her mouth?
As ti went by, his heart grew annoyed. Was he really going to mistreat his darling this way? He could actually get rid of her now, but he was indeed unwilling for her to get addicted to drugs. He didn’t want to rely on drugs to take her to the height of arousal.
He would just have to bear with it.
After making his decision, Gu Shaocheng looked through the items once more and then went out to get an armchair.
"Co here, Chenxing."
What is he up to? Chenxing looked on nervously as he bustled about.
"No need to worry, just sit on the chair."
Gu Shaocheng gave her a granny-like smile and signaled for her to co over. Chenxing apprehensively settled into the chair, watching him jumpy. Gu Shaocheng soothingly stroked her hair then turned around, rope in hand, to bind her.
"Shaocheng, what are you doing?"
"Stay still." There was a powerful energy about him but also warmth. "The candy you just had was a newly developed aphrodisiac. It stimulates sensations and controls arousal. I’m going to bind you now; try to hold out for a while, and it will pass."
What?
...How could this be happening!
Hearing his words, Chenxing felt a desolation in her heart, more severe than the despair of eating a potentially fatal poison.
"Really? If I endure it will all be over?"
Looking at her pitiful and tense expression, Gu Shaocheng didn’t have the heart to tell her the truth. He ambiguously said, "Well, it depends on your willpower. I’m going to give you a sedative now. You will sleep and be perfectly fine in the morning."
Currently, Chenxing was obediently sitting, allowing the man in front of her to bind her onto the armchair. She endured silently as he injected the entire sedative dose into her arm. Then, grinding her teeth, she worried.
Under the effect of the sedative, Gu Shaocheng watched as she quickly closed her eyes.
But, things didn’t progress as he’d expected.
In less than five minutes, Chenxing began to move unconsciously in her sleep.
Even though her movents were limited by the rope, she couldn’t stay still. In her daze, her body twisted and struggled.
This is unbearable...
"Ugh...Shaocheng, I feel uncomfortable, very uncomfortable..."
