Chenxing was insistent on dropping by, and even insisted on dragging Gu Shaocheng with her, "Co on. Let’s check on Huanhuan’s baby. It has started to move in her belly. You should feel it too."
Upon hearing this, Gu Shaocheng’s dark eyes twitched.
Asking him to listen for the movent of Huanhuan’s baby? What a whim she had co up with!

But in the end, they stepped into Nan Baihao’s ho.
Inside, there was laughter and rry chatter. Nan Baihao said sothing that had Huanhuan doubling over with laughter. The sound of her laughter was baffling to him, but Chenxing curiously blinked her eyes wondering what could be so funny.
"Hey, elder brother, why are you here? Do you need sothing from ?" Nan Baihao lifted his head to see a man and a woman visiting unexpectedly and upon recognising Brother Baihao and Chenxing, he imdiately stood up, thinking Gu Shaocheng needed sothing, he appeared distressed, "Brother, like I’ve said before, I don’t take on tasks at night. Uh, my Huanhuan needs company..."
Chenxing chuckled softly.
"We’re just dropping by, Brother Baihao."
What? Was the sun rising from the west? His elder brother visiting his house? They were usually the ones visiting his elder brother! When did he find the leisure to do this?
Chenxing walked past him and struck up a conversation with Huanhuan. The two won were whispering and giggling together. Gu Shaocheng, on the other hand, just cracked a smile and found a place to sit casually. Nan Baihao waited for a mont, when he found Shaocheng seed to be here just for a visit, he felt relieved and stopped hesitating, promptly going to brew so tea.
"How many months is it now?"
This question was from Gu Shaocheng, spoken as a monarch questioning a diplomat’s family mber. Liang Huanhuan was most scared of the devil Gu. Though she often referred to him as such, she always kept her distance from him. Hearing Gu Shaocheng’s question now, she shrank back in her seat, wondering why the devil Gu was inquiring about this?
As Nan Baihao ca out with the tea, he saw his scared wife shrinking back. Thinking that she was being bullied, he imdiately ran over to Gu Shaocheng, "Brother, why are you bullying my Huanhuan?"
Gu Shaocheng was utterly bewildered, "What did I do?"
"My Huanhuan is scared of you."
"I just asked her how many months pregnant she is." How did that scare Silly? Besides, Silly wasn’t Chenxing. She’s far from being timid, so how was she scared by him?
This was utterly baffling!
Nan Baihao held his wife in his arms as if holding his entire world.
Liang Huanhuan rarely saw her husband stand up to Gu Shaocheng. Suddenly feeling happy, she hugged her husband without uttering a word, acting as if she had been overly startled, leaving Chenxing stupefied.
This solidified the fact that Huanhuan was indeed scared!
Gu Shaocheng didn’t have a chance to refute, and didn’t bother engaging with Huanhuan’s excitent and provocation. He gestured towards Chenxing, half-jokingly calling out, "Honey, look, I’m being bullied!"
Chenxing’s eyes sparkled as she asked in a dominating tone, "Brother Baihao, why are you bullying my Shaocheng?"
She even strode over to hug Gu Shaocheng, imitating Nan Baihao’s comforting gestures on her husband - an action that almost made Gu Shaocheng crack up laughing.
Nan Baihao said, "It’s clearly brother who was bullying my Huanhuan!"
Chenxing countered, "And yet I only see you bullying my Shaocheng!"
