Chenxing seed exceptionally happy after allowing her to visit, perhaps, it was due to the promise he made to her. But the day was growing late and it wasn’t proper timing for any outings. She sprawled on her bed, engrossed in exploring Gu Shaocheng’s mobile phone, downloading a bunch of gas which she enjoyed playing.
After dinner, he wanted her to rest and sleep but that silly Liang Huanhuan managed to persuaded her to visit the arcade across their hotel.
Chenxing looked at him with an eager expression. "Gu Shaocheng, is that okay?"
Seeing her so excited, he nodded in agreent.
Chenxing bead with joy, looking adorably playful as she huddled close to Liang Huanhuan, blabbing non-stop, "My favorite is the coin-operated claw machine. I always grab so many stuffed animals."
"Ha ha, I love Dance Dance Revolution and playing Dou Dizhu," Liang Huanhuan glanced at Gu Shaocheng and pulled Chenxing aside, whispering, "Tell him, it’s just us girls going, not him." She knew she wouldn’t be able to enjoy themselves with him around.
Gu Shaocheng didn’t fancy going either so he arranged for two bodyguards to accompany them.
They didn’t spend long in the arcade when Nan Baihao arrived, looking all worn out. He pulled his wife aside and scolded her, "You unruly girl, who allowed you to wander off? If you leave ho again without telling anyone, I’ll strip you down and make you perform a striptease for !"
Liang Huanhuan just shrugged, chewing gum nonchalantly. "What took you so long? You know how bored I was?"
"Hmph, now you’re missing your husband, huh? Beg , beg to skip this beating."
Liang Huanhuan kicked him away, assud a fighting stance, "What, Young Mr. Nan is looking for a fight? Give your best three hits, and don’t cry when you lose. I don’t want people to think I’m abusive."
Chenxing was watching the spectacle in awe.
Nan Baihao: "You’re looking for a spanking, aren’t you? I’m done pampering you!"
Liang Huanhuan was deciding whether to give Nan Baihao a swift kick or a quick punch when Gu Shaocheng ca over, grabbing her hand, "Let’s go."
Chenxing kept looking back, "Shao...Shaocheng, shouldn’t we... stop them? What if they really start fighting?"
"Mind your own business."
She didn’t know if Liang Huanhuan and Nan Baihao ended up fighting, but the next day, while boating and cruising on a speed boat, the loving couple was all mushy and laughing happily.
Amidst the beautiful lake and mountain scenery, Chenxing felt particularly happy and relaxed. She leaned her head against Gu Shaocheng’s shoulder, humming a tune softly.
They stopped the speed boat in a designated area marked with yellow in the lake. Under the guidance of professional divers, they began to put on diving suits and equipnt.
As they prepared to dive, one little girl was starting to worry.
"Erm, there are no submarines, right? What if I can’t dive?" She initially thought she could observe the lakebed from inside a submarine, just like in an aquarium. But unexpectedly, she had to dive herself. She didn’t know how to swim, and could only hold her breath. Would she drown once she entered the water?
Thinking about it made her spine chill.
Gu Shaocheng heard her worries and felt helpless, "I told you we were going to dive earlier. If you can’t dive, why would you suggest it?" He playfully brought a small bottle of alcohol to her lips, "Have a sip. It’ll keep you warm and embolden you."
