Gu Shaocheng averted his eyes, not letting her see.
This room gave him a particularly familiar feeling.
That feeling ca from deep within his mory.
When he was very young, his mother was a woman who extrely enjoyed decorating the ho; he hadn’t realized that Chenxing and his mother shared a similar taste.
With a nervous heart, Chenxing glanced at Gu Shaocheng and noticed that he had shifted his gaze. She pondered for a mont and nervously asked, "So, do you like it?"
"Not bad." In fact, he liked it very much.
Chenxing took a deep breath, relieved that he liked it and imdiately relaxed in front of him, smiling as she said, "I’ll go put the flowers in a vase."
Gu Shaocheng sat on the sofa in the living room, watching her petite figure shuttle back and forth in the living room, his eyes not leaving her figure.
Chenxing brought him tea; it was his favorite, Biluochun.
Gu Shaocheng, like an old gentleman, completely relaxed and reached out to receive the tea from her hands. As Chenxing loosened her grip, all that was heard was a crisp splash as the teacup slipped from his hands, scattering water everywhere.
His hand still hung in mid-air.
Chenxing looked at him in astonishnt.
Gu Shaocheng’s analytical mind tried to send out commands, but his arm had no sensation. He panicked inwardly, displaying no emotion on his face. After a full half-minute, his arm naturally fell.
"Are you hurt?" In surprise, Chenxing asked, "I thought you had a firm grip on the teacup. Why didn’t you hold on tight?"
"..."
Chenxing noticed that the man was staring at his own hand, lips pressed tightly as if suppressing sothing.
She didn’t dwell on it, assuming she had let go too quickly and he was too slow to catch it, causing the teacup to fall to the floor. Noticing that Gu Shaocheng seed to be suppressing sothing intense, she closed her mouth and squatted down, saying, "It’s alright, the water was very hot. Luckily it didn’t get on you. I’ll go make another cup."
As she spoke, she began picking up the fragnts of the teacup and went out to get a mop.
"I’m going upstairs to take a nap," Gu Shaocheng suddenly rose.
He passed by her and hurried upstairs, disappearing from sight in monts.
Chenxing touched her head, "What’s wrong?"
It seed Shaocheng suddenly beca upset; she hadn’t said anything triggering, so unpredictable.
The man who returned to the bedroom kicked the door heavily. In that movent, a faint emotion burst forth. Gu Shaocheng closed his eyes, fell on the Simmons mattress with a thud, his emotions uncontrolled due to the temporary loss of sensation in his palm. In fact, whenever this happened, he felt very down.
A strong man, he must face the reality of no longer being strong. Such a ntal gap was not sothing ordinary people could bear.

A bitter smile appeared on Gu Shaocheng’s lips, his heart filled with resentnt. He opened his eyes, wishing he could destroy everything, but the mont he did so, he saw the conspicuous wall of photos.
His eyes, alternatively bright and dim, flickered.
Slowly standing up, he walked to the wall and silently looked at the pictures.
His restless heart slowly cald.
Unable to resist, he reached out gently, his fingertips tenderly sliding over the photo depicting a happy man and woman.
It turned out, they had so many happy monts together in the past.
