After finishing, his gaze fell onto Chenxing, and the gentlemanly man smiled at her with exceptional warmth: "Little beauty, we et again."

Having said this, Gu Shaocheng got into a car and headed to the hotel, leaving Yan Fengchi to partner with Kevin in searching for Luo Xi.
But once at the hotel, Chenxing beca restless, standing by the window overlooking the strange city, wishing she could pull her cousin out of so corner of this unfamiliar city. She grabbed Gu Shaocheng’s hand, "Do you really think my cousin ca to assassinate soone?"

As Gu Shaocheng spoke, he quickly changed the topic, "Do you still rember two years ago we also stayed in this room of the hotel?"
Chenxing hadn’t noticed such details, and as Gu Shaocheng pinched her nose, she swatted his hand away. He pinched her cheek, and as Chenxing pouted, his words echoed in her ears: "I seem to rember you really liking the frozen desserts from the hotel’s downstairs sweet shop back then. Do you want to try them again for old ti’s sake?"
"No appetite."
Gu Shaocheng tenderly ruffled her hair, "Let’s not decide on your appetite until after we’ve bought it."
He took her out of the room, but they were disappointed once they reached the hotel’s ground floor. The sweet shop had turned into a coffee shop. Discovering the change in the facade, he couldn’t help but laugh, "Even if you’re in the mood now, there’s nothing left to eat."
He asked around and learned there was another shop across the street, but Chenxing couldn’t be bothered to walk that far. Gu Shaocheng cursed her laziness and left to buy sothing by himself, while Chenxing turned back to the hotel, only to run into an old acquaintance in this foreign land unexpectedly.
Inside the hotel lobby, both were silent, the atmosphere tense.
Xia Jianqing walked towards her, step by step, and as Chenxing watched the increasingly close figure, she gave an awkward smile: "What a coincidence."
"I didn’t want to see you at all." These were the first words Xia Jianqing said.
Chenxing was taken aback, not knowing how to continue the conversation, feeling the urge to sidestep, but her arm was grabbed. Jianqing’s gaze was fixed on her, and the complexity in his eyes was sothing she actually didn’t want to understand. Chenxing parted her lips, feeling fate’s cruel play, "Jianqing, you’ve lost a lot of weight. Have things been rough for you lately?"
Hearing this, Xia Jianqing pursed his lips and said nothing.
"Could you let go of , please? Shaocheng will be back any minute, and it wouldn’t be good for him to see us." Shaocheng was a very jealous man in this regard.
