He beckoned her to sit next to him, and as soon as she got close, he directly pulled her into his embrace: "This question, you should look into it yourself, I don’t know much more than you do."

He smiled as he pressed her down onto the Simmons mattress, and as they gazed into each other’s eyes, Chenxing blinked, and Gu Shaocheng leaned down to gently kiss her lips. In that mont, on the horizon, the setting sun slowly disappeared beneath the horizon, and the sky turned completely dark amidst their kisses.
In the dimness, he still gazed deeply at her, his fingertips delicately tracing her increasingly beautiful cheeks. After two years of careful care, she had grown much prettier than when they first t, and her skin had beco even more tender. That night, they even ate dinner in the bedroom.

The next day, long after the sun had risen, Chenxing had just finished eating breakfast when Gu Shaocheng grasped her hand tightly.
His expression was complex, as though he had much to say but hesitated.
"Chenxing, I’ll take you to a place."
"Where to? Let change clothes first."
"No need, it’s inside the rehabilitation center, we won’t go out." Gu Shaocheng led her out of the small villa, and their steps were not quick. Gu Shaocheng struggled inside, thinking as he walked.
Chenxing tried to talk to him, and he rely responded occasionally with a hum.
Then, he pulled her to a tall surrounding wall, where there was only a small door with a thick iron lock dividing the east and west gardens of the rehabilitation center.
Gu Shaocheng took out a key to unlock it.
With a creaking sound, he pushed open not just a door but also his heart.
Chenxing looked at him curiously and noticed his complexion wasn’t good. She couldn’t help but wonder deeply: "Shaocheng, what is this place?"
"Let’s go."
With an "Oh," Chenxing passed through the iron gate, and Gu Shaocheng closely followed, then with another creak, he locked the door, sealing the secret he didn’t share with others.
He held her hand and continued walking: "This rehabilitation center is divided into two gardens, connected only by this iron gate."
"Oh, what is this garden for?" Chenxing followed his words and inquired.
Gu Shaocheng did not speak anymore, just quietly held her hand, silently walking down the tree-lined path. Chenxing glanced around, didn’t think too much, only feeling that this path was very quiet, the greenery was good, suitable for the two to walk and chat.
After walking for about ten minutes, they stopped in front of a building.
A three-story building, looking very much like a layout for a rehabilitation center, with so people in the courtyard sunbathing, others exercising.
Chenxing saw both n and won among them, not paying much attention.
Occasionally, she would also see one or two sitting in wheelchairs, quietly gazing at the sky, as if pondering life.
Chenxing even smiled and held onto Gu Shaocheng’s arm, following him through the main entrance.
A man dressed like a doctor in a white lab coat ca down from upstairs. Upon seeing Gu Shaocheng, Gu Shaocheng nodded to him, "Take to the surveillance room to have a look."
