A colossal abyssal demon wolf, as large as an ancient divine mountain, stepped gracefully through the clouds, quickly arriving before Ye Tian and the others.
At that mont, several hundred experts at the Half-Step True Ancestor level were present in the area. They just happened to encounter the abyssal demon wolf, but none of them showed any fear.
“Just a lowly abyssal wolf, courting death!”
A Half-Step True Ancestor brandished a half-Dao Artifact spear and charged toward the demon wolf, clearly eager to show off his power.
In one word: boasting! But trouble was brewing.
Clang! The spear struck the abyssal wolf’s body, producing a sharp tallic sound.
The Half-Step True Ancestor’s expression changed drastically.
With his strength, combined with the power of the half-Dao Artifact spear, he should have easily pierced through any unguarded Half-Step True Ancestor. Even a weaker True Ancestor would have been impaled with a single blow.
But this abyssal demon wolf had blocked the spear purely with the defense of its physical body! Such terrifying durability stunned everyone.

Under normal circumstances, even with a power disparity, it would take multiple strikes to wear down a Half-Step True Ancestor’s life force and kill them. Instant kills were rare unless the gap in strength was unimaginably large.
However, the wolf’s attack just now hadn’t been much stronger than the Half-Step True Ancestor’s power. The real cause of the death lay in the abyssal demonic energy.
The abyssal demonic energy from the Infinite Abyss contained a terrifying corrosive power. It could instantly erode a Half-Step True Ancestor’s life force, making recovery impossible once injured.
In an instant, fear gripped the hearts of the remaining Half-Step True Ancestors. None of them dared engage the abyssal demon wolf.
“The Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws is here!” A Half-Step True Ancestor shouted.
Imdiately, countless hopeful gazes turned toward Ye Tian.
“Dao Child, please slay this demon wolf. We will be forever grateful!”
“Dao Child, we beg you to eliminate this abyssal wolf. We shall owe you a great debt!”
“Dao Child, please kill this wolf. We will be eternally thankful!”
One by one, the Half-Step True Ancestors pleaded.
Ye Tian casually unleashed a Spacequake attack toward the demon wolf. Then, without another word, he turned and left, vanishing from sight.
“Why did the Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws leave?”
The Half-Step True Ancestors were dumbfounded.
Suddenly, one of them noticed sothing strange about the abyssal wolf and cried out, “Look!”
The abyssal demon wolf’s movents stilled, and its massive body gradually disintegrated into nothingness.
Hiss! The crowd collectively gasped. Ye Tian had killed such a terrifying abyssal wolf with a casual strike. This level of power was simply overwhelming.
“As expected of the Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws, who can even slay a Dao Ancestor’s incarnation—his strength is truly unmatched!” A Half-Step True Ancestor exclaid in awe.
The Half-Step True Ancestors promptly dispersed, though none dared to leave with too much bravado. Each of them treaded cautiously, and whenever they sensed the presence of an abyssal creature, they fled at once.
Along the way, Ye Tian encountered many abyssal creatures. Whenever he t one, he killed it on the spot.
Gradually, Ye Tian developed a clearer understanding of the power levels of these abyssal beings.
Most of them were relatively weak, roughly equivalent to weaker Half-Step True Ancestors, and so were even only as strong as True Monarchs. However, the strongest among them could rival the peak of the Half-Step True Ancestor realm.
Even so, the Infinite Abyss Fragnt was vast, and Ye Tian couldn’t be certain whether there were abyssal creatures lurking within that could threaten him.
One thing was certain, though: the fragnt was filled with treasures.
Although the number of valuable items wasn’t particularly high, everything found here was of high quality.
For instance, rare ores useful for forging Dao Artifacts, divine herbs that could be refined into pills to enhance the strength of True Ancestors, and even the corpses of abyssal creatures—every part of them was a treasure.
However, despite finding many valuable things, Ye Tian remained unsatisfied. What he truly sought were Harmony-grade treasures. Only those would be worth the effort of coming to the Infinite Abyss Fragnt. If he could find just one, the entire expedition would be worthwhile.

Ten Half-Step True Ancestors arrived at an abyssal ruin, where they discovered an ancient hall.
Logically, there shouldn’t have been any ruins within the Infinite Abyss, let alone a hall built by cultivators.

They believed they had stumbled upon a fated chance and speculated that this might be the inheritance site of a powerful figure.
Without hesitation, they ventured into the hall.
But disaster struck almost imdiately!
“Ahhhhh!!!”
The mont they entered the hall, they encountered a humanoid abyssal creature with twin-bladed forelimbs.
In a flash, the abyssal creature killed all ten Half-Step True Ancestors—one strike per person, ten strikes in total.
These were not ordinary Half-Step True Ancestors, either. All of them had reached the peak of the Half-Step True Ancestor realm. One among them was even a personal disciple of a Dao Ancestor and had made it onto the True Monarch Rankings, albeit near the bottom—still a testant to his strength.
Yet even such top-tier Half-Step True Ancestors were killed in an instant by this abyssal creature. This alone demonstrated the terrifying power of the creature.
After slaughtering the ten Half-Step True Ancestors, the humanoid abyssal creature spoke—an act that would have left anyone who heard it in disbelief.
According to all available information, abyssal creatures possessed extrely low intelligence and acted purely on instinct.
The abyssal creature said, “Ten Half-Step True Ancestors… It seems I’ve successfully reached the Other-Dinsional Domain. The master’s plan has succeeded! Unfortunately, I cannot leave the Infinite Abyss Fragnt for now. Only by becoming a True Ancestor will I be able to fully shed my identity as an abyssal creature and transform into a noble, akin to an Abyss Lord.”
After uttering these words, the abyssal creature fell silent.
Sadly, no one heard its words. Otherwise, many troubling thoughts would have arisen.
