TL: Etude
The Human Race.
After Ye Tian returned, he contacted Dao Ancestor Void Sky and t with him once again.
“Master, the Wind King has given his response!” Ye Tian spoke calmly, “The Wind King said that Blackwind Mountain does not accept subordinate forces. If the Void Sky Lineage wishes to join Blackwind Mountain, there is only one way: Master must beco a Heavenly King of Blackwind Mountain, and the Void Sky Lineage would transform into the Void Sky Legion, directly under your command.”
Dao Ancestor Void Sky’s face turned pale.
He quickly asked, “Does this an that the Void Sky Lineage would exist in na only and could only act as the Void Sky Legion?”
“Yes.” Ye Tian nodded.
“May I have so ti to think it over?” Dao Ancestor Void Sky hesitated, visibly torn.
“Master can take as much ti as needed to consider. When you’ve decided, let know.”
Ye Tian did not push Dao Ancestor Void Sky, knowing he had already done all he could.
If Dao Ancestor Void Sky truly did not wish to go through with it, there was nothing he could do. He also understood very well that it would be a difficult decision for his master to make.
Until today, Dao Ancestor Void Sky had been the leader of a great force. Now he was being asked to beco a high-ranking figure within another major force, while his own lineage would be dissolved and lose its identity as an independent power. It was hard for him to accept such a transition so quickly.
Dao Ancestor Void Sky’s incarnation remained among the human race, contemplating slowly.
Days passed.
Three months went by before Dao Ancestor Void Sky finally made his decision.
“Disciple, I am willing to join Blackwind Mountain,” he sighed.
He understood that he had no choice but to make this decision. His relationships with other forces in the Upper Three Heavens were strained. Joining Blackwind Mountain was the best option.
If he refused, when those Upper Three Heavens forces ca for him in the future, he would not be able to resist. He would likely perish, his Dao extinguished.
However, if he joined Blackwind Mountain, under its protection, he could ensure his safety. While there were no guarantees in other aspects, at least his survival would be relatively secure—as long as he did not act recklessly.
Of course, if he insisted on competing for opportunities and got himself killed, it would simply be a testant to his lack of strength.
With Dao Ancestor Void Sky agreeing, the next steps were straightforward.
The Wind King’s consciousness avatar appeared in person to conduct Dao Ancestor Void Sky’s assessnt. After a simple evaluation, Dao Ancestor Void Sky successfully passed and officially beca a Heavenly King of Blackwind Mountain, holding a status comparable to that of Ye Tian.
Dao Ancestor Void Sky originally hoped that other Dao Ancestors within the Void Sky Lineage could also beco Heavenly Kings. Unfortunately, they did not et the strength requirents, as Blackwind Mountain’s standards for Heavenly Kings were exceptionally high.
Thus, the Dao Ancestors of the Void Sky Lineage could only be demoted to positions such as vice legion commanders and other roles within the Void Sky Legion.
Soon after, Dao Ancestor Void Sky publicly announced his allegiance to Blackwind Mountain. The Void Sky Lineage was officially restructured as the Void Sky Legion.
The news was conveyed to the Void Sky Hall of the Void Sky True Nation and also spread back to the Void Sky Realm.
At first, there was significant opposition, but dissenters were swiftly suppressed.
Gradually, the Dao Ancestors and True Monarchs of the Void Sky Lineage began to accept their new roles as mbers of the legion.
Before long, many True Ancestors of the Void Sky Legion were stationed in the Fire King Small Domain. They were allocated a specific space within it, which was now referred to as the Void Sky Space.
The Void Sky Legion was undeniably powerful. It also controlled a vast True Nation, which could provide Blackwind Mountain with an abundance of talented individuals. Thus, the ergence of the Void Sky Legion brought significant benefits to Blackwind Mountain.
The forces of the Upper Three Heavens had little reaction to the Void Sky Legion. After all, the Void Sky Lineage was, at best, a Fifth Heaven force. They paid it no real attention. At most, so True Ancestors privately discussed it, but it failed to capture the interest of the Seventh Heaven Dao Ancestors or the Pinnacle Dao Ancestors.
In the blink of an eye, the Void Sky Legion had settled into Blackwind Mountain and stabilized. Dao Ancestor Void Sky also gradually ca to terms with his new identity as a Heavenly King of Blackwind Mountain.
However, the Profound Void Ancient Realm had yet to advance to the Archaic Realm. As a result, Dao Ancestor Void Sky and the other Dao Ancestors could not enter it directly. They could only send incarnations to Blackwind Mountain to handle certain matters.
As ti passed, Ye Tian’s cultivation had reached a bottleneck. He had attained the pinnacle of Supre True Ancestor.
“The refinent of the Forbidden Body has reached 69%. As expected, I can’t refine it further, not even by a fraction,” Ye Tian muttered to himself.
At this point, Ye Tian truly found himself unable to advance further. No matter how heaven-defying his thods, he could not break through the limitations of the pinnacle Supre True Ancestor. After all, the Supre True Ancestor was the ultimate limit of True Ancestor. He had no ans to create a new True Ancestor realm beyond this stage.
If he were capable of such a feat, he might as well rewrite the rules of the Dark Forbidden Domain with a single word and impose his own.
After reaching the pinnacle of Supre True Ancestor, Ye Tian seldom cultivated further. Instead, he focused on teaching his two children and guiding his wife and sister in their cultivation, helping them steadily improve their strength.
Under Ye Tian’s relentless efforts, Ye Xingchen and Ye Xingyue both advanced to combat power equivalent to Invincible Dao Ancestors. anwhile, Xiao Yue and Ye Yu made continuous progress toward the pinnacle of Invincible True Ancestors, though this step proved exceedingly difficult.
Ye Yu had received a Core Talent Fruit from Ye Xingyue, thereby awakening a Dao-level core talent. However, possessing a Dao-level core talent did not guarantee an advance to the pinnacle of Invincible Dao Ancestor.
Reaching the pinnacle of Invincible Dao Ancestor was an imnsely challenging feat. Even among the many Invincible True Ancestors in the Profound Void Ancient Realm, only a handful had ascended to that level.
In the years that followed, Ye Tian cleverly used the pretense of obtaining a supre treasure to persuade Ye Xingchen, Ye Xingyue, and Xiao Yue to refine it, claiming it would grant them Dao-level core talents. Secretly, he bestowed these talents upon them himself.
As a result, Ye Xingchen, Ye Xingyue, Xiao Yue, and Ye Yu each gained Dao-level core talents perfectly suited to them.
With these talents, their cultivation of Middle Thousand Dao Techniques beca nearly flawless. Combined with the continuous refinent of their Forbidden Bodies, their combat strength improved rapidly.
Ten thousand years passed. A million years. Finally, another three million years went by in the Profound Void Ancient Realm.
By this ti, Ye Xingchen had reached the combat strength of a top-tier Invincible Dao Ancestor. Ye Xingyue had also achieved top-tier Invincible Dao Ancestor combat strength. Ye Yu followed suit, reaching the sa level.
Xiao Yue, however, beca the strongest among them. With Ye Tian’s special care and countless resources at her disposal, she directly advanced to the pinnacle combat strength of an Invincible Dao Ancestor.
If given the right opportunity, Xiao Yue might ascend to the rank of Supre True Ancestor. Her bottleneck had long been shattered by the Heaven-Forbidden Tree Heart, making her prospects of becoming a Supre True Ancestor exceptionally promising.
On this day, Ouyang Jiu’er inford Ye Tian that the Profound Void Ancient Realm was on the verge of advancing!
