TL: Etude
Deep within a magnificent temple, a phantom soul suddenly appeared atop a cyan treasure lotus. This soul was none other than the First Divine Lord of the Immortal Race.
The First Divine Lord opened his eyes, and deep within them lay sheer terror. “What a terrifying Master of the Primordial Era! He killed in an instant with just one move. If it weren’t for the soul treasure lotus storing my soul and being able to reshape it back into my body in an instant, I would truly be dead!”
With a swish, the First Divine Lord stepped out of the soul treasure lotus, his body slowly regenerating.
In no ti, the First Divine Lord had a complete physical body again.
However, he was now extrely weak and would need a long ti to recover.
“Send the order: the Immortal Race is to enter a state of alert and be ready for battle at any mont. Also, notify all the other Supres of the Immortal Race to gather here imdiately!” the First Divine Lord commanded.
At the sa ti, the First Demon Lord of the Demon Race also appeared as a soul deep within the Demon Race’s headquarters. After recovering his body, he convened a eting, and the Demon Race also entered a state of war readiness.
This incident had truly shocked all the races.
The death of over a hundred Supres was a minor issue. The real problem was that all the races would completely lose their ruling power.
In the Human Race’s Holy City.
Ye Tian quickly received news about the fall of over a hundred Supres. Due to the imnse impact of this event, even the intelligence network of Tian Pavilion had learned of it.
Additionally, Ye Tian heard about the severe injury of Kunwu Supre, one of the Human Race’s Supres.
The only fortunate thing was that no Supres of the Human Race had fallen.
Imdiately, Ye Tian went to Kunwu Pavilion to visit Kunwu Supre, but Kunwu Supre did not see him right away as he was in the middle of healing.
Three years later, one of Kunwu Supre’s avatars t with Ye Tian.
“Kunwu Supre, how are you?” Ye Tian asked.
Kunwu Supre sighed, “I won’t die, but this injury won’t heal in a few thousand years.”
“Kunwu Supre, what exactly happened?” Ye Tian asked in confusion.
Kunwu Supre revealed his fear, “Honestly, I don’t really know what happened. The Supres of the Immortal and Demon Races discovered that the Supres of the Twelve Cosmic Eras were gathering in the Primordial Hall, seemingly for so major event, and inford the Supres of all races to co. However, we were stopped by the outer divine formation.
Shortly after, an aura similar to a chaos supre treasure emanated, shaking the universe. Then, the Master of the Primordial Era and the other Supres ca out. The Master of the Primordial Era alone instantly killed over a hundred Supres, including the First Divine Lord and the First Demon Lord.
But I heard that the First Divine Lord and the First Demon Lord reappeared in the Immortal and Demon Races, seemingly surviving through so special secret technique. However, the fall of those over a hundred Supres and the severe injuries of several hundred more. I was lucky to be a bit further away; otherwise, I wouldn’t have survived either.”
“What? How could this happen?” Ye Tian was shocked.
Kunwu Supre said, “I speculate that those Supres of the Twelve Cosmic Eras have likely shed the universe’s suppression and can now wield imnse power. The Master of the Primordial Era, who beca supre as a Child of the Era, is far stronger than us.”
“So, doesn’t this an that the Supres of the Twelve Cosmic Eras could sweep through the Supres of all races, putting all races in danger?” Ye Tian asked.
“They probably won’t!” Kunwu Supre said. “At that ti, after the Master of the Primordial Era killed over a hundred Supres, he didn’t make any further moves, nor did the other Supres of the Twelve Cosmic Eras.”
It was evident they wouldn’t kill us all; otherwise, most of our Supres wouldn’t have returned. Additionally, they likely wouldn’t attack the myriad races, as the agreent signed back then hadn’t expired. For the next ninety thousand years, they probably wouldn’t make a move. But after ninety thousand years, who could say for sure!”
“Ninety thousand years, huh?” Ye Tian murmured.
“Ye Tian, grow quickly. The current situation of the universe is ever-changing. We still don’t know what the Supres of the Twelve Cosmic Eras are planning. Only if you grow rapidly will there be hope to counter those Supres,” Kunwu Supre advised.
“Kunwu Supre, I will do my best!” Ye Tian nodded.
“Ye Tian, I need to return and stabilize my injuries. I won’t be coming out for the next few thousand years. If you need anything, seek help from the other Supres. During this period, they will all fully support you!” Kunwu Supre said, then retracted his avatar.
Ye Tian also left the Supre Hall of Humanity.
Upon returning to Tian Pavilion in the Holy City, Ye Tian began to ponder.
His current growth rate was already very fast, but aiming to beco a supre within ninety thousand years seed challenging. It wasn’t an issue of cultivation talent or resources but a matter of accumulation. He needed to accumulate to the extre in each realm; otherwise, it would affect his breakthrough to the Transcendent Realm. But doing so would slow down his cultivation process.
If he didn’t prioritize accumulation and potential, he could absolutely rush to the supre realm in a short ti, but that would make him the weakest supre. Moreover, he might even die under the tribulation.
“I need trump cards, and I need to grow faster!” Ye Tian pondered and soon thought of a solution.
“True Talent!”
This talent ca from Primordial Supre, and it was the secret behind Primordial Supre becoming one of the most unique Heavenly Venerables with the strongest survival abilities. Many Supres in the universe knew Primordial Supre had many avatars, and even if one died, he could create another. No one knew which was his true body.
Ye Tian had used his Copy Talent to examine Primordial Supre’s talent and had fused it into himself but had never used this talent.
The True Talent was different from ordinary avatar talents. Ordinary avatar talents allowed one to split off an avatar with similar cultivation, but they couldn’t last long. True Talent, however, could create a second and third true body, each capable of unique cultivation. This was what Ye Tian understood from the True Talent.
Creating a second true body wasn’t easy; it required a supre treasure as a foundation.
Moreover, all true bodies shared one consciousness, aning it wasn’t practical for multiple true bodies to fight simultaneously. In a full-force battle, only one true body could be used, while the others would be empty shells.
In real combat, splitting one’s focus to control multiple true bodies, each performing different secret techniques and talents, was too difficult and could weaken one’s combat strength.
In simple terms, True Talent was akin to creating several backup puppets. Unlike ordinary puppets, these could integrate with the main body’s consciousness, cultivate, and fight.
This explained why Primordial Supre’s battles always featured only one true body and never multiple true bodies attacking an enemy simultaneously. This was a limitation of True Talent.
Now, Ye Tian planned to create a second true body and quickly elevate it to the supre realm. A re ordinary supre wouldn’t be much help, but it could enter the Desolate Realm and use the Desolate Lord Mandate to control it.
The Desolate Realm was not a weak force and could serve as Ye Tian’s trump card. Moreover, he could use the Desolate Realm’s origin power to rapidly enhance his cultivation.
This would be a win-win situation!
