In the territory of the War God Tower.
In front of a white palace, a group of won stood guard. This was the residence of Goddess Yun Zi — the Purple Cloud Palace. (Yun Zi = Cloud Purple btw)
Goddess Yun Zi, being a seven-star Divine General and a personal disciple of a Dao Ancestor, occupied a vast region in the Grand Universe, which was nad the Purple Cloud Domain.
The environnt of the Grand Universe differed from that of ordinary universes. The Grand Universe consisted mostly of continental terrains, with countless starry sky continents in the void. The largest of these starry sky continents was the Ancestral Stele Continent, where the Ancestral Stele was located. It was boundless, many tis the size of previous universes.
The Void Sky Hall was situated on the Void Sky Continent, far from the Purple Cloud Domain.
However, for a Divine General, this distance was negligible.
With his incredible speed, Ye Tian soon arrived at the Purple Cloud Domain.
Standing before the Purple Cloud Palace, Ye Tian quickly made his way inside and t Goddess Yun Zi.
“Greetings to Goddess Yun Zi!” Ye Tian said.
“The Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws is too polite. Please, have a seat!” Goddess Yun Zi responded, then had all the maids leave, including the Heavenly Monarch who was guarding her.
At this mont, only Ye Tian and Goddess Yun Zi remained.
“Goddess Yun Zi, do you truly have the Chaos Black Tortoise Shell?” Ye Tian asked urgently.
“Yes!” Goddess Yun Zi smiled and said, “The Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws has been collecting Destiny Stones and Chaos Black Tortoise Shells for years. These two treasures are essential innate origins for cultivating the Great Divination Technique. In the chaos, the Great Divination Technique is considered almost impossible to master and is nearly abandoned by people. If it weren’t for the terrifying power of the Great Divination Technique, it would have long fallen out of the top hundred divine abilities.

“First, tell what you need help with,” Ye Tian demanded.
Goddess Yun Zi’s expression shifted slightly, showing a hint of surprise.
Though Ye Tian hadn’t admitted to mastering the Great Divination Technique, his question about the task indicated his confidence in mastering it. Otherwise, there would be no need to ask.

“Alright, what else do you want?” Goddess Yun Zi asked.
“I want a Chaos Divine Ability of the twelve major attributes and the corresponding innate origin objects. I don’t need anything related to ti-space or lightning attributes,” Ye Tian pondered for a mont and then replied.
“Heh, even if you wanted ti-space attributes, I wouldn’t be able to provide them!” Goddess Yun Zi rolled her eyes and then nodded. “Alright, I do have a Chaos Divine Ability inheritance, and one of them cos with the corresponding innate origin object. Unfortunately, I lack the necessary talent to cultivate it.
This Chaos Divine Ability is of the tal attribute, called the Devouring Gold Divine Ability. It’s a rather rare cultivation-type Chaos Divine Ability, ranked 121st among Chaos Divine Abilities.”
As Goddess Yun Zi explained, Ye Tian began to understand the Devouring Gold Divine Ability.
Once mastered, the Devouring Gold Divine Ability allowed the practitioner to devour various tals, refining them into a set of full-body armor, and even into weapons. The grade of the armor and weapons corresponded with the practitioner’s own strength. When the Devouring Gold Divine Ability reached its perfected realm, it could potentially grant a Divine General Chaos Supre Treasures-level armor and weapons, perfectly suited to the practitioner. However, getting started with the Devouring Gold Divine Ability was difficult. It required the fusion of the Devouring Talent and the tal Attribute Talent to form the Devouring Gold Talent, and this talent was resource-intensive, requiring a massive amount of tals. In essence, a poor Divine General couldn’t afford to cultivate the Devouring Gold Divine Ability.
Goddess Yun Zi, with her background, could theoretically obtain the Devouring Talent and tal Attribute Talent from the War God Tower and fuse them into the Devouring Gold Talent using treasures, though at a high cost.
But to pay such a hefty price to cultivate a divine ability she didn’t particularly favor was simply not worth it.

After they signed the agreent, Ye Tian obtained the Chaos Black Tortoise Shell.
However, Goddess Yun Zi required Ye Tian to cultivate the Great Divination Technique within the Purple Cloud Palace. She wasn’t worried about him running away but was concerned about him being delayed by other matters.
