TL: Etude
The Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar—who wouldn’t want such a supre treasure? Even his master, Dao Ancestor Void Sky, would likely go mad upon discovering its existence and potential. Once the true purpose of the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar beca known, the competition for it would be overwhelming.
For now, though, few people seed to understand its full capabilities. Not even the Dao Ancestor incarnations present necessarily knew that the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar could assist in the Harmony Realm. If they did, the fight for it would beco even fiercer.
Of course, the usefulness of the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar would inevitably be exposed. But as long as it remained hidden for the mont, Ye Tian had a chance to claim it for himself.
“What kind of supre treasure is this?”
The various Dao Ancestor incarnations were irresistibly drawn to the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar. The commotion caused by its ergence made it impossible for anyone to ignore.
Even without understanding its true nature, everyone could tell it was no ordinary treasure.
The one responsible for breaking the grand formation that had hidden the pillar was Dao Ancestor Ridge Haze, titled the Formation King. Dao Ancestor Ridge Haze was an expert in formations and had realized that the one concealing the treasure was extraordinary. Unable to glimpse inside it, he had decided to attempt a complete unraveling.
But he never imagined that breaking the formation would cause such a supre treasure to appear.
Without hesitation, he sought to seize it for himself. But the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar was connected to the earth, and its aura was intertwined with the Heaven-Splitting Sect. To take it, one would first need to sever the link between the pillar and the land, then forcefully break the fusion between its aura and the sect’s essence.
If the Heaven-Splitting Sect still existed, no incarnation of a Dao Ancestor would have had a chance of taking the pillar. However, since the sect had vanished into the mists of ti, leaving behind only a ruin, the opportunity to claim it now existed.
“Break!”
With a determined swing, Dao Ancestor Ridge Haze unleashed a powerful sword strike at the connection point between the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar and the earth.
Boom!!!
The first strike made the pillar tremble violently, but the connection wasn’t severed. At least several more strikes would be needed to cut it completely.
At that mont, the other Dao Ancestor incarnations arrived.
It was clear that they, too, desired the supre treasure.
“We first need to sever its connection with the earth and then break the fusion with the Heaven-Splitting Sect’s aura. After that, it’ll be a matter of strength—whoever takes the treasure first will keep it,” one Dao Ancestor incarnation suggested.
No one objected. After all, if the treasure remained bound to the Heaven-Splitting Sect, no amount of killing between them would secure it. Moreover, other Dao Ancestor incarnations were on their way, so wasting too much ti fighting among themselves might allow soone else to take advantage.
None of them wanted to end up empty-handed while others reaped the rewards.
More importantly, they didn’t wish to engage in needless slaughter.
If soone managed to take the treasure quickly, there would be no need for a drawn-out conflict.
“Do it!”
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Dao Ancestor incarnations launched their attacks, severing the link between the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar and the earth. They also tore apart the fusion of the pillar’s aura with the Heaven-Splitting Sect’s essence, isolating the pillar entirely.
At that mont, all the Dao Ancestor incarnations struck simultaneously, each attempting to seize the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar.
The battle erupted in full force!
One Dao Ancestor incarnation managed to partially store the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar within his internal space, but before he could secure it, several other Dao Ancestors tead up to rip apart his physical body. They forcefully shattered the link between the pillar and his internal space, shaking it free once more.
The fight grew increasingly brutal. One after another, the Dao Ancestor incarnations were injured, and none among them remained unscathed.
Ye Tian stayed at a distance, not joining the battle imdiately. If he acted too soon, the Dao Ancestor incarnations would likely team up against him.
After all, for these incarnations, this battlefield belonged to them. If a re True Monarch like Ye Tian dared to interfere, it would be seen as a provocation. Moreover, if a Dao Ancestor incarnation seized the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar, it would only prove that individual’s strength. However, if Ye Tian—a re True Monarch—managed to steal it, it would be a public humiliation to all the Dao Ancestors.
The Dao Ancestors would never allow such an affront. If Ye Tian tried to seize the treasure too early, they would inevitably target him together.
Thus, Ye Tian could only wait for the right mont to intervene.
Finding the perfect opportunity wasn’t easy, so Ye Tian continuously used the Great Divination Technique to search for the right timing.
Though this divine ability wasn’t powerful enough to match Ye Tian’s current strength and couldn’t easily predict battles between Dao Ancestor incarnations, it still yielded better results than relying on observation alone.
Suddenly.
Ye Tian pinpointed the perfect mont—and without hesitation, he made his move.
Void Shift!
Ye Tian’s figure appeared on the battlefield. With a single hand, he reached out toward the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar and imdiately unleashed the Blackwind Domain Technique. The domain enveloped the divine pillar, allowing him to pull it into his internal universe with incredible speed.
The speed of his technique far surpassed that of the Dao Ancestor incarnations.
One reason these Dao Ancestor incarnations had fought so long without storing the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar was that the process of absorbing it was too slow. Before any of them could succeed, their rivals always interrupted them.
Ye Tian’s timing was perfect. Just as all the Dao Ancestor incarnations made their moves, they couldn’t imdiately shift focus to stop him.
And that brief delay was enough—Ye Tian successfully pulled the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar into his internal universe.
“Escape!”
The mont Ye Tian secured the divine pillar, he didn’t waste a second and fled without hesitation.
Even though his strength was formidable, there was no chance of survival if these Dao Ancestor incarnations surrounded him. Activating Blood River True Body, he unleashed all his defensive techniques. He even used Trinity Unity, transforming nearly all his divine power into physical strength to maximize his body’s defense.
These precautions enhanced his survival ability to its peak.
“Courting death!”
The Dao Ancestor incarnations roared in fury.
They had fought so bitterly over this supre treasure, only for it to be stolen by a True Monarch like Ye Tian. This was a slap in the face—an open, public humiliation! It was as if he had trampled on their dignity.
Boom!
Sword light, saber light, fist shadows, and countless origin divine abilities surged toward Ye Tian.
No matter how strong Ye Tian’s defenses were, they couldn’t withstand such a concentrated assault.
In an instant, his body was pierced multiple tis, and he was nearly torn apart.
However, after Ye Tian’s strength increased, his speed had also improved significantly—far beyond what it had been before and even surpassing the speed of most Dao Ancestor incarnations present. None of the incarnations specialized in extre speed or had overwhelming power, which allowed Ye Tian to escape the battlefield just in ti.
…
Ye Tian didn’t dare slow down. He imdiately burned nearly half of his essence, qi, and spirit, pushing his speed to the limit. This enhanced the power of his Void Shift to terrifying levels, widening the gap between him and the Dao Ancestor incarnations.
As the Dao Ancestors began to prepare speed-enhancing techniques to chase after him, Ye Tian used the Blackwind Domain Technique to connect with a small domain.
His body tore through the void and descended into the small domain.
By the ti the Dao Ancestor incarnations attempted to stop him, it was already too late—they had missed their best opportunity.
Now that Ye Tian had entered the small domain, it was impossible for them to locate it, let alone enter it.
