So Spell Cards and Trap Cards spun in the hands of the magicians, then materialized, only to revert into cards again.
"Hi hi Newcors, let's test your magical power first~" A lively blonde Spellcaster girl with a magic staff guided several newcors to this dinsion.
The one and only legendary card spirit,the Dark Magician Girl.
Naturally, her master was none other than the strongest magician,Dark Magician!
At this mont, Dark Magician wore Egyptian-style priest's robes, unlike the other mages, sitting quietly in the center of a magic circle with his eyes closed. Then, as if sensing sothing, he slowly opened his eyes, looking toward a small platform far to his left.
There, a stern-faced magician was drawing a magic circle in the air with one hand while controlling a Spellbook with the other, letting its pages turn automatically.
This magician was constructing so intricate magical array.
Beside him stood another magician in heavy robes, with powerful magic circles covering his body, shoulders, and hands. He pushed his glasses up and, with a wide smile, called out to nearby spirits: "Co look, everyone! See this handso one here? That's my disciple, ow!"
The magician constructing the circle twitched with irritation yet did not stop working.
So mages who knew him approached out of curiosity, while others, who did not know this eccentric colleague, ca closer upon learning he was a top-ranked "Pentagram Magician" spirit, eager to see what his disciple was like.
Besides, the one next to him was also Aleister the Invoker, one of the most elite Spellcaster spirits.
For high-level magicians, pausing research to see such a spectacle was acceptable.
"Damn it, Banner, can't you handle this yourself?!" Aleister growled under his breath at his old friend as the crowd gathered.
"Oh, Crowley, you know I just reincarnated,I'm not familiar with this new magic stuff, ow~"

Much like in the Warriors' Realm, magicians here aid to reach the rank of "Highest Mage". However, unlike warriors, who ultimately sought the Chaos Warrior, Spellcasters valued the study of Spells and Traps, aiming to master the highest magics.
Just like the vast arsenal wielded by Dark Magician.
That said, Aleister knew,
Even though Banner only had one body, in a duel, he could convert all his alchemy into cards. That ant that despite not studying magic, he could use the world's most powerful alchemy in place of magic,the ultimate art, the Philosopher's Stone.

It then tossed out a monster card,[Spiral Serpent], Level 8, WATER, Sea Serpent.
After discarding, it drew two cards and growled again,apparently pleased with what it found.
It played another card to the field,Normal Summon,
Gasps ca from the watching mages.
It had summoned a truly fearso monster,
[Aleister the Invoker] Level 4│DARK│Spellcaster│1000 ATK.
"Aleister the Invoker!" Tierra chuckled. "Didn't expect it could wield Aleister's power."
"Indeed, Lady Winda," Battler explained from the sidelines. "All Invoked possess Master Crowley's power, so mages aspiring to reach his level often study Invoked as research subjects."
"Makes sense,Aleister's Fusion ability is absurdly strong," Tierra nodded. "Using him as a goal is reasonable."
"But,"
Hikaru cut in. "This Cocytus spirit doesn't like you much, does it? If you want it to learn and evolve, why keep irritating it?"
"That…I wouldn't know," Battler scratched his head. "I'm just a regular teacher here, not in charge of high-level summoning."
anwhile, the Water Dragon activated Aleister's effect, adding Invocation from its Deck to its hand.
The artwork showed Aleister and Cocytus together.
Without hesitation, it placed Invocation on the field.
"Invocation!" "Haven't seen that in ages!" "I've got to study it this ti!"
The chatter only seed to enrage Cocytus further,it slamd a claw down, shaking the room.
"Invocation can fuse using monsters from the field or either Graveyard as materials," Hikaru said as the watery Aleister and Spiral Serpent dissolved into foam. Cocytus roared, stepping forward.

"The Water Invoked!"
"Unaffected by targeting, immune to destruction by effects, 2900 DEF, and it can attack in Defense Position,too strong! Even Mirror Force can't kill it!"
And it wasn't done yet.
The Water Dragon waved a claw,Invocation flashed in the Graveyard, then returned to its Deck, while the banished Aleister went back to its hand.
"Invocation's ability to recycle itself and return Master Crowley to hand,it's incredible!"
"Yes,Crowley's effect makes Fusion nearly free, bringing out top-tier monsters with minimal cost."
Strong? Extrely.
"Second ti seeing this," Tierra said. "Even so, each ti feels different. Hikaru, take this as a test of your growth."
Hikaru nodded.
For so reason, he felt watched,an invasive kind of gaze, stronger than back in the Swamp Tribe.
The Water Dragon set two cards before ending its turn.
"Be careful, Lord Hikaru," Battler called. "Every Invoked is powerful,never treat them as ordinary Fusion Monsters, or you could be seriously injured! Especially with this one's unstable emotions right now!"
"It's fine,I know."
Hikaru drew a card.
