Rutz sighed, “I’m sorry, Aunt Anya, given your relationship with our clan, we would definitely help if we could.

Especially since you just helped us out.

But as you’ve already seen, our dwarf race is currently facing a crisis brought on by the beastmen.

Most of our energy has to be spent on facing the looming enemy.

Our casting masters can only focus on creating weapons in the hopes that we can fend off the next beastmen attack.”

After listening to Rutz’s explanation, Ye Yinzhu said, “Chief Rutz, I don’t think this is a solution.

The problem won’t be resolved like this.”

Rutz looked stunned before anger ignited in his eyes, “Why?” From the moment Ye Yinzhu and Anya arrived, he had been taking a dislike to Ye Yinzhu.

Ye Yinzhu’s handsomeness and elegance were qualities he lacked.

And Anya’s beauty deeply enraptured him.

From the intimacy Anya and Ye Yinzhu unintentionally showed, he could tell they were close.

Dwarves are naturally hot-tempered, and jealousy is no exception.

Therefore, he didn’t have a good impression of Ye Yinzhu.

If it weren’t for Ye Yinzhu having the Amethyst Behemoth as a panion, he wouldn’t even want to converse with him.

Ye Yinzhu said, “You already mentioned that the Beastman Clan won’t simply give up, and while Ming is powerful, he’s just one individual.

He can’t protect every dwarf.

If the beastmen e prepared next time, the dwarf race might be reduced to ashes.

Therefore, forcibly confronting them isn’t the best solution.”

Rutz’s face darkened, “Are you implying that we dwarves aren’t strong enough?”

Ye Yinzhu frowned slightly, sensing that Rutz’s mood seemed off, “Chief Rutz, please don’t misunderstand me.

When faced with a larger number of beastmen, even if you are individually strong, you can’t contend against them.

I think it would be better to temporarily relocate and avoid the beastmen.”

Rutz snorted angrily, “Pretty boy, are you saying we can’t contend with the beastmen?

Don’t think that just because you have the Amethyst Behemoth as a partner, you can boss me around here.

When I became the strongest dwarf warrior, you hadn’t even been born yet.”

“Rutz.” Ming and Anya almost simultaneously reprimanded him, with their eyes full of blame.

Ye Yinzhu’s gaze turned calm.

He didn’t bee angry because of Rutz’s rude rebuttal, but even Anya who was familiar with him didn’t know this: the calmer Ye Yinzhu appeared, the more volatile his emotions were.

This was because Qin Shang had taught him that when facing an enemy, you must remain in the calmest state.

“Chief Rutz, are you saying I’m looking down on your dwarf race?

That’s right, I’m telling you that you dwarves are far from being a match for the beastmen.

Maybe during the prime of the dwarf race, you could pete with beastmen, but now, you can’t.

Even your greatest reliance, Ming, is a member of the beastman tribe – a mountain giant who bears the title of Thunder Behemoth Sovereign among the Four Sacred Beasts.

If you intend to lead the dwarves towards prosperity and restore former glory, your confrontational approach is exactly what you should avoid.

” Ye Yinzhu’s words also became less polite.

“Enough, I don’t need you telling me what to do.” Rutz stepped forward, looking up at Ye Yinzhu.

His fists clenching tightly, making creaking noises.

In fact, he knew that Ye Yinzhu was in the right, but for some reason he found it hard to accept these truths ing from Ye Yinzhu’s mouth.

Ye Yinzhu raised his hand to stop Anya, who wanted to speak, and calmly said, “In that case, I wonder if Chief Rutz dares to make a bet with me.”

Rutz growled, “Bet on what?”

Ye Yinzhu smiled faintly, “I am far from as strong as a beastman from the Solomon Tribe.

But I believe, you’re even no match for me.

Here’s the deal, if Chief Rutz can defeat me with ten clansmen, it will prove you have the strength to pete with the beastmen.

If you win, Sister Anya and I will stay and unconditionally help you resist the beastmen.

If you lose, you must follow our advice, lead the dwarves to evacuate from here, even if it’s temporary, and you must also agree to help us forge something.”

“What did you say?” His inner flame ignited.

Rutz glared at Ye Yinzhu, his eyes gradually turning blood red.

Anya thought, this isn’t good.

She had warned Ye Yinzhu to be careful not to offend the fragile pride of the dwarves.

But why was he still so impulsive?

Betting is one thing, but why did he have to ask Rutz to bring ten clansmen?

This unfair betting condition could be seen as an insult to the dwarves.

Ye Yinzhu calmly said, “I’m saying, even if you have ten people, you definitely can’t defeat me.”

Rutz roared angrily, his fist slicing through the air towards Ye Yinzhu.

Not only was he incredibly fast, but his power was also astonishingly great.

A strange thing happened, Ye Yinzhu seemed unfazed as Rutz’s fist passed through him without hitting anything solid.

Only Anya saw Ye Yinzhu’s move clearly.

In an instant, his upper body leaned back just enough to dodge Rutz’s attack.

“Chief Rutzy, is this how you treat your guests?

Or are you so afraid of losing to me that you can’t bring yourself to wager?” Ye Yinzhu’s voice rang out, tinged with a hint of irony.

Rutzy was taken aback when his punch didn’t hit Ye Yinzhu, he had always been tremendously proud of his speed.

Although he had suspected Ye Yinzhu’s formidable strength, he never anticipated him possessing a speed outmatching his own.

“Fine, I accept your gamble.

But, we fight alone in a one-on-one duel.” Rutzy almost roared out, willing to accept this bet, for the sake of dwarven honor.

Ye Yinzhu responded to this with a serene smile, “So what’s the wager?”

Rutzy snorted in contempt, “Just as you proposed earlier.”

Ye Yinzhu nodded, “Alright, now, Chief, you can rest.

You’ve fought a battle not long ago, peting now would be unfair to both of us.

After two hours, our bet will begin.”

Rutzy was stiff for a moment before he quickly grasped that Ye Yinzhu didn’t want to hold an unfair advantage.

This should have been a mark of respect, but Rutzy, misunderstanding his intent, construed it as false modesty.

Not another word was uttered as Rutzy cast a vehement glance at Ye Yinzhu as he retreated to rest.

As a clan leader, he knew better than to act on impulse.

If there was a bet, he was determined to fight for victory.

Ye Yinzhu watched Rutzy sitting cross-legged on the ground with a meaningful smile on his face.

“Oh Yinzhu, why do you insist on plicating things like this?” Anya approached Ye Yinzhu, reprimanding him somewhat.

Ye Yinzhu grinned back, “This is for the sake of Qin City and also for the dwarf clan.

I can see that Rutzy perhaps isn’t really opposed to my proposal but for some reason, he seems to have a grudge against me.

The dwarves may be impulsive and temperamental, but I believe that they are a people of honour.”

Anya rolled her eyes at him, “Are you so confident that you can defeat Rutzy?

Rutzy’s father has boasted to me on more than one occasion about how Rutzy is a war prodigy among the dwarves.

His talent in casting might not be high, but no one can match his bat prowess.

He is a true powerful hill dwarf.

Furthermore, his relationship with Ming should be similar to yours with Zi.

He must have borrowed some of Ming’s strength.

You cannot pete with his defenses.”

Ye Yinzhu smiled but said nothing.

Ming sat on the ground, his attention never swaying from Ye Yinzhu.

Seeing Ye Yinzhu’s smile, he secretly gave a nod.

The humans’ wisdom indeed surpassed the dwarves.

This youth known as Ye Yinzhu harbored no ill-intent, and it seemed his power was remarkably formidable.

The Zither Emperor, just now that Amethyst Behemoth had addressed him as the Zither Emperor.

What was the mystery behind this?

The Mountain Giant, typically in deep slumber, obviously had no knowledge of the existence of the occupation of a Divine Music Master in human magic.

Ye Yinzhu walked to a corner, seated himself cross-legged on the ground.

His words may have e across as trivial, but he seldom underestimated his opponents.

Oliveira had once taught him to despise the enemy in strategy, but never in tactics.

Although he did not witness the battle between Rutzy and Golden Behemoth Oliver, he would definitely not underestimate this Dwarf King.

Two hours in cultivation passed quickly.

At least for the Mountain Giant Ming, it was equivalent to a brief nap.

Rutzy sprung up from the ground while Ye Yinzhu simultaneously opened his bright eyes.

Rutzy reached out to grab the Eight-sided Plum Blossom Silver Hammer by his side, pointing it at Ye Yinzhu, “Follow me.” As he spoke, he stooped down and bursting forward.

Ye Yinzhu signaled to Anya and Ming before rising to his feet to follow.

His movements appeared sluggish, but he didn’t fall behind Rutzy at all.

Ming was a tad slow, Anya didn’t hurry either.

Though she didn’t know how formidable Ye Yinzhu currently was, she believed he was a logical person and would only challenge Rutzy if he was absolutely certain he could win.

Under Rutzy’s lead, they left the cave and rushed straight to the outskirts of the hill.

Rutzy evidently had no intentions of fighting Ye Yinzhu near the dwarves’ tribe.

With Rutzy leading with his Star Jump-like speed, the group of four quickly left the hill area, passed through the forest, and arrived at the broad plains – a mon sight in the Northernmost Wilderness.
