The mages present immediately noticed that Aubrey’s chanting was very different from their own, possessing an unusual rhythm.
It seemed slow at first listen, but each somewhat muddled note seamlessly connected, making it impossible to distinguish the individual tones.
As Aubrey began his chant, the differing chanting voices of the other six Tower Masters also followed in succession.
The second to begin was not the Master of the Dark Tower, Sloan, but rather the Master of the Wind Tower, Devon Casey, who had remained silent from the start at the Starlight Platform till now.
A surprising scene unfolded, as there were no magical glows emanating from the bodies of Aubrey and the other five Tower Masters due to their chanting.
Only the Master of the Wind Tower, Devon Casey, after starting his chant, released a dazzling milky white light that spread from his body.
It was not Zi rank.
Surprisingly, it was not the Ninth Rank Zi rank that everyone had imagined.
After a brief moment of astonishment, the envoys from the various nations realized a problem.
Given that it was white and not Zi rank, what did that mean?
Naturally, the Masters of Faran’s Seventh Tower would not break the Rainbow Rules.
In other words, the magic power released by the Master of the Wind Tower, Devon Casey, had already surpassed the bounds of the Zi rank.
The chant of Devon Casey was not particularly long.
When he finished his chant, the other six Tower Masters were still continuing theirs.
Ye Yinzhu was curious as to what kind of magic required such a lengthy chant.
Such a chant was meaningless in actual bat.
Just as he was guessing to himself, the milky white light released by the Master of the Wind Tower, Devon Casey, had already soared into the sky.
The white light converged in the sky, forming the shape of the most basic low-level Wind attribute magic, Wind Blade, only this Wind Blade was terrifyingly large, its width extending infinitely, with a faint azure luster hidden within the milky white light.
Devon Casey pleted the last line of his chant, which everyone clearly heard, “Go forth, Wind God Slash.”
The still-expanding white Wind Blade in the sky instantly activated.
No one saw its trajectory; they only felt a flash of white light suddenly bee a beam of light, which, in the blink of an eye, vanished with its release.
The vanishing direction was right where Tower Master Aubrey had pointed out earlier—halfway up the mountain peak.
What had he done?
The answer was quickly revealed.
A smooth white light appeared halfway up the mountain peak, and following that, amidst rumbling roars, the top half of the mountain peak began to teeter as if it were about to topple.
Oh heavens!
Praise Falan.
The magic unleashed by the Master of the Wind Tower, Devon Casey, had actually sliced such a massive mountain in half at its midsection.
Without fancy light or imposing scenes, the seemingly enlarged version of the Wind Blade magic had instantaneously achieved an effect that even a Forbidden Curse couldn’t possibly acplish.
The second to plete his chant was the Master of the Dark Tower, Sloan.
From his raised right hand, an innocuous white orb of light floated upward, containing faint black currents.
The light orb entered the bisected mountain half, and the next moment—despite the great distance—all of the more than three thousand five hundred people from the Seven Dragon Cities could clearly see huge cracks forming on that cleaved mountain half.
Tower Master Aubrey’s face revealed a faint smile.
With a wave of his hands, a ring of white light soared upward, quickly reaching the mountain’s summit.
Just as that half of the mountain was about to fall due to the fissures, suddenly, a tremendous suction force emanated from the ring of light that had expanded to nearly envelop the mountain’s summit.
Huge stones visibly lifted into the air and directly disappeared into the ring of light.
The white ring of light, shimmering softly, now resembled an insatiable maw of consumption.
The broken mountain flew against the pull of gravity, vanishing into the light.
Around the ring, the air twisted in ripples.
In just a short while, the halved mountain top had pletely disappeared without a trace, not even a single pebble falling from its heights.
Tower Master Aubrey had not used his most adept Light Magic, but rather Spatial Magic.
Leveraging his formidable magic power, he literally tore space apart in a circular form, forcibly absorbing those shattered stones.
This was the truly world-shattering power of a mage!
The battlefield for the Seven Nations, Seven Dragons rankings battle had, in a mere quarter of an hour, transformed from a high mountain to a remnant hill cut in half.
One could fully envisage that the mountaintop’s severed plane was absolutely smooth, as if it were a vast platform built for dueling.
Ye Yinzhu drew a sharp breath.
Carving the mountain to create a platform, was the battleground for the Seven Nations, Seven Dragons rankings battle truly to take place atop this carved mountain?
The seven Tower Lords of Faran had once again demonstrated Faran’s might with their strength.
At that moment, amongst the three thousand five hundred warriors, countless were silently exclaiming those four words in their hearts, Praise Falan.
Aubrey, Sloan, and Devon Casey appeared as if they had done nothing out of the ordinary, and their chants did not cease.
How could the battlefield for the Seven Nations, Seven Dragons rankings battle be merely slicing a mountain to create a platform?
Tower Master Aubrey called out loudly, “Tower of Light, heed my call and bestow upon me the greatest power of the God of Light.”
Immediately following him, the six Tower Masters, in the order of Darkness, Spirit, Water, Fire, Earth, and Wind, issued their calls to the respective towers of Falan they governed.
“Tower of Darkness, heed my call and bestow upon me the greatest power of the Demon God.”
“Soul Tower, heed my call and bestow upon me the greatest power of Heaven’s God.”
“Tower of Water, heed my call and bestow upon me the greatest power of the Water God.”
“Tower of Fire, heed my call and bestow upon me the greatest power of the Fire God.”
“Tower of Earth, heed my call and bestow upon me the greatest power of the Earth God.”
“Tower of Wind, heed my call and bestow upon me the greatest power of the Wind God.”
Holding their breath, everyone’s gaze filled with additional fear, even someone as resolute as Ye Yinzhu was no exception.
The seemingly simple spell of the three Tower Masters had caused half a mountain to disappear, and now, with seven Tower Masters summoning the power of the gods simultaneously, just how powerful would the magic they unleashed be?
Unimaginable was the only word that echoed in Ye Yinzhu’s mind.
Seven beams of light almost simultaneously descended from the tips of Faran’s Seven Towers, enveloping the bodies of the seven Tower Masters.
Then, the figure of each Tower Master spun around, and with Aubrey at the center, the other six arrayed themselves in positions that just corresponded to the points of a Magic Hexagram.
Bathed in the light emanating from Faran’s Seven Towers, they spread their arms wide, and a super magic formation was on the verge of pletion.
Witnessing the scene before him, Ye Yinzhu couldn’t help but recall the moment in the Core Ice Circle of the Northernmost Wilderness Ice Forest when he and Zi and the others battled the War Behemoth Glacis.
At the last moment, he had forcefully unleashed the Super Divine Artefact Deadwood Dragon Chanting Zither, the seven Forbidden Curses manifesting merely to intimidate, which looked strikingly similar to the scene before him.
Ye Yinzhu was certain that any spell cast by any of these seven Tower Masters at this moment could not be matched by a mere ordinary Forbidden Curse.
That’s right, they must have already broken through the boundary of the Zi Rank.
There are masters beyond masters; indeed, the peak of Mages was not so simple as the Zi Rank!
All magical elements in the air had vanished; even in Falan, a place with a much richer magical element than the outside world, it had bee a vacuum of mana.
The reason was simple: at that very moment, all magical elements in the entirety of Falan were being forcibly drained by the seven Tower Masters using the power of Faran’s Seven Towers.
What were they trying to do?
What exactly were they planning to achieve by jointly releasing such a powerful spell before the Rank-Battle of the Seven Kingdoms, Seven Dragons?
Surely, the destruction of an entire mountain didn’t require the bined efforts of seven.
Every person’s heartbeat accelerated.
Although the Seven Tower Masters of Faran’s Seven Towers didn’t exert any pressure on them as they cast their spells, a heavy weight nonetheless pressed on everyone’s hearts.
A rainbow light shot up into the sky, tracing a beautiful arc, and following the solemn guidance of Aubrey, this colorful rainbow landed directly onto the mountaintop platform that was cut in half.
There was no roaring explosion as one might imagine.
In the next moment, acpanied by the plete outpouring of the rainbow light from the seven Tower Masters, the top of the half-severed mountain instantly turned into a dazzling light orb.
The seven colors continued to flicker, dazzling even during the daytime with their magical hues.
Aubrey appeared somewhat weary, his voice also grew deeper, “This is your battlefield.
Simply put, it is a magic formation, one we seven have jointly arranged.
Everything you encounter within will be illusions made of elements, but since they are also posed of elements, you can treat these illusions as real.
It’s a brand-new world, yours to explore and exert effort in.
Remember the incantation, when you want to leave the battlefield, ‘Falan’ will bring you back here.
Go now, warriors of the Seven Dragon Cities of the Seven Kingdoms, and good luck.”
The light atop the Tower of Light shined anew, this time the golden glow not only enveloping Aubrey alone but extending over all the more than three thousand five hundred people from the Seven Dragon Cities of the Seven Kingdoms.
The air distorted, huge golden symbols flashing before people’s eyes.
