Now reading: Chapter 853 Chapter 272 Ye Yinzhu's Ruthlessness Part 2 from Zither Emperor, a Xuanhuan novel by Tang Jia San Shao.

853: Chapter 272 Ye Yinzhu’s “Ruthlessness” (Part 2) 853: Chapter 272 Ye Yinzhu’s “Ruthlessness” (Part 2) The clearer the extent of An Qi’s injuries were inspected, the more fear filled the heart of the female Elf Clan Elder.

The Zither Emperor, who appeared so noble and handsome, had been decisive in his actions, even when it meant striking down the wife of his best brother.

If this was how he treated his own kin and panions, what would he do to an enemy?

Dependent on Qin City, the Elves dared not truly offend Ye Yinzhu, let alone An Qi’s life and death which were now tied to Zi and their present Queen.

Despite some reluctance in their hearts, the Elf Clan Elders ultimately conceded.

When Zi handed the three strands of hair that had been infused with his Amethyst Power and turned into needles to Sister Anya, signifying his agreement to the three conditions, the storm finally came to an end.

Using a bination of soft and hard tactics, Ye Yinzhu finally made the Elf Elders relent.

They jointly announced that henceforth, all of An Qi’s misdeeds were forgiven due to her merits to the Elf Tribe, as well as the punishment she had suffered, restoring her status to that of a mon Elf.

After the Elf Clan Elders left, because of An Qi’s former status as a sinner, she couldn’t enter the Ancient Tree.

Zi carried An Qi, and Ye Yinzhu, along with his two wives and Sister Anya, six people in total, wordlessly made their way to Ye Yinzhu’s Lord’s Mansion in Qin City.

“I’m sorry, Zi,” Ye Yinzhu’s face finally relaxed once he was back in his own domain, a hint of remorse in his eyes.

Zi shook his head and sighed, “You did the right thing.

This is probably the best oute for An Qi.

Even if you hadn’t done that, I would have prepared to do the same.”

Ye Yinzhu, of course, knew what Zi had considered doing at that time.

He said with a wry smile, “Zi, have you thought about how An Qi felt at that time?

If you really tried to atone for her sins by cutting yourself with three slashes and six holes to lessen her guilt to the Elves, it would have only made her suffer more.

Love blinds us at times, and you were not usually so impulsive.

It’s best that I play the villain.

Even if sister-in-law wakes up grieving over the loss of her abilities, she’ll only hate me, and it won’t affect your marital relationship.”

Listening to Ye Yinzhu’s faint blame in his tone, Zi slowly lowered his head, looking at An Qi, who still had a furrowed brow in his arms, and sighed, “Perhaps it is really a case of love blinding.”

Ye Yinzhu had Zi lay An Qi on the bed, and a series of purple glows began to appear between his fingers, like dancing purple sprites, continually landing on An Qi before rising again.

The energy surrounding An Qi’s body, like water ripples, coupled with the strong power and the Life Energy contained within the Zi Zhu Magic Needle, quickly reconnected the meridians in her broken limbs.

The injuries were inflicted by his own hands, and so he was most familiar with them.

His palms hadn’t even touched An Qi’s skin.

In just half an hour, he had pleted everything.

Green Silk released a crystalline green light under Ye Yinzhu’s energy activation, emitting a soft and pure Life Energy.

With Ye Yinzhu’s deliberate guidance, it flowed into the injured parts of An Qi’s body, where the broken meridians miraculously began to grow.

With a soft moan, An Qi slowly came to from her unconscious state.

What she first felt was warmth.

Ye Yinzhu’s slap had given her a taste of instantaneous pain, with the meridians in all her limbs severed, and the Magic and Douqi she had cultivated over many years pletely dispersed by that slap.

At that moment, An Qi’s feelings were strange; she did not feel any sense of loss from the disappearance of her strength, but rather a sense of sheer relief filled her heart.

Was it over?

Was everything really over?

“Am I, am I dead?” An Qi murmured to herself.

Ye Yinzhu chuckled, “Of course not.

If I killed you with one slap, Zi would probably e at me with everything he’s got.”

It was then that An Qi gradually made out the other people in the room, seeing Ye Yinzhu first and then Zi’s concerned and somewhat anxious face.

Being intelligent enough to bee the Elf Queen, An Qi quickly had her thoughts straightened out.

She also found that her limbs, which should have been immobile, seemed as intact as ever.

Except for the absence of Douqi and Magic within her, she felt no different from an ordinary Elf.

Slowly sitting up, An Qi’s expression changed constantly, and suddenly, with all her might, she threw herself into Zi’s embrace, crying out loud.

Zi wanted to fort her, but saw Ye Yinzhu shake his head at him.

An Qi’s tears were the best release for everything she had done before.

It was also the best solution.

Sister Anya let out a sigh of relief.

The issue that had been worrying her all this time had finally been resolved.

Looking at Ye Yinzhu standing there with a slight smile, her heart was filled with joy, “Yin Zhu.”

“Hmm?”

“Thank you for helping them, and for helping me.”

Ye Yinzhu smiled and said, “Sister Anya, do we still need to say ‘thank you’ between us?

When have you ever seen Zi thank me?

It’s all as it should be.”

While they were conversing, An Qi’s sobs ceased, and suddenly, An Qi broke away from Zi’s embrace and knelt down towards Ye Yinzhu.

Though Ye Yinzhu could not see, his Unity of Heaven and Man sensing ability was quick to react.

Startled, he dodged swiftly, “Sister-in-law, what are you doing?”

Though tears still glistened on An Qi’s delicate face, her expression was nearly one of devout sanctity, “Yinzhu, this bow is to thank you for giving me a new life, and also for stopping Zi from doing something foolish.

Alas, I no longer have the ability to help you.

Zi is right; he is lucky to have a brother like you, and I am proud of him for it.”

As she spoke these words, An Qi’s eyes reddened again.

Sura and Haiyang, who were behind Ye Yinzhu, quickly stepped forward and helped An Qi to rise.

Standing aside, Anya laughed and said, “Sister, who says you have no chance to repay Yinzhu?

Actually, it’s quite simple.”

An Qi was stunned, “But, I no longer have any power!”

Anya chuckled and said, “But you still have your woman’s instincts!

When Yinzhu, Sura, and Haiyang have children in the future, and you and your husband have yours, let your children repay Yinzhu’s kindness.”

No matter how valiant the former Elf Queen An Qi had been, she couldn’t help but blush at Anya’s words and turned to plunge into Zi’s embrace, while Haiyang and Sura also blushed.

Ye Yinzhu, holding their hands, wore a face full of happiness.

“Does this count as a betrothal of the children?” Ye Yinzhu joked with Zi, unable to suppress his laughter.

Zi laughed as well, with a light-hearted smile, yet he put on a fierce facade and gestured towards Ye Yinzhu with his substantially large fist, “What?

You dare to disagree?”

“Dare not, of course, dare not.” Ye Yinzhu feigned fear, and as the two brothers looked at each other, they couldn’t help but burst into great laughter together, their heartfelt joy and happiness thoroughly released.

True love had led to happy unions; Ye Yinzhu had preserved Qin City, and Zi had fulfilled his wish to bee the true leader of the Beastmen.

Everything was in such harmony.

But their story was not over, or rather, a brand-new chapter was just beginning.

The next day, two pieces of news arrived simultaneously, one at Holy Light City and the other at Thor Hammer Fortress.

Zi received a letter from Bear King Adonis, which contained a simple message, “Long live Emperor Zi, your humble servant Adonis.” The messenger who delivered the letter informed Zi that Solomon Fortress had ceased all military actions against Ascoli Kingdom.

After handling affairs within his clan, Adonis would personally e to Thor Hammer Fortress within half a month to announce Solomon’s allegiance.

The unification of the Beastman’s World in the Northernmost Wilderness had finally begun.

Upon receiving the news of Adonis’s allegiance, Zi sent the other two Behemoth Kings and Dragon Lion Nuo Yun, with the exception of elder brother Santos who was heading to War God Tribe, leading large armies with the Amethyst Legion’s original forces at their core, to venture deep into the heart of the Northernmost Wilderness to start the final unification process.

This process, which wouldn’t even involve warfare, merely required time.

Spring had arrived in the Northernmost Wilderness, so would the warmth of summer be far off?

Everything was moving towards the best possible direction.

Meanwhile, Holy Light City also received an edict from the Milan Empire, delivered by none other than Prince Feschera of the Milan Empire.

Feschera first expressed his condolences and brought a generous reward to Oliveira and the warriors of the Northern Legion of Holy Light City.

He also conveyed Emperor Silvio’s condolences for the extensive casualties of the Zi Luolan Family.

Feschera personally knelt before the tomb of the Martin brothers, expressing on behalf of his father the deepest respects to the late Marshal.

The hereditary dukedom of the Zi Luolan Family was elevated to that of Prince, an unchangeable hereditary title.

Oliveira became the first, as well as the first non-native Prince in the history of the Milan Empire.

Succeeding Marshal Martin’s position, Oliveira would mand the Northern Legion, taking the glory of the Zi Luolan Family to an even higher peak instead of diminishing it due to Martin’s death.

Oliveira declined Feschera’s suggestion to move the Martin family’s remains, because he understood his grandfather too well.

As a soldier who had fought in these battlefields for decades, what Martin wished most was to eternally guard this land of Milan.

Even in death, he would forever watch over this land from his tomb.

Regarding Qin City, Feschera also expressed Emperor Silvio’s respect and stated that the Milan Empire would fully ply with the recent suggestions made by Faran, initiating equal trade with the Beastman Clan.

In addition, it was officially announced that relations would be established with Qin City, forming an alliance.
