941: Chapter 300: Imperial Demon Territory (Part 1) 941: Chapter 300: Imperial Demon Territory (Part 1) Gao Suba brought Ye Yinzhu information far more extensive than what Witch Havanna had provided.
With a status like Gao Suba’s in the Abyssal Plane, he was considered extremely high-ranking.
Through scanning his memory, Ye Yinzhu had basically mastered the distribution of territories within the Black Demon Country, which was somewhat different from what he had anticipated.
The four countries of the Abyssal Plane were not as harmonious as he thought, and while large-scale wars were unlikely to break out, small-scale battles were still mon.
Furthermore, the constraints on Abyssal Creatures like Gao Suba, who were high-rank Abyss Beings, were not as effective as one might think.
Otherwise, he would not have easily killed a great witch from the Blue Witch Country.
Black Demon Country had many territories, amounting to over three hundred, each governed by different lords.
Over half of these lords came from the Witch Clan, while the rest were strong individuals from various races.
That’s why Gao Suba had previously mentioned that the Black Demon Country was a time for female witches.
The situation in another powerful Abyss Nation, the Blue Witch Country, was quite the opposite; there, the status of male witches was higher.
Ye Yinzhu also miscalculated the strength of the Deep Demons.
Although the Black Demon Country was the strongest of the four nations, its Abyssal Demon King was not the strongest among the Four Great Demon Kings.
It was the Abyssal Demon King of the Blue Witch Country who was recognized as the strongest in the Abyssal Plane, and the reason Blue Witch Country ranked behind Black Demon Country was due to an inherent weakness of male witches against female witches—the existence of the Anti-magic Shield was key.
In the Black Demon Country’s more than three hundred territories, there were over two hundred thousand high-rank Abyss Beings.
‘High-rank’ referred to those with abilities above Blue rank.
Two-headed Abominations would normally fall into this category too, but because their intelligence was difficult to evolve, even with their considerable strength, they had a lower status.
The more than three hundred territories each had their own lord, the true ruler of the land.
The first criterion to being a lord was to be a high-rank Abyss Being, and secondly, one must possess sufficient wisdom and strength.
The stronger the ability, the greater the likelihood of being a lord.
Gao Suba was the lord of this territory, and normally, lords of territories closer to the Emperor’s Domain should be more powerful.
Unfortunately, Gao Suba was a male witch, not a female witch, so even though his power was stronger than most lords, he still could not enter the core power circle of the Black Demon Country.
He held only the title of Lord of Witch.
In Blue Witch Country and Black Demon Country, apart from the Abyssal Demon Kings, there were twelve strong individuals assisting the Demon Kings in managing the countries.
Since the Abyssal Demon Kings seldom appeared in the outside world, the true managers of the countries should be these powerful Abyss Beings.
The twelve in Blue Witch Country were the twelve Lords of Witch previously mentioned by the great witch, while in Black Demon Country, they were the Twelve Demon Kings.
Though Gao Suba had the strength of a Lord of Witch, based on his own memories, he still fell short of the twelve Lords of Witch in Blue Witch Country.
These Lords were ranked according to their power, and the higher the rank, the stronger they were.
Even the Lord of Witch ranked twelfth was at least slightly stronger than Gao Suba.
Naturally, the Twelve Queen Demon Mothers of Black Demon Country were not much different.
The other two Abyss Nations had a management system that wasn’t much different, except the number of powerful beings managing the nations was not twelve but eight, referred to as the Shadow Demons of Shadow Country and the Moon Demons of Zi Yue Country.
These forty powerful beings, just below the Abyssal Demon Kings, controlled the entire system of the Abyssal World, collectively known as Abyss Demon Masters.
Gao Suba was a dispirited lord because as a male witch, he found it difficult to achieve a higher status in the Black Demon Country.
Thus, despite his not weak strength, he still couldn’t breach the core circle.
The meeting to be convened by the Emperor’s Domain was an annual event for all the Abyss Nations.
At that time, the lords of each country would gather at the Emperor’s Domain to heed the mands and teachings of the Abyss Demon Masters.
This information was undeniably advantageous for Ye Yinzhu and Little Dragon Lady, as it presented an excellent opportunity to venture to the Imperial Demon Territory of Black Demon Country and uncover the truth.
An Abyssal year in the Abyssal Plane was roughly equivalent to a year and a half on the Ryuzakinus Continent.
Exactly how this calculation was derived is unknown; it seemed to have existed since the appearance of the Abyssal Plane, so even Gao Suba didn’t know.
To participate in the yearly meeting of the Abyssal Plane, one could only bring two attendants, a strict rule.
Bringing more than two attendants would be seen as an act of hostility towards the nation, and the fate of enemies was to bee food.
“Let’s go check out my mount,” Ye Yinzhu said with a smile to Little Dragon Lady as he pulled open the heavy stone door.
During the previous process, he had not only scanned Gao Suba’s memories but also memorized some of Gao Suba’s habits to avoid being detected.
And traveling to the Emperor’s Domain, the lords of other territories would not be too familiar with Gao Suba, so he was even less worried about being recognized.
“Mount?” Little Dragon Lady was momentarily puzzled, as Havanna’s memories contained no information about Gao Suba having a mount.
Ye Yinzhu explained telepathically to Little Dragon Lady, “In Gao Suba’s memory, Havanna was merely one of his playthings within this territory, albeit a relatively favored one.
But his mount is Gao Suba’s greatest secret, as well as the secret of the lords of each nation.
Generally, they wouldn’t let their subordinates know about it, especially the strength of their mounts.
Perhaps you would find it hard to imagine that Gao Suba’s mount could be even stronger than him.”
Stepping out of the stone house once again, how could the Abyssal Creatures of this territory suspect that their lord had been replaced by another person?
The reason Little Dragon Lady chose not to go with that male witch from Blue Witch Country and instead waited was because her memory included the presence of a powerful being like Gao Suba.
All Abyssal Creatures respectfully lowered their heads and backed away upon seeing Gao Suba, their bodies trembling with fear.
As a lord of the Abyss, he could choose his food from his territory daily.
Although limited to three in number, there was no restriction on species.
No one dared to provoke this lord, not even daring to approach him, fearing they might bee his next meal.
Ye Yinzhu, acpanied by the Little Dragon Lady, quickly arrived at a solitary hill on the edge of the territory of Gao Suba by accessing his memories.
Around this range of hills, more than a dozen Abominations led over a thousand Ghouls and Wicked Scythes standing guard.
Upon seeing Gao Suba, these Abyssal Creatures hurriedly cleared a path, revealing a gigantic cave.
The cave’s entrance was over thirty meters in diameter.
To put it into perspective, even a War Behemoth like Glacis with an enormous body could barely squeeze through such an entrance.
The Little Dragon Lady was now quite curious about what Gao Suba’s mount might be.
Her curiosity was quickly satisfied, and not just hers.
When Ye Yinzhu actually laid eyes on the behemoth before him, he opened his mouth in shock.
What appeared before them was an unusually gigantic figure.
As the two entered the cave and felt the chilling stench filling the air, they couldn’t help but bee more cautious.
The fact that two Sub-God rank powerhouses were on alert was a testament to how formidable the master of this cave was.
The first thing they saw were the ghostly blue flames—yes, flames.
A special type of flame filled with Dark Element and Fire element.
In all the Abyssal flames that Ye Yinzhu and the Little Dragon Lady had seen, nearly all were dark red—the standard color when Dark Element fused with Fire Element.
However, the flames they were seeing now had undergone a fundamental change in color and didn’t give off the slightest heat.
Instead, they were eerily cold.
Dark blue flames clung to the body of the gigantic monster, which looked somewhat like the Dragon Bones Ye Yinzhu controlled in the Dragon Domain.
Except, this creature was even larger than the Dragon Bones and, unlike them, had blue bones.
The enormous body lay sprawled on the ground, its bones interlaced with ascending dark blue flames.
Ye Yinzhu clearly felt a tight connection between Gao Suba’s spirit and this gigantic monster.
The beast showed no hostility toward their arrival.
The Little Dragon Lady’s expression grew solemn, “This is Sunless Fire.
Lesser Yin represents the extreme of Yin fire, while Sunless Fire is something that surpasses the extreme.
According to the proverb ‘the greater the extremity, the greater the reversal,’ fire of this level is no longer fire.”
Ye Yinzhu was startled, exclaiming, “Could it be ice?”
The Little Dragon Lady silently nodded, “This creature’s strength is even greater than you imagine.
It may not possess as many abilities as those lizards in our world, but the Death Energy it holds is stronger and purer than any Abyssal Creature we’ve seen before.
Indeed, it’s more powerful than the Gao Suba you’ve possessed, almost parable to a Zi rank Demonic Beast of rank Nine from our world.”
“Should we call it a Yin Dragon then?” Ye Yinzhu asked.
The Little Dragon Lady gave him a displeased look, “Should any creature just be called a dragon?
Haven’t you noticed it looks more like a lizard?
In Gao Suba’s memories, how is this creature’s intelligence?”
Ye Yinzhu said with a wry smile, “You’re a Divine Dragon; let’s not quibble over these details.
Calling it a Yin Dragon is more intuitive, and it will make explanations easier when we return.
Although it looks formidable, its intelligence is astonishingly low—not at all like the rank Nine Beasts from our world.
Otherwise, Gao Suba wouldn’t have been able to make it a mount.”
