Now reading: Chapter 725: Yiming’s Feuds from Zombie Apocalypse: Creation, a Action novel by IPI.

There were endless problems just on the very first day of Yiming being pushed to be the commander of Hunan.

The original army ant for holding the north was gone. Tens of thousands of soldier just deserted their position and headed north with no explanation.

No one was left to replace them. All of the civilians left behind in the countryside were now under threat from a potential zombie outbreak.

Sohow, this wasn’t even the worst news that we faced. As early as Saturday morning, we received the news that the army in Liling city had gone rogue.

By ’rogue’, it really ant they all switched sides. The bulk of Zhongxiong’s army that had been holding off Jiangxi’s n had joined their enemy’s ranks.

The entire road to Changsha was completely opened. Essentially, Zhongxiong had left a problem that’s impossible to salvage.

By the evening, we started to be surrounded by their forces. I realized this was a ss that we are nowhere near equipped to deal with.

I told Yiming personally that we should all just retreat to Luoping with everything we got and let the locals deal with the ss.

There was just no way for us to stop the advancing army from Jiangxi. Every single post that was ant to stop them had already surrendered.

Yet, Yiming’s stubborn ass kept refusing my request.

He said he wasn’t about to abandon his n. The only ’solution’ he could co up with was gambling that Jiangxi’s army wouldn’t advance any further.

It worked initially as Jiangxi’s army halted its advances right at the doorstep of Changsha. Not any closer, not any further.

The people who switched sides knew what kind of weapons they were dealing with. They knew the missiles that Yiming now possessed.

---

"So it’s a stalemate?" Xiaoyun questioned, as it sounded exactly like what Houqin was describing.

"Yes, but they had Changsha surrounded at this point. No one could go in, and can only co out if they surrender.

They wanted Yiming to hand over the weapon as the condition for him and his army to leave in peace."

"He’s never doing that."

"Exactly, there’s no way he’s going to hand over the only chip. But the thing is, ti is not on Yiming’s side.

There’s almost zero food in the city ever since they laid siege to the city. I’m not even sure how long they could last.

I’m scared that Yiming might get desperate to the point of suiciding with them, or if those traitors get too impatient and rush in anyway."

Hearing Houqin’s explanation, Xiaoyun was concerned and a little confused at the sa ti, as he couldn’t understand the background.

More specifically, he couldn’t understand how this whole conflict even started. Why did Zhongxiong and Jiangxi’s n co into conflict?

It just didn’t make sense to him that Zhongxiong’s n would suddenly side with their enemy, a conflict he had known ever since he heard of Zhongxiong’s n.

"Houqin, how did you get out then?" Wuli curiously asked.

"I... I left when nobody was looking for . I didn’t want to die, and I thought maybe I could call for reinforcent.

But then, a bunch of bandits happened to notice driving out of Changsha, and they managed to kidnap and put into a hotel."

"They didn’t abuse you or anything, right?"

Wuli asked again, her voice sounding a little concerned as neither of them had told her about that story earlier.

"I was fine. They didn’t harass when I told them I was a diplomat from Luoping. But they wanted to get so more guns before heading west."

"West?"

As Xiaoyun thought back to a map, he quickly realized he was never going to catch those bandits, let alone know about them, in the mountains of Guizhou province.

"Xiaoyun, you paid the extortion fee?"

Wuli questioned. Her mind quickly connected the dots on how Houqin ca to be trapped and bitten by a zombie from the context.

"Yeah... It’s just guns that can always be made again. Houqin, why didn’t Yiming want you to call for reinforcent?"

Xiaoyun asked, as he could vividly rember that every single response Yiming had sent back was that everything was fine and the negotiation was still ongoing.

It was clear Yiming had lied to him for so reason and that Houqin herself might not even be made aware of his letter’s existence.

"I don’t know... He never let see the letter you sent to us a single ti. Maybe because it’s his ego?"

"Ego?"

Wuli and Xiaoyun both murmured in a surprised tone. They both had worked with Yiming for years now and never saw him as an egotistic person.

"I think he just didn’t want to drag you into this ss that he had created himself." Houqin quietly answered.

"That can’t be the full truth... Houqin, there has to be more to this story, right?" Xiaoyun pressed her again.

After a long silence, Houqin finally speaks up again.

"I... I think the main reason that the army in Liling city switched sides was because of Yiming. Rumor has it that they protest Yiming as the head."

"Why did they protest the decision?" Wuli curiously asked.

"I don’t know the exact details, but none of them seem to like Yiming at all... They might have had a feud in the past."

"So they invited the enemy that killed their comrades just to get back at Yiming?" Xiaoyun questioned as doubt remained.

"Not exactly that... O-One of Yiming’s first decisions was to recall the officer in Liling and to expedite him back to Changsha."

"Oh."

Both Wuli and Xiaoyun quickly realize why Yiming had chosen to remain radio silent. It was a personal feud that had led to this disaster getting out of hand.

"The feud must be seriously pissing Yiming off..."

Wuli murmured as he had never seen that Yiming had put his personal emotion over a rational decision.

"Yeah. That’s why I left. I didn’t want to get dragged into their drama with my life... Commander, you have to save Yiming sohow."

"I know."

As the room fell into silence, Xiaoyun’s mind was a little conflicted. He just couldn’t decide what to do next.

On one hand, saving Yiming was critical. He is still his general at the end of the day, not to ntion the pre-outbreak weapons he now possesses.

On the other hand, he had never once directly confronted Jiangxi’s n. He never even had a formal relationship with the ’supposed’ Ming empire.

All of Renqin’s and Yueyue’s past intelligence reports had stated the n in Jiangxi were extrely closed off, almost as if there was so secret underneath it.

A secret that Xiaoyun wasn’t sure if he wanted to bring his army against, especially when he hadn’t even taken care of Guangdong province.

He was scared that the ’Ming’ empire might have already conquered Jiangxi province and was looking for a place to expand, hence the incursion into Hunan.

"Xiaoyun, isn’t your friend Pinli and Chengyi also at Changsha? Did they really send nothing to tell you about this?" Wuli suddenly asked.

"They didn’t say anything... I have now decided. I think I know what we’re going to do next to deal with this."

A plan began to formulate inside Xiaoyun’s head. One that could resolve all of the trouble in Changsha once and for all.

"What is it?"

Both Wuli and Houqin asked at the sa ti. Their faces were full of curiosity and annoyance as he appeared to want to keep it a secret.

"I’ll tell you two tomorrow morning. I’m getting a little too sleepy right now."

Xiaoyun paused for a second as he got up from the sofa, then continued as he started walking over to the bedroom.

"Wuli, tell the army to stay put, and Houqin... You should probably take a shower first and wear so clothes."

As the sound of the closed door echoed in the living room, both of them looked towards Houqin’s body before freezing for a second.

"Houqin, do you not feel cold the whole ti?"

Wuli quietly asked, looking away to the side as her mind just realized again that Houqin had been naked the whole ti with her husband’s cum stain.

"I-I——Ah, sorry!"

Houqin couldn’t handle the embrassnt any longer, rushing into the bathroom as Wuli looked over to the sofa with all the ss.

"How am I going to tell this to everyone else? Leyan is never going to believe if I tell her this story..."

Wuli wondered, her own mind still unable to get over the fact that her husband’s cum managed to ’cure’ soone from a zombie virus.

---

"Whew, finally alone..."

As Xiaoyun collapsed onto the bed, he barely had any strength left to take off his clothes, let alone put on his pajamas.

His leg was constantly twitching on its own, almost as if it was trying to protest against him about the amount of ti he had abused his own body.

"Take a deep breath and relax. Everything is going to be fine tomorrow... Your body is going to recover by then."

Despite trying to calm down, his palms, his legs, his arms, and most importantly, his crotch, just felt too sore to relax.

"Co on, just go to sleep. You still have a lot of work for yourself tomorrow..."
