"Welco back, honey. How was your date with Houqin?"
As Leyan opened the front door, she imdiately noticed the tired look on her husband’s face as he fell onto the sofa.

"Where is everyone? Where did everyone go?"

"I’m fine... Leyan, can you wake up when Kate and Anna co back from work? I have an important announcent to make."

Watching him close his eyes and take a nap, Leyan slowly grabbed a blanket before putting it over him.

"Honey, wake up. Kate and Anna are back."
As Xiaoyun opened his eyes, all of his wives and babies were sitting around him on the sofa, looking towards him with curiosity.

The short pause made the living room feel more and more tense as they all wondered what kind of things he could be announcing.
"I’m going on a trip on November 30th. It’s going to be at least a week, or a month-long trip to the capital."

Leyan was the first to speak out, followed by the rest of his wives, who looked just as confused, except for Yuqi.
"Why go to the capital? What’s making you go there out of all places?" Shuli imdiately questioned.
"I don’t want to get into the details. All you have to know is that the military in the North is hosting a grand eting at the capital.
If I don’t go, then it will make it extrely awkward... I know it’s far, but a friend has already offered a plane ride."
All of them sat there in silence as they processed the bombshell news that he had just casually dropped after waking up.
"You said it’s on November 30th, right?" Nami asked.
"Yes, it’s right at the end of November... And rest assured, this trip is safe. I’m just going there to negotiate."
After sitting in silence for a whole minute, Xiaoyun spoke up again as he couldn’t endure them not saying anything.
"Are you all fine with that? Or do I need to make so arrangent?"

The answer seed to have changed so of their views, as the frown on their faces started to disappear.
"If there’s nothing that can be changed. What could we say other than to accept it?" Kate murmured.
"Yeah... And Xiaoyun, did you just have this eting before you ca to our factory?" Anna curiously asked.
"I did. Yuqi was there as well... You guys can ask her if there’s any in-depth detail you want to know more about."
Within seconds, all of them looked over to Yuqi, their faces seemingly questioning her why she didn’t tell them earlier.

Yuqi gave an angry look over to her husband for a second before being overwheld by the endless questions from her fellow sisters.

The next day...
"Honey, wake up. You promise Lily you’re going to drive her to university for the first day of school."
"Hm?"
As Xiaoyun slowly opened his eyes, Leyan was standing right beside the bed, fully dressed with wet hair tied to the back.
Looking around, he was the only one lying on the blanket, with all kinds of bodily fluid over him and the blanket itself.

Despite Kate’s threat, her face looked much more accepting of what happened compared to Anna’s sowhat embarrassed face.

Yuqi’s comnt finally sealed the end of the conversation as everyone ate their food in silence before Leyan’s phone suddenly started ringing.

With all the baby mamas headed over to the guest hallway, Xiaoyun could feel an increasing stare from his remaining wives.
"Why are you all looking at for?" Xiaoyun asked, unable to endure the attention from them any longer.
"We’re just thinking about how to get back at you, right, Anna and Tianci?"
Seeing both of them nodding in agreent with Kate, Xiaoyun suddenly felt a cold shiver traveling down his spine.
"Okay, okay. I’m sorry for tricking you guys... But I wasn’t doing it on purpose. I genuinely thought it would be less annoying for you guys."
"What makes you think that?" Anna grumpily questioned, getting a little annoyed by his attempt to defend himself.

"Can you not just apologize?" Kate interrupted, cutting his bullshit excuse before he could finish.

After a simple apology, both Kate and Anna let out a hmph! sound before turning their attention back to the food on their plate.
Except for Tianci, who continued to stare towards him in silence while her bowl still had so noodles in it.

All four of them at the table froze as they couldn’t believe what Tianci had just said out loud early in the morning.
