When Ivy agreed, she heard the sa lodious voice,
[Comncing the order... An error occurred. Insufficient Level.]
"Build a one-room apartnt." Ivy continued.
[Would you like to build a one-bedroom apartnt for 1KB?]
"Yes." Ivy refused to give up. She kept on feeling that she just needed to push through her limit, and soon she would reach the heights she was dreaming of.
And this ti her persistence did pay off, because the next second she heard the lodious voice say.
[Comncing the order...Construction finished.]
Ivy’s heart skipped a beat. She turned to look in the direction of the bathroom, and sure enough, she saw a small rectangular box-like structure.
It looked like the base of every building, but Ivy’s imnse excitent prevented her from thinking further.
Instead, she ran toward the huge house, which was made of wood, and pushed open the door. The mont she entered, she was a bit disappointed.
It was a apartnt with a living room and a kitchen, the main problem was that everything was made of wood.
There was no furniture or any decorative items like ones in the washroom. Not wanting to give up, Ivy suddenly asked,
"Do you have any decorative items or furniture like a sofa, a bed, or such things?"
[Would you like to view the shopping interface of the Temporal Storage?]
Shopping Interface? Did such things exist? Or was it so kind of hidden function, because as far as Ivy rembered, she had read all the instructions of the Temporal Storage.
Just to double-check, Ivy opened the instruction manual again, which was a small book that Temporal Storage had dropped when she had said that she didn’t have the ti to hear its tutorial and wanted sothing text-related.
Going through the manual, Ivy was taken aback when she saw that many of the rules had changed.
[Living objects can be stored; however, they can only stay inside for 4 days. Once 96 hours are over, they would be kicked out.]
Earlier, the ti limit to store living objects was just 2 days, but now it has changed to 4 days...
[The owner, however, can stay inside for 20 days.]
Wasn’t the previous limit 5 days? When did it jump to 10 days?
Then there was another rule that caught her attention, and Ivy could swear that she had rembered everything right.
[Sothing can be created here. Duplication is possible, but it requires kindness energy. The Temporal Storage Space is inlaid with a kindness ter, which could capture the kindness or karmic energy and store it to later use it for the conversion.]
She was sure that earlier it said nothing can be created, but now it was saying that sothing can be created... why was this temporal storage so vague?
Or... even if it doesn’t know about its limit? Well then, she couldn’t bla the temporal storage. Her eyes then fell to the newly appeared line.
[The owner can now access the shopping interface.]
So it was indeed a part of the upgrade. Ivy was curious about this interface and how it would appear. Hence she ordered,
"Yes. I would like to view the shopping interface." Her voice was brimming with excitent, and to her astonishnt and a holographic blue system panel appeared in front of her.
Suddenly, she wondered if she had unknowingly bound with a system or sothing; however, she soon dismissed her theory.
No kidding, she wasn’t assigned any task or mission. At most, the temporal storage reminded her of the requirent to upgrade.
With that, she heaved a sigh of relief and focused her attention on the shopping interface. True to its na, there were many items that she could see; the only problem was... to buy them, she needed to spend KB!
There were concrete bricks, clay bricks, and so other types of bricks. Buying just 1000 of them would cost her 1KB!
The only silver lining was, a one-room apartnt could be built in 1000 bricks. The only downside was that the cost would increase from 2KB to 3KB.
There were also cotton, wool, linen, silk, polyester, and other fabrics, but they couldn’t be bought in bulk and could only be used in making a bed, sofa, or cushion.
But even that would require sponge and wood.
Each items were listed as an icon with its price and description below it. On clicking it, one would get the interface to buy the item as well as a quantity increasing bar.
The more Ivy looked, the more certain she beca. Making a proper one-room apartnt will definitely cost her more than 3KB.
She was curious as to how the end product would be placed, and to quench her curiosity, she bought a few windows.
To her surprise, the panel in front of her transford to the layout of the room she was standing in, making her a bit impressed.
Without hesitation, she placed the window on the left wall displayed on the holographic blue screen.
The next second, the left wall glowed briefly before the new windows were installed. The view outside beca clear to her.
Just for the experint’s sake, Ivy decorated the cold one-room apartnt. First, she began by replacing the wood with concrete bricks and got it painted, before buying a bed, sofa, cupboard, a dining table, a shoe rack, and a mirror.
Thinking about the bathroom and the washroom, Ivy searched for a concrete wall and even found one. Without hesitation, Ivy bought it and installed it in the room.
Once a separate space for the bathroom and washroom was created, Ivy installed a water closet in the washroom as well as a shower head in the bathroom.
Looking at the warm house, Ivy nodded in satisfaction and did a quick calculation. Her heart started to bleed.
For decorating a re one-room apartnt, she needed to spend almost 10KB! Suppressing her heartache, she thought about the possible way she could use it and heaved a sigh of relief.
Just to try her luck, Ivy searched for solar panels and generators in the shopping interface and was disappointed when no results popped up.
