With that said, she retracted her hand, nodded at confused Ivy, before turning and leaving. As others watched her leave, complex emotions appeared in their eyes.

Ivy took a deep breath and decided not to dwell on the strange interaction. With that, she soon reached the apartnt. Once there, she unconsciously muttered the na in a low voice,

As she took a bath in her space and her body relaxed, she froze. Sh*t! She rembered who Annie Bell was!

It was said that, other than the Talon Base leader and a few of the talents hired by the Talon Base leader from foreign countries, almost no one else could win against Annie.
She was an unkillable cockroach to many, but eventually, she was killed by her own loved ones. To be precise, it was her own mother who had once drugged Annie before a zombie horde attack.
Even though Annie did 70% of the killing, midway she lost consciousness, and when she woke up again, the Talon base leader heavily fined her and even demoted her.

Annie still fought back, but eventually she realized that her brother was missing and her mother was the one who had kidnapped her brother. That was the secondary asure Annie’s mother had taken against Annie.
For a year or so, Annie struggled, and eventually, during one of her fights with her mother, Annie’s brother died, causing Annie to beco depressed, and she eventually committed suicide.
After Annie’s death, the Talon Base was in huge trouble. It was only after her departure did the Talon Base recognized her power and talent, but soon, so other talent took Annie’s place.
2 months later, Annie’s mother, who was getting targeted by Annie’s enemy, beca crazed and told other much she regretted scheming against her own daughter under Talon Base’s base leader!
Ivy’s eyes turned gloomy, but thinking back to Annie’s words, her eyes brightened again. In this life, since they have co across each other, she will recruit Annie to her base.
In a good mood, she left the space and started to use KB points to multiply the rice and salt. The process wasn’t tedious at all, and all Ivy needed was order.
