From a young age, when Silas was diagnosed with OLD, his parents went to great lengths to make sure he didn’t end up getting too attached.
His schedule was comprised of different classes, making him versatile in many fields, and yet the ti he spent in each field was less.
This was done to make sure he doesn’t fall in love with any of the fields, to the point that nothing other than that field interests him.
His parents, however, still lost in the end. He ended up falling for Ivy.
Staring at the beautiful woman sleeping in his arms, Silas’s heart fell full. She was already his wife, and soon they would consummate their marriage.
He didn’t want to deceive her, and hence, he still hadn’t gone to third base.
’I would make sure that my love feels that she is cherished properly. Hm...’ Silas thought, his eyes were filled with tenderness.

"Haha... what a fresh piece to experint on... " A middle-aged man’s voice echoed in Silas’s mind as he watched Ivy lying on a cold, tallic bed.
Her hands and legs were bound, while her lifeless eyes stared at the ceiling. Her face glowed under the hanging bulb. From the tear stains at the corners of her eyes, her previous struggles could be traced.
"Ivy?" Silas called out, his heart seed to have been painfully squeezed by an invisible hand, while a force knocked out the breath from his chest.
Ivy remained still, and only the tal bed was faintly lit, while the surroundings were covered by darkness.
Suddenly, a hand reached out and tore away the t-shirt with a few patches she was wearing. Silas’s body moved faster than his mind.
He tried to cover up Ivy using his body, but his body bypassed her.
"No... I... am I watching her future vision?" The mont that thought appeared in his mind, Silas pulled away and saw Ivy struggling.
Though her eyes were lifeless, her face was full of struggle and despair.
"Who are you all? What are you trying to do? Please let go!" Ivy scread; she thrashed against the restraints; however, her struggles were futile.
Silas’s heart ached, and he even tried to use his superpower, but everything seed useless...
Just then, the sa hand as before reached out and tore the bra, and Silas saw red.
"What the f*ck! Stop! I said Stop!" Silas suddenly found himself unable to move.
He watched as the hand road around Ivy’s body.
"Please! Don’t do this!" Ivy begged, but a voice filled with malice and excitent sounded,
"Hey, this woman is way too pretty. Why don’t we have so fun?" An unfamiliar voice echoed in Silas’s ears, and he struggled, his eyes red and bellowing,
"You bastard! Don’t you dare touch! I will fucking kill you! Do you understand?"
And yet, his words fell into deaf ears. The hand road around Ivy’s body freely, and a blurry figure suddenly covered Ivy with his own body.
"Move away! Don’t touch my Ivy!" Silas’s breathing quickened, his anger reached its peak, and killing intent appeared in his eyes.
The figure, oblivious to Silas’s gaze, continues to indulge in activity.
Ivy struggled, her face went from pain to sorrow, and then eventually to despair.
"Ivy! I am here! Don’t be afraid, I will rescue you." Silas promised, and the space around him distorted, unnoticed by him, started to vibrate.
Ti passed, and the helplessness and despair in Silas’s eyes beca more prominent.
He watched as red blood slowly started to seep out from Ivy’s private area.
The invisible force made him watch as his precious Ivy was violated and cried for help, and yet no one ca to help.
"Dr. Thompson, will you have all the fun? Why don’t you get down, let have fun?"
The blurry figure moved away, and another climbed on Ivy’s body.
"Silas..." Ivy called out, her voice sounded broken and was filled with pleading, "Please... Silas... help ...I couldn’t... I don’t want to live anymore... I feel dirty, Silas... why did you leave ... please... take with you..."

"Ivy!" Silas woke up with tears in his eyes. His heart was beating with fear, and the killing intent on his face hadn’t vanished.
He turned to look at Ivy who was beside him, and almost wanted to hug her, when he realized... she was crying... and murmuring.
"Silas....help .... they are... r*ping ... please... I am reborn... right... Why... why do... I have... go through it... again... I don’t... I was supposed to... have my first... ti... with him... "
Tears were streaming down her face, and Silas felt his own body turning cold.
That... was that future? Or... Reborn?
Ivy... Ivy was reborn?
That ans... she had lived all these things?
Covered by a thick blanket and no Air conditioner on, Silas shouldn’t have felt cold. But now... he was freezing.
All the things Ivy had done and said flashed past Silas’s mind.
No wonder... no wonder she was sure that he would die... she had experienced his death... not just seen it.
Then the scene he had seen... the one where she was violated... wasn’t a future... it was... reality... that had happened.
Silas’s head buzzed; however, his attention was imdiately attracted by Ivy’s choked sob, as she struggled to wake up from the nightmare she had once experienced.
Without a second thought, he hugged her and comforted her,
"Now... now... calm down. Sh! Shhh! I am here, Ivy. Nothing will happen to you."
Slowly, Ivy stopped struggling, and her face slowly transford from panic and despair to peace.
A cold, wet droplet landed on Ivy’s face, but she was sleeping too deeply.
Silas cautiously moved away to prevent any more of his teardrops from landing on Ivy’s face.
He covered his face with his arms, and choked sobs escaped his lips.
The dream that he had seen beca haunting, and the sound of Ivy’s cries and her despair was deeply imprinted in his heart.
In between, his shoulder shook, while his breathing ca out inconsistently, as if he was trying to hold back sothing.
