"It does exist, and I own it." Ivy smiled at her sister’s excitent. In her previous life, her eldest sister had many tis told her how she wished to be reborn before the apocalypse and hoard and find Ivy’s way before the ti.
Now she was living her eldest sister’s dream, and she wondered how Ember must be living.
Though she didn’t have to guess for long, the next second, Ember hugged Ivy tightly and almost yelled, "Wow! Wow! Just tell you have so more superpowers. Like you have a safe zone superpower and a supplies-picking superpower, so do you have anything else?"
"I don’t." Ivy shook her head with a serious expression, then she paused and thought about the temporal storage. "But this storage can store multiple items."
Ember’s eyes widened in disbelief. "Multiply? You an...like...copy items?!"
Ivy nodded, her expression calm despite the explosive reaction her words caused. "Yes. But only a few, and only under specific conditions. Like, only the items picked using my superpower, and they can only be multiplied once."
Felix’s mouth hung open. "Wait... so you can multiply items as you like?"
Ivy shook her head, "I can, but I need to pay with currency called KB. Karmic beats. Kindness beats."
"KB? Karmic beats? What... You do good deeds and gain KB?" Ember joked, but when she saw Ivy nodding with a serious expression, she froze.
"What? Is that even actually possible? What can even this temporal storage gain from your kind deeds? And how does it even asure it?" Felix looked confused.
Ivy smiled faintly, her fingers brushing over the necklace that hung around her neck, which was now visible. "From what I’ve observed, this device can differentiate the energy in the air and convert it into items."
Helena frowned slightly. "So... this power rewards kindness?"
"Yes," Ivy replied softly.
"What if you do evil deeds? Does it punish you? Or deduct credits? And what is your current balance?" Ember asked curiously.
"Till now, I haven’t been punished for committing any cri. So I don’t think it punishes for any evil deed committed by . And my current balance is 20 million KB points." Ivy explained, as her eyes darted to the panel visible only to her.
"Wow... this is so unexpected yet exciting at the sa ti!" Ember murmured, and she beca curious. "Ivy can I explore this place?"
"Sure." Ivy smiled when she saw the curiosity flickering in her eldest sister’s eyes. "Eldest and second brother, you too can explore."
Felix and Kael exchanged a look, and their gaze simultaneously landed on Silas. When they saw him curiously looking around, they heaved a sigh of relief and said,
"Then we will go and explore."
They stared at Silas, their feet still planted firmly on the ground despite their words.
Ignoring their heated gaze, Silas said to Ivy, "I will go and explore the storage, too."
With that, he left, and Kael and Felix heaved a sigh of relief. Finally, they both left.
"Mom, Dad, you should explore too. It is a fun place." Ivy smiled and decided to give so personal ti to her parent, since they looked like they needed a mont to have a private conversation.
Helena smiled warmly at her daughter’s thoughtful words and nodded. "Alright, dear. We’ll go look around. Just call us when everyone returns."
Victor placed a hand on Helena’s back and chuckled softly. "Co, let’s see what kind of miracle our daughter owns."
Once they left, Ivy was left alone. She decided to check the new building area where she often created the templates, just as she had taken two steps, a hand shot from behind and covered her mouth, while a familiar hot breath sprayed near her ears.
"Baby, let’s have fun too."
Ivy’s heart started to beat rapidly, and heat rushed to her cheeks as Silas scooped her up princess-style and asked softly, "Do you have a place where we can have so private ti?"
"Ah... Silas... my parents... my siblings..." Ivy couldn’t form a sentence; she was kind of scared of getting caught, yet a part of her was thrilled.
"Baby, we are husband and wife; what’s there to be scared of? Now directions, please?" Silas’s sexy voice made Ivy a bit dazed, and she softly told him the location.
Once they arrived outside a house-like structure, Silas carried her in and locked the door and moved toward the sofa in the living room.
Silas gently set Ivy down on the soft couch, his movents tender despite the playful glint in his eyes. For a mont, neither of them spoke.
Ivy lowered her gaze, her heartbeat echoing loudly in her chest. "Silas... you shouldn’t scare like that," she murmured, her voice small but not angry... more flustered than anything.
He chuckled softly and crouched in front of her, his tone sincere now. "What are you saying, wife? I want to comfort you; you looked shaken earlier."
"Still..." Ivy began, but the next second, Silas’s lips descended on Ivy’s.
His tongue moved in slow, teasing circles at first, tasting her like she was a delicacy he’d been denied too long.
Ivy cupped his back, and her lips moved against his with hunger, as if she had been starved for too long.
When they pulled back, a silver thread of saliva attached to them. Silas slowly started to peck her lips, cheeks, nose, and even her forehead.
Ivy couldn’t help but giggle and ask, "Silas, what are you doing?"
"Testing if the treasure I am holding is real or not, if it is one of my dreams again." He murmured, his hot breath landing on her, while his naughty hands slid inside her t-shirt.
With swift motion, he unhooked her bra, and Ivy gasped, "You... you can’t! Did you forget... the punishnt... ah... oh..."
Silas slowly massaged Ivy’s breast with his hands and smirked.
"What are you saying, Ivy? I am just giving you massage. Now relax; otherwise, how would I be able to comfort you?"
