The mont those words left her lips, the atmosphere shifted almost instantly.

The hostility lted away as if it had never existed.

A few people exchanged glances, their aggressive expressions softening into surprise and relief. One of them quickly turned and hurried off to find Ronak and Drake.

Monts later, both n arrived downstairs, their footsteps echoing faintly against the concrete floor.

When they saw Ivy, their expressions lit up imdiately.

Ronak was the first to step forward, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Sister-in-law, you are finally here."

Ivy let out a small breath she did not realize she had been holding and returned a faint smile.

"I ca as soon as I received the ssage. I wanted to see if there was anything I could do to help."

Ronak’s smile trembled slightly, his eyes glistening for just a second before he looked away.

’I must have done sothing good in my past life... otherwise, how would I have people like this by my side?’ he thought, his chest tightening with emotion.

Taking a deep breath, he composed himself and nodded.

"Everything is going well. The issue with the base has already been resolved."

Ivy gave a small nod before stepping toward the window.

The flood stretched endlessly before her, dark waters swallowing everything in sight.

Her gaze softened slightly. ’This... is not much different from what is happening back ho.’

She turned back toward Ronak, her expression firm now. "We need to save the other survivors too."

Ronak frowned imdiately, shaking his head. "That is impossible. We do not even have a boat."

A faint smile appeared on Ivy’s lips. "I have one."

Ronak’s brows furrowed deeper. "Even if we had a boat, with this temperature and the current conditions, traveling would be extrely dangerous."

Ivy chuckled softly, a quiet confidence in her tone. "I have a solution for that as well."

He narrowed his eyes, clearly unconvinced. "And what about space?"

"I can manage that too," Ivy replied without hesitation.

Ronak stared at her for a mont before asking, his voice quieter but more probing,

"Why are you so determined to help others?"

Ivy t his gaze and smiled gently. "Because I can."

’And because if I do not... who will?’ she added silently in her heart.

She had the resources. She had the ability. She had the intelligence.

So she would use them.

Of course, she would never neglect her own safety, but that did not an she would stand by and watch others suffer.

Still, she chose to leave the execution to Ronak.

After all, he had the ability to remain safe even in such dangerous flood conditions.

When Ronak heard her proposal, he hesitated for only a few seconds before nodding. "Alright."

He turned, already thinking through the plan, but Drake’s voice stopped him.

"Is this really necessary?" Drake’s tone carried worry, his eyes fixed on Ronak. "Do you really have to take such a risk?"

Ronak gave him a reassuring nod. "Do not worry. I will be fine. And since sister-in-law suggested this, she must already have a plan."

Drake hesitated before nodding slowly, though unease still lingered in his eyes.

’I hope she does not disappoint ...’ he thought grimly.

Over the past few months, he had seen how cruel and unpredictable humans could beco. The only person he truly could not afford to lose was Ronak.

’If sothing happens to him because of this... I will not forgive her.’ A dark thought crossed his mind.

Ivy, who had long sensed his emotions, did not take offense.

’If soone forced Silas into danger like this, I would have reacted the sa way... or worse,’ she admitted to herself. ’At least he trusts enough to allow this once.’

Ronak and his team quickly prepared, pulling on raincoats before stepping outside. The cold rain lashed against the ground.

They climbed onto what seed like a cruise.

Before they could set off, Ivy handed each of them a small object. "Take this."

Ronak looked down at the transpirator ball in his hand and nodded slightly.

She had already told them about its function, to protect them from the rain and the flood.

Though they did not fully believe it, they still crushed the balls as instructed.

The mont they did...a strange shimring layer spread outward.

The rain stopped.

Or rather, it no longer touched them.

A transparent barrier ford around the boat, separating them completely from the harsh downpour and the raging waters below.

For a brief mont, everyone froze in disbelief.

One of the team mbers let out a shaky breath, relief washing over his face. "This... actually works."

Even Drake, standing at a distance, felt his tension ease. He looked at Ivy, his gaze filled with gratitude.

Ivy simply smiled in response, calm and composed.

Once Ronak and his team departed, their boat gliding smoothly across the floodwaters, Ivy turned back toward the grocery store.

This store mirrored the one in her own base, yet it felt... limited.

’The supply here is far too restricted,’ she noted, her brows furrowing slightly.

The reason was obvious. Distance.

Maintaining the connection required to transport items here was already difficult, and the more she sent, the harder it beca to sustain.

She could only restock every few months.

That limitation was far too restrictive for what she had in mind.

After thinking for a while, her eyes sharpened with determination.

’I will expand it.’

She decided to add ten more floors to the grocery store.

Fortunately, the land beneath it was strong enough to support a much larger structure... up to twenty-five floors if needed.

’Then twenty floors will not be a problem at all.’

As she began making the changes, she glanced outside once more.

The floodwaters had risen even higher. The current was stronger and more violent.

Just as she had suspected...

’This situation is getting out of control.’

If she wanted to build anything here, she needed to act first.

Her gaze turned cold and focused.

’Before anything else... I need to separate the water from the ground.’

And that was exactly what she did.
