Ivy’s fingers twitched slightly at her side.

’If they can do that... then...’ Her gaze hardened, and she stepped closer.

"Then tell ... is there a possibility for them to send soone back into the past? Into the sa tiline of this world?"

Siya blinked, clearly caught off guard by the question.

She stared at Ivy for a mont, confusion evident in her eyes, before slowly shaking her head.

"No... that’s not possible," she replied, her tone firm but thoughtful.

"Even the royal family, with all their power, cannot interfere with the sa tiline. At most... they can send soone into a parallel world, not rewind or alter the original tiline."

The words struck Ivy like a sudden jolt.

"Parallel... world?" she repeated under her breath, her pupils trembling slightly.

A strange unease crept into her chest, tightening around her heart.

’Don’t tell ... this isn’t even my original world...’

Her breathing grew slightly uneven as countless possibilities flooded her mind.

If this was a parallel world, then her original tiline remained untouched, continuing forward without her.

Yet, at the sa ti... it avoided the paradox she had been unconsciously fearing.

’No contradiction... no collapse of ti...’

She pressed her fingers against her temple, massaging it slowly as if trying to steady the storm of thoughts swirling inside her head.

After a mont, she exhaled quietly and looked back at Siya, her gaze sharp once more.

"Then... is there any way to send a ssage to soone in a past tiline?"

Siya frowned slightly, her lips pursing as she considered the question.

"It... might be possible," she admitted cautiously. "But I don’t know the details. That kind of knowledge is beyond ."

Her eyes then narrowed as she studied Ivy closely, suspicion creeping into her expression.

"Why are your questions so... unusual?" she pressed, her voice tinged with curiosity and doubt.

"It’s almost as if you’ve experienced sothing like this yourself."

Ivy’s fists clenched subtly, her nails digging faintly into her palms.

"You’re overthinking," she replied calmly, though her thoughts were anything but calm. ’She’s getting too close... I need to steer this away.’

Without giving Siya ti to dwell on it, Ivy shifted the topic smoothly.

"Tell sothing else," she continued.

"When you summon people through portals... is it random? Or can you choose specific individuals?"

Siya relaxed slightly at the change in subject, though a trace of suspicion still lingered in her gaze.

She shook her head slowly.

"Summoning specific individuals is extrely complicated. It requires elaborate rituals, precise conditions, and... significant sacrifices," she said, her tone turning serious.

"That’s why most of the ti, a random summoning circle is used. For example... Sir Ferrero and Sir Jeff used random portals when they summoned all of us here."

Ivy nodded thoughtfully, absorbing every word. "I see..."

From there, she continued asking questions...about their society, their hierarchy, their daily lives.

Siya, perhaps out of pride or confidence, did not hold back.

She spoke openly, almost eagerly, her voice carrying a subtle arrogance as she described the advanced civilization of her people.

At tis, she even attempted to plant seeds of doubt in Ivy’s mind.

"You know," Siya remarked at one point, her lips curling faintly, "it would be much wiser for you to accept reality now. Eventually, beings like us will rule over humans. If you submit early, you might even benefit from it."

Ivy did not respond to that, her expression remaining unreadable. Yet inside, her thoughts churned.

’So that’s how it is...’ she mused silently. ’Anyone who steps into their world would be tempted to abandon humanity.’

The reasons were painfully clear.

Their civilization had already broken through the limits of their own universe, venturing beyond it and exploring neighboring ones.

They had begun establishing communication across star systems, observing distant planets, and systematically conquering them.

More than twenty planets had already fallen under their control.

On those worlds, countless civilizations once thrived...unique, diverse, and full of life. Now, they were nothing more than slaves.

’And Earth...’ Ivy’s gaze darkened slightly. ’The only reason it hasn’t fallen yet is because of its proximity to the sun.’

The heat and radiation had created natural barriers, slowing their expansion. But that advantage would not last forever.

’The peace humans are enjoying right now... it’s temporary.’

Her fingers curled slightly as a new determination flickered within her eyes. ’I need to find a way... to stop them before they arrive.’

Lifting her head, she looked at Siya once more, her expression turning serious. "One last question," she said.

Siya imdiately beca alert, her posture straightening as she focused on Ivy.

"Has there ever been soone in your royal family," Ivy asked slowly, "who was experinted on... and then expelled?"

For a split second, Siya’s eyes widened, shock flashing across her face before she quickly masked it.

She shook her head stiffly. "I... can’t answer that."

Ivy’s gaze sharpened, sensing the hesitation.

She was just about to press further when a muffled sound interrupted her.

Paris struggled against his restraints, his body tensing as he tried to get her attention.

Ivy frowned and stepped forward, noticing the cloth stuffed into his mouth. She reached out and pulled it free.

The mont he was able to speak, Paris inhaled sharply and said urgently, "Don’t force her to answer... if she speaks, she’ll die."

Ivy’s eyes narrowed slightly in surprise.

"Die?" she repeated, her tone thoughtful.

"Is there so kind of restriction... or curse placed on you? Sothing that prevents you from speaking against the royal family?"

Paris and Siya exchanged a brief glance, their expressions tense before they both gave a subtle nod.

Seeing that confirmation, Ivy fell silent for a mont.

Then, finally, she exhaled softly and straightened up. "Alright," she said calmly. "I have what I need."

Both Siya and Paris blinked in surprise, clearly not expecting her to back off so easily.

They had assud she intended to push them until they broke... or worse.

Yet instead of relief, a strange unease settled within them.
