No sooner had he hung up than another call ca in. Lin Tian glanced at the screen—it was an unfamiliar number. He swiped to answer.
"Mr. Lin, this is Xu Shan. I apologize for disturbing you with this call," ca the cautious voice of Xu Shan over the phone.
"What can I do for you, Boss Xu?" Lin Tian was in no mood to waste ti on him and asked bluntly.
"That batch of jade has been successfully passed on to the Bai Family. The transaction went smoothly, thanks mainly to your advice. We don’t have to worry about what cos after. The middleman has left the country. He can hide anywhere he pleases; the Bai Family surely won’t find him." Xu Shan sounded excited, probably having made a tidy profit.
Good news followed good news. Lin Tian had guessed this outco when he received the ten million, but hearing the confirmation from Xu Shan himself finally put his mind at ease.

Liu Wenxing was a year younger than Lin Tian, yet curiously, soone who had to do chores at ho was fairer than Lin Tian. Dressed in casual wear, he approached Lin Tian’s car tentatively.
"Wow, Brother Tian, you won Lotto and went straight to buy a car? That is so cool," Liu Wenxing said admiringly, reaching out to touch the black body of the bulletproof car.
The body of the bulletproof car was thick and robust, with distinct, rugged lines, especially the four bulletproof tires, which were larger than most off-road vehicle tires. The car, sitting there, resembled a muscular man standing in front of you. Xiao Manxuan thought the car was ugly, but Lin Tian liked this style.

"Alright, Wenxing, don’t let our dorm 520’s reputation falter just because the school beauty is a bit pretty and cute," said Lin Tian. He used to live in dorm 520, which was famous throughout the school.
"Hehe, you guys used to live in that famous dorm, huh? I don’t board, but I’ve heard of it occasionally," Xiao Manxuan said, her smile widening at Lin Tian’s complint.
"That’s all in the past. Wenxing, how do we get there? Where is the bar?" Lin Tian didn’t want to bring up those matters.
"It’s the sa bar you used to work at. I heard that the manager went missing, and the owner thought it was bad luck, so they sold it off. Then that group of rich kids took over, including Bai Yufeng and Sun Decai who have stakes in it," Liu Wenxing explained.
