The car was driving on the road. Ning Luoxi glanced at Lin Tian in the passenger seat, frowned slightly, and said, "Lin Tian, it’s just that we don’t have a phone. Why do I feel like you’re a bit unsettled?"
"Really? Maybe modern life relies too much on phones. Just when we left ours behind, it feels awkward, like sothing’s missing." Lin Tian raised an eyebrow, sowhat puzzled, unable to pinpoint his emotions.
"By the way, did you bring a phone? I need to make a call," Lin Tian added.

"So, today we’re completely isolated from the outside world, just the two of us? Like being in the Underground River." Lin Tian joked intentionally when she didn’t reply.
"Don’t misunderstand my mom’s intention. I’m just responsible for accompanying you today, nothing more." Ning Luoxi glared at Lin Tian and said.
Lin Tian chuckled without refuting her words. Ning Luoxi gritted her teeth, considering whether to drive to a deserted place and have a fight.
Of course, she only thought about it, and the car still drove to the Yun Family. The security guards recognized Lin Tian and knew his identity, letting him in without announcing, while Ning Luoxi waited outside.

An Xiaoru shook her head, saying, "No, the Yun Family has a rule that prevents us from entering guests’ rooms or touching their belongings without permission."
Lin Tian nodded, not paying much attention, and swiftly went upstairs and opened the room. Before leaving with Ning Luoxi yesterday, he had already stowed his phone away in the drawer.
He took it out and turned it on, then was startled to find over a dozen missed calls, all from Miss.
Lin Tian felt a jolt in his heart, a bad premonition, wondering if sothing major happened while he was down the well. He hurriedly redialed the number. After a few rings, the phone connected, and Miss’s voice ca through.
"Lin Tian, is that you?"
Lin Tian directly asked, "What’s happened?"
The other end of the line was silent for a while before saying, "My mom... she’s gone missing..." Her voice carried a suppressed tremor.
Lin Tian’s hand tightened around the phone, almost crushing it. He spoke in a low voice, "When did it happen? Why did she disappear? Who did it?"
"Yesterday during the day, the Nuwa System suddenly alerted . Mom’s signals were lost instantly. She carries a tracking system that always stays connected with Nuwa, never having lost signal. I also tried contacting, yet received no information, and I’ve activated a search but still found nothing. Mom seed to vanish suddenly." Miss narrated with suppressed agitation.
Yesterday during the day? That was when I was down the well, Lin Tian thought. Was it a coincidence or preditated?
If it’s a coincidence, it’s too coincidental; it didn’t happen earlier or later, but during the ti I was down the well, when I’m absent, it’s the best opportunity to target the Xiao Family. If it’s preditated, how would the planner know my whereabouts? Lin Tian frowned in thought but got no answers.
This well journey information was known to only a limited few from the Ning Family: Ning Luoxi herself, then Ning Weiguo, Fang Ming, and Ning Jianxun father and son. To say it was leaked by these Ning Family mbers, Lin Tian would never believe it.
If soone knew his whereabouts, Lin Tian really couldn’t figure out how they knew.
"If you couldn’t reach , why didn’t you contact the Yun Family or Ning Family? They could have promptly inford of the matter." Lin Tian asked with a frown.
"This matter might be very dangerous, and I didn’t want to involve the Yun Family or Ning Family." Miss replied earnestly.
"Saying that, I ought to be unhappy, as you didn’t want to trouble them but did trouble . Yet, I’m actually glad because you consider part of yourself, that’s why you were willing to tell ." Lin Tian said solemnly.
"Who... who’s part of yourself, shaless!" Miss retorted, but then gently said, "I know you’re diverting my attention to comfort , thank you, Lin Tian."
"Miss, you don’t need to worry temporarily. In fact, no news can be considered good news. Stay ho and wait for to return." Lin Tian said.
Miss softly responded, feeling inexplicably reassured with Lin Tian.
"By the way, how is Second Miss doing? Knowing Mrs. Xiao has gone missing, she’s probably crying her heart out, right?" Lin Tian asked with so concern, thinking of the willful Second Miss.
"Xuanxuan hasn’t slept all night, only just now fell asleep. Apart from constantly ntioning Mom, she also keeps calling your na." Miss affectionately said, seemingly watching her sister over there.

"Okay, thank you!" Lin Tian said, then ended the call with Yun Xiaotian. After thinking for a mont, he dialed another number, which connected after two rings.
"Brother Tian..." Rossi’s respectful voice sounded.
Lin Tian’s tone wasn’t good as he spoke, "Rossi, what’s going on? Li Xinyi is missing. Didn’t you know?"
"Brother Tian, it’s my fault, I didn’t take care of the Xiao Family well." Rossi’s guilty voice sounded, without offering explanations for himself.
