Unexpectedly, Yuwen Luofei said to Lin Tian, "Alright, take off your clothes and throw them over here for to check."
Lin Tian almost fainted, thinking, could this woman not tell it was sarcasm? She earnestly asked him to take off his clothes—was she out of her mind?
"Little girl, is it this black diamond you’re looking for?" Charlotte suddenly said.
Both Lin Tian and Yuwen Luofei looked at her. In Charlotte’s hand, sure enough, was a large black diamond, casting mysterious rays under the sunlight.
"Miss Charlotte, is this really the Eye of the Creator?" Yuwen Luofei frowned and asked.
"Of course," Charlotte admitted.
Yuwen Luofei glanced at Lin Tian, then turned back to Charlotte, puzzled, "Miss Charlotte, why is this...?"
"There’s no need to doubt, little girl. Half an hour ago, I bought this black diamond. It belongs to now. If you don’t believe , you can call to verify," Charlotte smiled.
"With Miss Charlotte’s status, she certainly wouldn’t lie," Yuwen Luofei said. Now she couldn’t delve into how the black diamond appeared.
However, clarifying this matter made her feel awkward because she had been insisting that Lin Tian took it.
"Lin Tian, I..." Yuwen Luofei moved her lips, seemingly wanting to apologize but unsure what to say to make up for earlier mistakes.
Being falsely accused multiple tis can’t be resolved with just a "sorry." If it were her, Yuwen Luofei wouldn’t accept such slander either.
"If you can’t say it, then don’t. I’m not missing those three words," Lin Tian said with so displeasure, his tone very cold.
Lin Tian was obviously unhappy. Being repeatedly labeled a thief, if he still smiled and shrugged it off, that wouldn’t be magnanimity; it would be foolishness. Lin Tian didn’t pursue it further, considering they were both from Huaxia.
"I owe you this ti. I’ll definitely repay you when I have the chance!" The little girl seed rather earnest and serious.
Lin Tian didn’t respond, neither agreeing nor disagreeing. Whether they would et again was uncertain, so what was the point of talking about owing or not owing?
Yuwen Luofei also knew her words lacked persuasion. She hesitated for a mont, seemingly making a decision, then opened her collar and took off a pendant from her neck.
"Lin Tian, I really wronged you this ti. Whatever I say, you won’t believe . This is a pendant I always wear. Take it as a keepsake. You can use it to make a request. As long as it doesn’t defy heaven or breach laws and regulations, I’ll try my best to fulfill it," Yuwen Luofei said solemnly.
Encountering such a straightforward little girl surprised Lin Tian, and it amused him a bit. His initial displeasure vanished. However, he hadn’t planned on asking for any compensation, so he stood still, not accepting her pendant.
Yuwen Luofei stepped forward, placed the pendant directly into Lin Tian’s hand, then quickly retreated back to her original spot, fearing Lin Tian might refuse.
These days, soone was forcefully giving him sothing—Lin Tian was speechless. He picked up the pendant and examined it closely. It was a very exquisite and small golden knife, still carrying Yuwen Luofei’s body warmth and even a faint fragrance.
"Little girl, now that you’ve given the thing, can I have a few words with Lin Tian alone?" Charlotte suddenly said.
"No problem, Miss Charlotte," Yuwen Luofei said and left after giving Lin Tian one last look.
Once Yuwen Luofei was far enough, Charlotte chuckled lightly, "A keepsake received on the first eting—my Guardian Knight indeed has quite the charm."
Lin Tian casually shoved the pendant into his pocket and said coldly, "That joke’s not funny at all. But what about you? Sending Yuwen Luofei away—aren’t you afraid that without anyone watching, I’d kill you?"
"You won’t, and besides, can you kill ?" Charlotte said with a calm smile.
"Whether I can or can’t, I won’t know until I try!" Lin Tian said coldly, then, with a swift movent, appeared in front of Charlotte.
Charlotte didn’t step back or dodge, instead suddenly taking out sothing to block Lin Tian.
Lin Tian saw what was in her hand and imdiately halted because Charlotte held a talisman!
Lin Tian was quite familiar with talismans since he’d been with Zhang Lingyu recently, and talismans were one of Zhang Lingyu’s weapons.
Thinking of Zhang Lingyu, Lin Tian had a bad premonition. "Where did you get the talisman?" he couldn’t help asking.
Charlotte feigned a look of recollection and only spoke after a long while, "If I rember correctly, it’s a talisman from the Huaxia Demon Exorcist, given by soone called Zhang Lingyu."
"Impossible, Zhang Lingyu has already returned to her family," Lin Tian imdiately refuted. Although he said that, the uneasy feeling in his heart intensified.
"I recall passing through a desolate area a few days ago and saw soone fainted on the ground. When I went to check, it turned out to be our beautiful Heavenly Master, oh, you call her Zhang Lingyu. Out of humanitarian rescue, I took her in, and those talismans were on her," Charlotte smiled.

Back then, Zhang Lingyu concluded Charlotte had returned to England. Who knew this vampire leader was still lurking around?
"You have a grudge with . Why capture her?" Lin Tian questioned.
Charlotte shook her head and chuckled, "No, you’re mistaken. I hold no grudges with you or her. Despite her killing quite a few of my subordinates, they were just low-level Blood Clan—I don’t care much. As for you and , even less so. You defend your Xiao Family; I seek my Blood Angel, nothing more."
"If there’s no grudge, why is she in your hands?" Lin Tian couldn’t figure out what this vampire leader was planning.
"No need to worry. I haven’t hard her; she’s completely fine, not a hair missing. I simply asked her to do a favor," Charlotte continued.
"What favor?" Lin Tian frowned, finding Charlotte’s words increasingly mysterious.
"I can’t tell you for now. I’ll make a deal with you: once the deal is complete, you’ll get the Bloodline you want and that beautiful Heavenly Master," Charlotte said with a smile that wasn’t quite a smile.
Lin Tian squinted slightly and comnted bluntly, "You’re full of lies. Last ti you tricked with a black card; you think you can trick again? I won’t agree to any deal. I just need to capture you and use you for an exchange—I bet your subordinates won’t abandon you to your fate."
"Oh, it depends on your capability," Charlotte shrugged, suddenly revealing a black gemstone in her hand.
