"There are eight mysterious scripts in Huaxia, which remain undeciphered to this day: Cangjie Book, Xia Yu Book, Red Rock Scripture, Yelang Heavenly Book, Bashu Symbols, Tadpole Script, Dongba Docunts, and Xunlu Stele. These eight scripts are obscure and difficult to understand. If the characters on the ancient sword belong to one of these scripts, no one is likely to know its na," Xiao Manxue said regretfully, touching the two ancient characters.
Lin Tian pondered for a mont, then laughed and said, "Maybe there’s soone who can read these two characters."
Xiao Manxue was surprised and said, "Zi Yan?"
"That’s right, Zi Yan is well-versed in ancient scripts. She can even translate the script of gold, so she’s quite the expert in ancient scripts," Lin Tian nodded.
He took out his phone, took a picture of the ancient sword, and another close-up of the two ancient characters, sending both photos to Zi Yan.
Lin Tian initially planned to add a brief explanation, but before he could type it out, Zi Yan replied with a ssage containing just two words: Hua Ying.
Lin Tian exclaid in surprise, "So fast."
Xiao Manxue quickly asked, "What did Sister Zi Yan say?"
"Hua Ying, this ancient sword is nad Hua Ying," Lin Tian said.
"Zhuanyu from the Gao Yang clan had the Hua Ying Sword and the Sky Soaring Sword. If there were soldiers at the four corners, this sword would fly to them, and pointing in their direction would conquer them. When not in use, it’s sheathed, always sounding like a Tiger Roar," recited Li Wenfeng, his words filled with astonishnt.
"So it’s the Hua Ying Sword," Xiao Manxue also exclaid.
Zhuanyu, originally nad Qianhuang, was one of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, titled Gao Yang, also known as the Black Emperor or Xuan Emperor, and was the grandson of Emperor Xuan Yuan. His swords were Hua Ying and Sky Soaring.
Legend has it that there was a year of great floods, with torrential rains pouring from the sky for seven days and nights without stopping, causing a flood that brought suffering to the people. Emperor Zhuanxu, with several elders, went to the flood-stricken area. He stood on a mountain, looking at the flood, burning with anxiety.
In his urgency, Emperor Zhuanxu broke off a tree branch and commanded the flood, "Waters, heed my command, flow from here!"
Amazingly, the flood obeyed Emperor Zhuanxu’s command and receded. The flood withdrew, saving the people. Emperor Zhuanxu was overjoyed and casually stuck the branch at his waist, which magically turned into a sword—this sword was Hua Ying.
Lin Tian often read ancient texts and had co across such legends more than once, but he hadn’t expected that the legendary Hua Ying Sword would appear before him. Such an ancient famous sword; he wondered how it ended up abroad.
"People only know of the Xuanyuan Sword, but they don’t know that the Hua Ying is also a kingly sword," Lin Tian said.
"Lin Tian, if it weren’t for you, Hua Ying might have remained buried in a corner of the Treasure Pavilion," Xiao Manxue sheathed the sword, remarked with feeling.
"I ca to the Holy Spirit Town with you, earning those fifty thousand points, making it possible to exchange for Hua Ying. So, it’s you who truly brought it back into the world. That’s why it’s said that you’re its new owner," Lin Tian reasoned, to which Xiao Manxue had no rebuttal.
Li Wenfeng interrupted, "Regardless of who the credit belongs to, this is a great event to be celebrated, isn’t it?"
Finishing his sentence, he snapped his fingers, and the waiter approached, carrying trays with glasses of red wine. Each participant took a glass, raising it towards Xiao Manxue and Lin Tian as a gesture of congratulations.
A middle-aged waiter approached Li Wenfeng with three glasses of wine. Li Wenfeng casually took one, exchanging a glance, intentional or not, with the middle-aged man.
The middle-aged man then moved to Xiao Manxue and Lin Tian. Naturally, Lin Tian also picked up a glass. It was indeed a mont worthy of celebration for the Miss to have acquired such a valuable sword.
Li Wenfeng gestured with his glass, and Lin Tian replied with a slight smile, drinking down the red wine. As soon as the wine slid down, Lin Tian’s eyes narrowed imdiately as he sensed a rampant energy surging from the wine, invading his whole body.

Nonetheless, the presence of Evil Qi in the wine was unexpected. If an ordinary person drank it, they would likely transform into a monstrous creature. Previously, whether Yun Hongxi or Zhu Li had been affected by similar Evil Qi, if not rescued, they would’ve beco demons.
He looked up and saw the Miss also lifting the glass to her lips, about to drink. Lin Tian hurried over and grabbed her wrist.
"Lin Tian, what are you doing?" Xiao Manxue glared at him, lightly protesting. Such intimacy in a crowd made her face feel warm.
Li Wenfeng tasted his wine but kept a half-conscious watch on Lin Tian and Xiao Manxue, the corners of his mouth lifting in a slight smile.
Lin Tian whispered quickly into Xiao Manxue’s ear, "There’s sothing wrong with the wine. Follow my lead and don’t let anyone else notice."
Xiao Manxue’s ears were very sensitive, and Lin Tian’s breath made them ticklish and red, but his sudden words left her montarily stunned.
She softly replied, "If there’s sothing wrong with the wine, what about you having drunk it just now?"
"Trust ," were the only three words Lin Tian said.
Before she could say more, Lin Tian had already taken her wine glass, straightened up, and smiled, "Miss, having acquired this precious sword today, you should fast for three days. During these three days, avoid at and wine."
In significant matters, she knew Lin Tian never joked. She didn’t hesitate, going along, "In my excitent, I nearly forgot the rules. Luckily, you reminded ."
Lin Tian gave her a look, praising her for her quick and convincing reaction.
"Cousin, Brother Lin Tian, is there such a rule? How co I didn’t know?" Li Wenfeng asked, full of doubt.
Lin Tian lifted the Miss’s glass and said, "Mr. Li practices Western martial arts, so he might not be familiar with the traditions of the Huaxia Ancient Martial World. Fasting for three days is ant to adjust one’s mindset to better achieve unity with the sword."
"Brother Lin Tian makes sense. I’ve learned sothing new today," Li Wenfeng’s eyes flickered slightly, and then he assud a humble deanor.
Even though Xiao Manxue knew Lin Tian was bluffing, she still found it reasonable, thinking this rascal’s eloquence truly impressive, making nonsense sound convincing.
"Mr. Li, I’ll take the liberty of drinking the Miss’s wine for her," Lin Tian said solemnly, then downed the wine in one go.
Xiao Manxue watched Lin Tian drink and felt her heart skip inexplicably because the spot where Lin Tian drank was where her lips had touched, leaving a faint lip print.
The words "indirect kiss" surfaced in her mind, recalling the long kiss they had shared as pretend lovers days ago, causing her cheeks to flush red.
Li Wenfeng watched Lin Tian drink the wine, smiling slightly, and then he, too, drank his wine heartily.
With the wine now down, Lin Tian felt the rampant energy again, confirming that the Miss’s wine also had issues.
