Lin Tian imdiately stopped in his tracks and said irritably, "What’s got you so startled?"
"This weaponry had sothing good," the Sword Spirit said excitedly.
"Impossible! I just checked everything. They’re all just standard weapons and equipnt," Lin Tian said confidently because he trusted his super perception.
"Really? What did you use to look? How co I don’t know?" The Sword Spirit was puzzled for a mont, but didn’t delve further and continued, "This feeling is very strange. If you’re sure there’s nothing in the warehouse, did you try checking the surrounding walls? Maybe there’s a hidden compartnt or sothing."
A secret compartnt? Lin Tian’s heart fluttered. Yes, if the Sword Spirit really sensed sothing good, it might be in a hidden compartnt in the wall since he just confird that the shelves in the warehouse only had ordinary weapons.
"Lin Tian..." Luo Lin’s shout pulled Lin Tian from his thoughts. She looked at the halted Lin Tian with curiosity, "Is there sothing wrong? Why did you stop suddenly?"
"Oh, nothing, let’s go," Lin Tian pretended casually, quickened his pace, and caught up with Luo Lin and Reya.
Luo Lin closed the door again, and the three of them left the armory. In Lin Tian’s mind, the Sword Spirit shouted, "Hey, kid, leaving just like that? That’s not like you."
As they walked, Lin Tian communicated in his mind, "For soone of your elder status, you don’t even understand such a simple principle? If I take it now, do you think the Blood Clan would generously let go of the treasure?"
"That makes so sense. Are we going to steal it again tonight?" The Sword Spirit spoke excitedly, as if stealing sothing was very thrilling.
"Your reaction is quite quick, but we don’t call it stealing. We call it taking," Lin Tian said shalessly.
"Taking without permission is not stealing?" the Sword Spirit asked curiously.
Lin Tian chuckled to himself and said matter-of-factly, "This is what I call making use of everything. Judging by this basent’s age, this good thing has been undiscovered for ages. I’m bringing it back to light, letting it shine again and contribute. Shouldn’t that earn so gratitude?"
"To describe stealing in such a unique and refreshing way, I must admit defeat," the Sword Spirit admired.
"Lin Tian, I’m really sorry for today." As they approached the bar’s main hall, Luo Lin suddenly said, with Reya also expressing apologies.
Lin Tian said nonchalantly, "It’s nothing, I’m used to fighting unard anyway."
"When the elder returns, I will ask her to find a Swordsmith for you," Luo Lin promised.
"Thank you," Lin Tian said seriously.
Before reaching the bar’s main hall, Lin Tian and Luo Lin parted ways, and he went back to his dormitory. Now, all he had to do was wait for nightfall.
Other than being brought als at noon and evening, the day was relatively quiet. Lin Tian spent his ti practicing his Beast Skin Cultivation Technique and refining the Crescent Blade.
Until about three in the morning, Lin Tian, who was ditating on his bed, suddenly opened his eyes. In the next second, his presence was nowhere to be found in the room.
Lin Tian had leapt out of the window and returned to the weaponry entrance at top speed. It’s unsure whether the Blood Clan was overly confident or didn’t know how to install them, but none of the passages had surveillance caras.
"Kid, how are you getting in?" The Sword Spirit beca lively again.
"Don’t worry, I watched Luo Lin input the code this morning, so I know it," Lin Tian said confidently. He activated the screen and entered the access code.
Perhaps the armory didn’t have much of value; there wasn’t a single guard. Lin Tian walked through the quiet armory, and he could even hear his own breathing.
"Search carefully again. That strange feeling is back," the Sword Spirit urged.
Lin Tian activated his super perception again, his vision covering the entire armory. This ti, he expanded his scope to include the stone walls around it.
The armory’s surrounding walls were built with granite stone, the kind of large granite slabs, and Lin Tian carefully observed the walls, looking for possible hidden compartnts.
"A secret chamber! There’s actually a secret chamber here," Lin Tian’s gaze suddenly stopped at one wall.
The armory was square, with four walls; apart from the front wall, the other three were faced with underground soil. Behind the innermost wall, a two-ter square room had been hollowed out.
"How do you know there’s a secret chamber there?" the Sword Spirit asked curiously.
"I have super perception, do you believe it?" Lin Tian intentionally told the truth, as generally, when soone says sothing like this, others are more likely to think you’re joking.
The Sword Spirit, of course, didn’t believe it and humd, "Super perception is an Ancient Divine Skill; if you have it, then I must know the Great Prophecy Technique."
"What’s the Great Prophecy Technique?" Lin Tian asked curiously.
"Have you heard the tale of a deity creating the world? The land was void and chaotic, darkness was over the abyss, and the Spirit of God hovered over the waters. God said, ’Let there be light,’ and there was light. When the Caster says a word, it materializes out of thin air; that’s the Great Prophecy Technique. Soone once researched it and believed it was a kind of domain."
"So, when a Caster uses the Great Prophecy Technique, a domain is created around them, and within this domain, they’re a god, omnipotent..." The Sword Spirit continued to ramble further, and Lin Tian quickly interrupted its long speech.
"Alright, I don’t want to hear your divine theories. That’s your Western gods; Huaxia’s gods didn’t create the world like that. Let’s get into the secret chamber now and talk, don’t linger too long and get discovered by other Blood Clan mbers," Lin Tian decided.
He went to the wall, using super perception to examine it, and soon found the passage connecting the secret chamber to the armory, but it was blocked by a stone wall that required a chanism to open.
The chanism, after all, was located on the ceiling, a full four ters high. If not for super perception, Lin Tian would never have found that there was a chanism above.
Lin Tian leaped up, and upon reaching the top, he pressed two square stones with both hands simultaneously. The stones slightly indented, followed by the clamor of gears as the thick wall opened a gap.
The gap was small, only enough for one person to enter. Lin Tian ran in without hesitation, passing through the thick stone wall into the secret chamber.
In the middle of the chamber sat a human skeleton, still adorned with tattered strips of cloth. As Lin Tian entered, a breeze carried by him caused the garnts to disintegrate, turning to dust that danced mid-air and then settled as ash.
"It’s truly amazing! There’s a secret chamber in this place, and there’s a skeleton inside it too. I wonder if it’s a human skeleton or a Blood Clan skeleton?" the Sword Spirit marveled.
Lin Tian circled the skeleton and slightly frowned, "Judging by the state of decay of these clothes, it must be over five hundred years old. But the skeleton remains so intact; it’s likely a Blood Clan skeleton. If it were an ordinary human’s, it would’ve turned to dust long ago."
