"Who is he?" Lin Tian asked with a frown.
From the beginning in the living room to now, Charlotte had ntioned "him" several tis, and this underground space, including the maze, the barrier, and many rooms, was actually built by "him" in just seven days and nights.
Speaking of the creator of the barrier, Charlotte’s expression seed much better, at least not as frustrated and lonely as before.
Regarding Lin Tian’s question, Charlotte just shook her head, "I don’t know who he is, I only know he’s a zombie like you, and his aura is very strange, sotis very strong, sotis very weak. Ever since he ca here, he has been asleep and hasn’t woken up."
"Strong? How strong?" Lin Tian squinted slightly and asked.
"Indescribable, anyway, you’re no match for him," Charlotte said sowhat confused, unable to clarify how strong he was.
"Then I really ought to take a look," Lin Tian said, not the least bit afraid, but rather filled with curiosity and a competitive spirit.
"Take a look? Humph, did you think I spoke in vain earlier? I said all of that to tell you that in this maze, we have completely lost our way and can’t even find the way back." Charlotte snorted lightly and surprisingly plopped down on the ground, refusing to walk any further.
"Who says we can’t find the way back?" Lin Tian suddenly laughed, and Charlotte looked up at him, only to see Lin Tian closing his eyes, standing motionless.
Charlotte didn’t know what Lin Tian was doing. Having been injected with zombie blood by Lin Tian, she couldn’t take the opportunity to attack him, so she just sat there idly. In her heart, she didn’t think Lin Tian could do anything useful.
Lin Tian didn’t know what Charlotte was thinking, nor did he have ti to find out. In his mind, scenes of the maze corridors they had previously walked through replayed in fragnts.
But the maze was too complex, and Charlotte had taken many wrong turns, so his recollections were jumbled. However, this posed no difficulty for Lin Tian. He had an eidetic mory and, by piecing together the fragnted scenes like a puzzle, could reconstruct the route they had just traveled.
Puzzle gas have their techniques, but Lin Tian still spent more than an hour. As Charlotte began to grow slightly impatient, Lin Tian finally opened his eyes.
In the instant that Charlotte saw Lin Tian’s eyes, she felt as if she were having an illusion, seeing a swirl of stars and clouds, and it almost srized her.
"I’ve found the way out," Lin Tian said with a slight smile.
"Impossible!" Charlotte imdiately retorted, with a full face of disbelief: "I once used high-tech equipnt to explore this maze, and eventually, all those detectors disappeared inside the maze without transmitting any signal. I don’t believe you could just close your eyes and do it, do you think you can see through things, or have a photographic mory?"
Lin Tian only smiled faintly and didn’t explain. Charlotte couldn’t stand his inscrutable deanor and said: "If you can make it out, I’ll show you the correct path and willingly call you master!"
"Alright then, prepare to call master, my good maid, hahaha..." Lin Tian laughed loudly, turned, and walked back the way they ca, with Charlotte following behind, full of defiance.
A map materialized in Lin Tian’s mind, showing a part of the maze he had traveled through, with a winding path connecting his current position to the maze entrance.
This ti his pace was even faster than when entering, and half an hour later, he finally stepped out of the maze and into the horizontal corridor.
Charlotte also quickly rushed out of the maze, standing at the entrance and spinning around, surveying the surroundings. They had really exited the maze, and her expression shifted from confusion and being flabbergasted to shock.
"How did you do it?" Charlotte asked in amazent as she approached Lin Tian.
"If I told you I could see through things and had a photographic mory, would you believe it?" Lin Tian responded, stating the truth.
But Charlotte obviously didn’t believe it and shook her head, "Impossible, seeing through things is a divine skill; are you claiming to be a god?"
"That’s right; I’m the god among n, also known as male god," Lin Tian said narcissistically.
Charlotte rolled her eyes at Lin Tian, but she didn’t argue. After a mont of silence, she said sowhat reluctantly, "Mas... Master."
"Master what? I didn’t hear clearly," Lin Tian pretended not to catch it completely, tauntingly said.
Charlotte was torn for a while. She knew she shouldn’t have agreed to that bet, but it was too late now. She could never have imagined Lin Tian could find his way out.
Thinking to herself, although this man was annoying, he was sotis quite miraculous. With these thoughts in mind, Charlotte finally declared loudly, "Master, I’m your maid, Charlotte."
After saying that, she perford a full ceremonial bow to Lin Tian, although her expression was still awkward. But for a dignified Blood Clan Lord to beco a maid, it was already quite an achievent.
Lin Tian, pretending to be sincere, said, "Worthy of the Lord, keeping your word."
In reality, Lin Tian didn’t have that peculiar interest in hearing her call him "master"; he just wanted to see her subdued, so she’d be a bit more obedient.
"Ahem..." Lin Tian fake-coughed twice and said, "Charlotte, you should continue to call Brother Tian, just like Rossi. This is a civilized society, and calling master in public will draw a crowd as if we’re fools."
Charlotte’s eyes flickered, detecting a trace of amusent in her smile. Seeing her smile, Lin Tian knew trouble was brewing.
As expected, Charlotte laughed, "Now you don’t like calling you master? But I’ve changed my mind. No matter where or when, from now on, I’ll call you master. Is that alright? Master."
Her last "master" was so sultry, it gave Lin Tian goosebumps. He thought Charlotte might have beco more ta, but her temperant was unchanged. Lin Tian hurriedly stopped, "Don’t call master like that. What would Zhang Lingyu and Miss think?"
"What would they think? They’re your won, so everything naturally revolves around you, whatever you say goes," Charlotte continued, seemingly unfazed by the prospect of trouble.
"Since when did they beco my won? I’m still single! Single! Do you know what single ans? What are you staring at? At your age, you dare call yourself single? That’s called a leftover woman!" Lin Tian glared.
"They’ll belong to the Master sooner or later," Charlotte said, still sounding serious.
Lin Tian howled in anguish about having taken on such a difficult maid. If he had known, he might have just spared himself the trouble with one swift move.
