Lin Tian’s words ca out of nowhere, catching Ghost off guard. He paused for a mont, then furrowed his brow slightly and asked, "Brother Tian, do you an..."

"You’ve already thought of it. Since you don’t want to say it, I’ll say it for you. Twenty years ago, the Yun Family encountered so unfortunate events. The heir, Yun Tian, went missing and has yet to be found. You’re an orphan. Have you ever considered that you might be the missing Yun Tian?"

Lin Tian spoke very bluntly. With Ghost, there was no need to beat around the bush. With his keen insight, Ghost would eventually notice sothing unusual.

With the mindset of the average person, suddenly hearing that they might be the heir of the Yun Family would probably make them lose their composure and even beco ntally disturbed.

What does being the heir of the Yun Family an? It’s not like winning five million in a lottery, nor is it like finding an antique at ho. Those are minor matters. The Yun Family represents a billion-dollar business empire, and being the heir ans having that empire within reach.

It can allow the most ordinary person to rise overnight to the pinnacle of Huaxia’s elite society, becoming a sought-after figure. Status, wealth, beauty, and power would be at their fingertips, driving many people mad with desire.

But curiously, this doesn’t include Lin Tian, and currently, it also doesn’t include Ghost.

Ghost just blinked and calmly said, "I recall that Brother Tian’s background is similar to mine, both being orphans. Why didn’t you consider yourself?"

Lin Tian shook his head, feeling slightly sentintal, "It’s best not to be because the Yun Family could never confirm my identity through a paternity test."

"Why?" Ghost, rarely frowning, asked puzzled, "Does Brother Tian have any unspeakable secrets?"

"Damn, your words could easily lead to misunderstandings, making others think there’s sothing wrong with in that aspect. Regardless of any hidden concerns I have, I’m bringing this up with you because I think you should find out about your own background. If you were Yun Tian, what would you do?" Lin Tian gave him a glare and then curiously asked.

Ghost replied without hesitation, "I don’t know, I don’t care about my lineage. I just want to follow Brother Tian. Following you, I feel more at ease and fulfilled than being a rich young master."

"This talk is just between us. If Aunt Wang hears, she’d surely scold for leading her son astray." Lin Tian joked.

"Co on, Brother Tian, the way Aunt Wang looks at you is more like she sees you as her son." Ghost joked back.

"Alright, there’s no point in us continuing this discussion. Let’s head back so we don’t keep them waiting." Lin Tian waved his hand, ending the topic.

The matter regarding Yun Tian wasn’t part of Lin Tian’s plan, at least for the mont. The two walked along the Wei River, catching up with the others as they returned to the Wang Family residence.

Back in the living room, after everyone had settled down, Wang Wanxi spoke up, "Dad, I ca back this ti not just to visit you and my older brother and sister-in-law, but also to accompany Lin Tian to Qingshuang Pavilion."

"You’re going to Qingshuang Pavilion?" Wang Yuanzhou asked with a slight frown, surprised. Lin Tian noticed his expression, similar to Wang Mingyan’s, was a bit peculiar.

Wang Wanxi affird, "We must go, so please write us a letter of introduction in the na of the Wang Family to avoid any trouble from Qingshuang Pavilion."

A letter of introduction? Lin Tian was slightly taken aback, realizing that Wang Wanxi returning to the Wang Family had this intention. However, this gave him a bad feeling, suggesting that Qingshuang Pavilion might be quite tricky to deal with, requiring even Mr. Wang’s letter of introduction.

Indeed, Wang Yuanzhou’s next words confird Lin Tian’s suspicion.

Wang Yuanzhou thought for a mont, then said, "Writing you a letter is simple, but I’m afraid it might not help you much. Oh well, I’ll write it anyway. Just rember, the Ancient Martial World may not be peaceful of late. Keep out of any trouble while you’re there, alright?"

Wang Wanxi and Lin Tian exchanged a glance, then nodded in agreent.

Wang Yuanzhou waved over a man in his forties. The middle-aged man carried a square wooden tray with a brush, ink stick, paper, and inkstone, along with an envelope.

It was indeed the Four Treasures of the Study, not a pen or modern ballpoint pen, but a brush, inkstone, and a piece of letter paper.

The middle-aged man ground the ink stick against the inkstone, then indicated to Wang Yuanzhou that it was ready for use.

This ticulous process amazed Lin Tian. In the modern world, writing a letter with the ancient Four Treasures of the Study was unusual. Still, Lin Tian knew that good ink sticks and inkstones, when ground, produce ink that makes brush-written characters long-lasting.

Wang Yuanzhou picked up the brush and started writing. The lines were arranged vertically in the ancient style. In modern tis, only those very confident or skilled would write like this, as many people today wouldn’t even know how to hold a brush.

The letter wasn’t long, and Wang Yuanzhou wasn’t one for lengthy passages. After finishing, he gently blew on it. Once the ink was dry, he placed it in the envelope, making the whole process seem solemn.

After securing the letter, Wang Yuanzhou wrote a few words on the envelope: "To Master Tang, personal."

Seeing the salutation on the envelope, Lin Tian was slightly surprised. The letter was ant for the Pavilion Master of Qingshuang Pavilion. But then it made sense; given Wang Yuanzhou’s seniority, he wouldn’t write to a junior.

Wang Yuanzhou handed the envelope to Wang Wanxi, seriously instructing, "Although Master Tang is about my age, his rank is higher than mine, and his martial arts level surpasses mine. Don’t speak out of turn in front of Master Tang, understood?"

"Yes, Father, don’t worry," Wang Wanxi replied.

"When are you leaving?" Wang Yuanzhou asked again.

"Tomorrow," Wang Wanxi replied decisively without much hesitation.

"Alright then. I won’t keep you. Since you’ve decided on this task, it’s best to handle it promptly." Wang Yuanzhou seed to speak directly to Wang Wanxi, yet his words were also directed at Lin Tian.

Having obtained the Wang Family’s letter, Wang Mingyan then hosted a family dinner in the living room, or more accurately, a family evening banquet. After the al, Lin Tian, carrying the safe, left the living room with Ghost, following the servant to the prepared guest rooms.

Once the banquet dispersed, Yun Xiaotian also left, leaving only Wang Yuanzhou and the Wang siblings in the living room — the three of them being father and children.

"Xiao Xi, are you aware of the ergence of the Hua Ying Sword?" Wang Yuanzhou suddenly asked.

Wang Wanxi glanced at her older brother, then said, "I am aware. The ergence of the Hua Ying Sword surprised as well. Does Father wish to obtain it?"

Wang Yuanzhou shook his head and said lightly, "I seldom use the Lifeless Sword of the Wang Family. What would I do with a Hua Ying Sword?"

"So, why did you bring it up? Is there sothing you want us to do?" Wang Wanxi asked.

"It’s said the Hua Ying Sword appeared at Qingshuang Pavilion. The place might beco a focal point of chaos. Do not get involved in the matters concerning the Hua Ying Sword, understood?" Wang Yuanzhou advised sternly.
