"Both of you, step back. That was just a branch of lightning, not very powerful. If a big thunderbolt strikes, there’ll be danger for both of you." Tang Banqing waved at Lin Tian and Ling Zishan, telling them to leave the high platform.
Lin Tian suddenly realized; no wonder the lightning energy was so little, and the thunder earlier hadn’t hard him or Ling Zishan.

Another flash of white light streaked by, followed by a deafening rumble. A lightning bolt as thick as a bucket struck the sword furnace, causing a loud sizzling sound, and the entire furnace erupted in dazzling sparks and electric light.
The lightning earlier was as thin as a finger, but this one was many tis larger, its dazzling brilliance piercing, making it hard for everyone to look directly at it. Only Lin Tian could see clearly, thanks to the Eye of Clarity.
As soon as the lightning fell, it was absorbed into the furnace, mixed with the Earth Fire, greedily absorbing all surrounding energy like a Taotie Divine Beast.
The originally stalled transformation resud, with the sword’s hilt continuing to rise, followed by the fierce and sharp guard, and then the blade. Crack — another bolt struck, making the sword furnace buzz, and the Fire Suppression Talisman flashed continuously, teetering as if it could explode at any mont.
If it exploded now, the consequences would be unimaginable, likely razing the entire Qingshuang Pavilion Ruins. As a swordsmith, Tang Banqing knitted her brows, aware of the danger, but she was determined to see this sword forged.
The thunderbolts fell, one after another, as though a Demon God were erging from the furnace, and the heavens were raining down their wrath to destroy it. After a total of nine bolts, the fusion finally completed its final transformation, the sharp sword point erging, an entire sword suspended amidst lightning and fire.
"It’s done, it’s ford, what a cool sword!" Ling Shuiyao jumped up excitedly, pointing at the newly ford sword in the furnace, her eyes shining.
The newly ford sword certainly had a unique design, its blade over a ter long, about a palm’s width. Larger than Huaxia’s ancient swords but smaller than Western broadswords, it was entirely purple, naturally etched with ancient patterns, its blade sharp, even the guard was lethal, with golden patterns on the guard and hilt.
"This is the first ti I’ve seen a sword with such a design, neither as light and graceful as Huaxia’s ancient swords nor as thick as Western heavy swords. It seems influenced by the Sword of the King and Ghost Blade." Tang Banqing frowned slightly, puzzled.
"Shouldn’t it be tempered? The sword is already ford!" Lin Tian couldn’t help reminding, having just endured the Nine Thunderblasts, resulting in the sword’s formation, entirely deviating from the usual forging steps he knew.

Tang Banqing’s face turned grim upon seeing this thunderball, retreating three steps while exclaiming, "Rolling Thunder!"
"It’s a lightning ball, don’t touch it, or you’ll be reduced to ashes!" Lin Tian warned loudly.
Lightning balls mostly appear during stormy weather, sotis even on clear days, their origin a mystery. However, there’s a consensus that they contain imnse energy, are extrely powerful, and their unpredictable movent is elusive. The energy explosion is uncertain, sotis passing through a window without affecting it.
Even Charlotte’s Blood Clan form would suffer injuries, possibly severe, from such heavenly force!
However, the lightning ball seed to be attracted by sothing, not drifting about but falling directly, passing through the top of the sword furnace without any anomaly, even the Fire Suppression Talisman remained inactive.
The new sword was absorbing energy unusually, and as the lightning ball entered the furnace, it was imdiately drawn in, quickly rging into the sword itself, the formidable lightning ball absorbed by the new sword.
"Damn, this sword is a bottomless pit!" Lin Tian gasped in disbelief.
"It’s the transformation stone; it must be the reason it’s maximizing energy absorption, supplenting its transformation consumption. It’s still not enough; it needs more energy to continue growing!" Tang Banqing’s eyes lit up, realizing the peculiar stone’s role, growing excited.
Continue growing? Lin Tian felt delighted; all his resources were worth it. He eagerly said to Tang Banqing, "Old Tang, I have a way to supply it with energy."
"If you have a way, do it quickly. What are you hesitating for? Once the sword furnace cools completely, it’ll be too late!" Tang Banqing urged loudly, not questioning the reason, assuming it was the sa mysterious purple fla as before.
Lin Tian once again placed his hand on the dragon head, ntally communicating with the sword spirit, "I’ll release you now, imdiately rge with the new sword. There’s only one chance; don’t say I didn’t warn you!"
"Hurry, I’ve been waiting impatiently!" the sword spirit eagerly replied.
With a thought, Lin Tian freed the sword spirit’s restraint. The spirit, already eager, rushed out from his palm, diving into the sword furnace.
When the sword spirit appeared, Ling Zishan frowned slightly, seeming to sense sothing. But with the new sword’s absorption and the sword spirit’s proactive embrace, the spirit blended in with just a flash, losing that peculiar sense upon fusion.
Lin Tian knew Ling Zishan would notice the sword spirit’s oddity, but the result was still favorable, the spirit’s aura masked by the new sword.
The essence of the sword spirit was also a unique energy, comparable to the Demon Blade Muramasa, and once it gained consciousness, any energy was a great supplent for the new sword.
Plus, the new sword had rged with the Sword of the King, and now incorporating the sword spirit of the king’s sword was a perfect match. The spirit’s integration seed to fill the last energy gap for the new sword, causing a fierce vibration within.
Then, a streak of purple light shot from the sword, aiming straight at the furnace’s top, with a bang, piercing a big hole through the sturdy furnace, the outer Fire Suppression Talisman flashed and suddenly burned away to ashes.
