Early the next morning, Lin Tian got up early. Due to the daily practice, he had ford the habit of waking up early. At this ti, the sun had just risen, making it the perfect ti for training.

"No need for thanks. Tell , did anything happen last night?" Lin Tian asked casually.

Curiously, Lin Tian looked down. What he saw almost gave him a fright. Outside the balcony downstairs, there were several dead mice, each headless. Besides mice, there were cockroaches, also decapitated.
The most terrifying part was, surrounding the mice and cockroaches’ bodies, were scores of dead mosquitoes and bugs, creating an apocalyptic on-like scene.
"Damn, who did this? So twisted," Lin Tian couldn’t help but curse. If anyone had a phobia of clusters, they’d probably faint at this sight.
The most concerning thought was, if there was a maniac living downstairs, it would be far from pleasant.
"It was you, Master," the Sword Spirit confidently replied.
"I was asleep inside..." Lin Tian began to deny, but then rembered sothing and changed his tune, "Got it, it was you."
"Uh, you could say that. But I was rely following the master’s orders: kill any creature approaching the window," the Sword Spirit argued slyly.
Lin Tian recalled he did say sothing like that, but this guy completely misunderstood or willfully misinterpreted it. Quite exasperated, Lin Tian said, "I ant dangerous creatures. Why did you kill these mice and bugs? And you even beheaded them? Isn’t that a bit twisted?"

After the mice’s bodies were burned, a wisp of black mist wafted out. Although the mist was faint and not noticeable by ordinary people, Lin Tian’s eyes didn’t miss it.
What is this thing? Lin Tian frowned.
"Master, hurry up, or the Second Miss will wake up soon." The Sword Spirit suddenly called out in his mind, interrupting Lin Tian’s thoughts.

"These mice were controlled by soone," Lin Tian said gravely.
"Who can control mice? Back in King Arthur’s ti, only wizards could do such a thing," the Sword Spirit said, shocked.
Cold light flashed in Lin Tian’s eyes as he said faintly, "Many can control mice—Demon Exorcists, Onmyojis, Gu Cultivators, and western wizards like you."
"Then who controlled these mice?" the Sword Spirit asked.
Lin Tian shook his head, "This kind of evil and bizarre aura, any of those professions I ntioned could be involved. I’ve seen Oda Manaka and the Guizhong family with this kind of aura, and of course, there’s a Secret Master."
"You have quite a few enemies," the Sword Spirit said, unsure if it was in contempt or admiration.
Lin Tian did not refute, walking into the bathroom and tossing the token into a water basin, then filled the basin with water.
"Damn, why did you throw into water? If I accidentally get flushed down the toilet, I’d rather kill myself," the Sword Spirit protested.
"Bla yourself for using my Heavenly Tribulation Sword to kill mice and cockroaches. Do you expect to wear it on my hand without cleaning it?" Lin Tian said disdainfully.
"Alright, it does feel a bit off now that you ntion it. But are you not going to find out who’s behind these mice?" the Sword Spirit implored.
"It’s not that easy. People like them are sneakier than foxes and slipperier than eels. Last ti, I watched a Secret Master escape from ." Recalling last ti’s Spiritual Cultivation Class, Lin Tian rembered the sneaky Secret Master. Although he snatched his Yin Yang Life Fruit, the person escaped.
"Let’s watch and wait." Lin Tian’s face bore no expression.
After cleaning the token, Lin Tian wore it as a bracelet again, went to the balcony, and continued his daily practice.
