Everyone started discussing, most of them skeptical of Lin Tian, and so even openly mocking. Zhou Botong and Xiao Manxuan were very upset by this.
"Ladies and gentlen, allow to say a word. Your guesses and skepticism are pointless. Why don’t I inquire about the situation and find out the truth?" The Old Earl gestured for everyone to quiet down.
The Old Earl still held authority, and everyone respectfully stopped talking, watching to see what he would do.
Lin Tian didn’t mind at all, explaining himself to a bunch of indifferent yet self-righteous people was a complete waste of breath. However, the Old Earl approached, and Lin Tian just calmly looked at him.
Count Carlos was slightly surprised to see Lin Tian so composed, but quickly smiled, "Young man, how should I address you?"
"Lin Tian." Lin Tian’s answer was concise, just two words, without any extra explanations.
"Mr. Lin Tian, you just ntioned that you have found the Eye of the Creator. Is that true?" Carlos asked patiently.
Lin Tian replied nonchalantly, "Honestly, I don’t care about others’ opinions. But if Count Carlos insists on an answer, then the answer is yes."
"Oh, I admire your attitude. However, if you can’t show the Eye of the Creator, can you prove your words?" Carlos said, very appreciatively.
Without any fuss, Lin Tian directly stated, "An uninhabited island, within a cave, island coordinates..." He recited a series of numbers, coordinates that were displayed on the yacht.
"All correct, you really have the Eye of the Creator!" Carlos’s eyes lit up, exclaiming in wonder.
With those words from the Old Earl, everyone was astonished. Those who mocked earlier now couldn’t save face, feeling too embarrassed to look at Lin Tian.
"He really found it."
"What a stroke of luck."
"How did he find it? It’s incredible. Huaxia people are truly smart."
...
The crowd shifted from doubt and mockery to awe and admiration. They were most curious about how Lin Tian found such a secret place. So even wondered if Lin Tian knew the legendary Huaxia fortune-telling.
"Lin Tian, how did you find the Eye of the Creator?" Ou Qinglan asked curiously.
"Very simple. I asked Count Carlos how to get to Dayan Island. The Count said by boat, and the gemstone was restricted within a hundred kiloters. If it wasn’t on Dayan Island, then it must be at sea."
"The only places to hide things at sea are islands. So, I found the nearby islands and discovered the gemstone on one of them. The process was just that simple." Lin Tian said with a faint smile, but he omitted the matter of several groups fighting over the gemstone.
Xiao Manxue listened and simply smiled without exposing it. Such a story would likely be unbelievable to others—things like zombies, ninjas, vampires, it’s all fantasy, less credible than the legend of the gemstone’s curse.
"Why were you so sure it was on an island and not underwater? You know, it wouldn’t be difficult for Count Carlos to find soone to dive underwater, right?" soone asked, curious.
Lin Tian looked at Count Carlos and laughed. "As a senior, I think Count Carlos wouldn’t trouble us juniors like that, so what you ntioned doesn’t exist."
"Hahaha..." Count Carlos, breaking from his usual suave deanor, laughed heartily, "Wonderful, truly wonderful, your mind is ticulous, your intellect extraordinary. I think, only Mr. Lin Tian is worthy of the Eye of the Creator."
"Clap, clap, clap..."
Soone started it, and the crowd began to applaud, and the applause spread throughout the exhibition hall, all cheering for Lin Tian.
"Damn, finally so relief. Those people were so damn arrogant just now." Zhou Botong said with imnse satisfaction.
Amidst a chorus of praise, Lin Tian quietly left the exhibition hall, with Xiao Manxuan and the other two following him out. Miss naturally stayed behind with Ou Qinglan to handle the remaining work.
"By the way, where’s Charlotte? Did you see her co into the exhibition hall?" Lin Tian, who hadn’t seen Charlotte after being there for so long, suddenly found it strange.
"No, didn’t she go out with you?" Xiao Manxuan found it even stranger.
Ring, ring, ring...
The phone rang at that mont, and Lin Tian glanced at it—it was a text from Charlotte: "Master, look up."
Lin Tian instinctively looked up and saw a helicopter fly past, and then the phone buzzed with another notification, still a text from Charlotte: "Master, by the ti you see this ssage, I’ve already left Dayan Island, left Huaxia, returned to England. I’m going to find the third Eye of the Creator."
"I want to keep up with the pace of the Master, beco as strong as Master. Until next ti, Master. I’ll really miss you. If Master has ti, you can visit in England, my big bed is always ready for you."
This was Charlotte’s farewell ssage, leaving very abruptly, catching Lin Tian off guard. He looked up at the helicopter disappearing into the distance, sighing softly, "She’s gone."
As he said this, for so reason, Lin Tian felt a slight lancholy in his heart, and all he could think about was Charlotte, sotis seductive, sotis mysterious, sotis the noble Princess.
"Xuanxuan, is our vacation about to end?" Lin Tian suddenly asked.
"Classes start the day after tomorrow." Xiao Manxuan paused for a mont before replying.
"Alright then, let’s go back to school now. There’s nothing left for us here." Lin Tian said quite abruptly, surprising them.
Xiao Manxuan blinked, a bit unable to process, "But... we haven’t said goodbye to sister and Tian Xiaotian yet..."
"Forget it, farewells are always sad, better not to see each other." Lin Tian thought of Charlotte leaving and said sothing rather sentintal, then turned to head toward the Coastal Villa.
Zhou Botong stood there dumbfounded, watching Lin Tian walk away and said, "What’s up with Brother Lin Tian? This isn’t like him at all?"
Ou ngng smacked him on the forehead, calling him slow to react. Xiao Manxuan didn’t say anything, just quickly ran up, following Lin Tian at a comfortable distance, quietly staying by him, silently sensing his mood.
Lin Tian turned back, looked at her serious and pretty face, and suddenly smiled, "I’m really lucky to have such good girls around ."
Seeing Lin Tian smile, Xiao Manxuan also smiled, silently thinking to herself, "I’m lucky too." Their smiles seed to brighten up the afternoon, adding a different kind of warmth to the lancholy of parting.
They didn’t say goodbye to Miss, Mrs. Xiao, Wang Wanxi, nor did they see Yun Xiaotian, or Yun Haoyu. They returned to the Coastal Villa, packed their luggage, and left the villa, with only Zhou Botong and Ou ngng seeing them off.
As they neared the gate of the Coastal Villa, Lin Tian saw from a distance a petite figure pacing anxiously back and forth.
"That Mr. Qi, he sold out again." Lin Tian shook his head helplessly.
