The four of them walked into the left passageway, just like before, the passage was quiet, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing in their ears. Lin Tian’s hearing was extraordinary, he could even hear Xiao Manxuan’s breathing.
The little girl’s breathing was steady, clearly without tension, while Ning Wenbin’s breath was sowhat erratic, whether from nervousness or the fact that the goddess of his dreams was nearby.
After walking for about ten minutes, a faint thumping sound suddenly ca from the depths of the passage. This ti, not only Lin Tian heard it, but all four of them did.

"Mr. Xiao, you can still laugh; aren’t you afraid?" Although reprimanded, Ning Wenbin felt much more relaxed from this interruption.
Xiao Manxuan shook her head and said, "Not afraid, if you don’t do bad things, midnight fear doesn’t knock on your door—you must have done too many bad things."
Lin Tian exchanged a glance with Wu Xiuluo, both equally puzzled. But Lin Tian just paused and continued walking forward.
Turning the corner ahead, the rhythmic thumping beca even clearer. They swiftly scanned the area with their flashlights, lighting up the passage, yet aside from cobwebs, there was still nothing else.
The sound continued, as if originating from nowhere, or perhaps from another world.
"The sound is coming from above!" Lin Tian listened for a mont and suddenly spoke.
"Brother Lin Tian, don’t scare ; it’s all dirt up there. Who would make noise from the dirt?" Ning Wenbin raised his flashlight to shine all over, feeling a bit creeped out.
Lin Tian, however, started laughing. To prove his point, he simply activated his super vision, his gaze piercing the passage roof, through the soil, straight to the surface.
Sure enough, above was a construction site, where a pile driver was hamring piles. Each strike produced a thumping sound, transmitted down the pile, into the underground passage.
"Lin Tian, you’re laughing? Is it who’s not normal, or is it you guys?" Ning Wenbin was quite speechless.
"I laughed because I know what this noise is—up there, at the construction site," Lin Tian pointed above and chuckled.
"Construction site noise?" Ning Wenbin was stunned, wearing a look of surprise.
Lin Tian patted his shoulder and said, "What did you think it was?"
"Hehe, I thought so too." Ning Wenbin chuckled, thick-skinned.
Lin Tian knew he was the shaless type and didn’t bother to tease him, but instead extended his vision forward. At the end of the passage was another turn, then a large underground room opened up.
This is? Upon seeing the underground room, Lin Tian frowned, without explaining to the trio, he quickly walked forward.
Xiao Manxuan and the others were curious, but followed closely. The distance wasn’t far, after turning the corner, they also saw the underground room.
After seeing the underground room, the three also showed expressions identical to Lin Tian’s.
