"Who’s making such a ruckus outside, don’t they know this is a hospital?" Director Liang was very angry.
The group turned to look out the window and saw people in the corridor running around in panic, as if being chased by sothing terrifying.
A person in a hospital gown appeared in view, and Director Liang exclaid in surprise: "Isn’t that the patient from the next room? How did he get out?"
Just as he finished speaking, Mu Binglan rushed out to stop the patient, but Mu Binglan was knocked over in an instant. The patient lunged at her, opening his mouth to bite.

"It’s Xiao Zhao!" Director Liang shouted, and started running outside, but a figure was faster than him. In a flash, Lin Tian had disappeared from the room.
Lin Tian had already raced out of the isolation room. As he reached the corridor, he saw Xiao Zhao opening his mouth to bite again. Ignoring the shock of it all, Lin Tian flashed behind Xiao Zhao, striking the back of his neck with a swift chop.
A normal person would have fainted instantly from Lin Tian’s blow to the neck, but Xiao Zhao only tilted his head before turning to attack Lin Tian.
"Lin Tian, watch out!" He Xiaofei cried out in alarm, her face pale with fright, while Xiao Manxuan remained much calr.
Without glancing, Lin Tian reached back and grabbed Xiao Zhao by the neck, lifting him single-handedly. No matter how he struggled, Xiao Zhao couldn’t move Lin Tian an inch.
The chaos in the corridor finally settled down, but everyone was astonished, watching Lin Tian hold up an adult with one hand.
"Lin Tian, don’t hurt the patient." Director Liang, who had followed them out, was equally stunned but still had to remind Lin Tian.
Lin Tian took out a golden needle and pierced it into the back of Xiao Zhao’s neck, rendering him unconscious. Only then did Lin Tian hand him over to the doctors who had rushed out.
"Xiaoyi, how are you?" Mu Binglan asked anxiously.

Mu Binglan always thought such a smile was unmanly and weak, but now, looking at Qiao Xiaoyi’s smile, she seed to see a sincere, kind, and all-embracing heart. Like flowing water, like the land, with virtues that nurture all things without contention.
"Lin Tian, co and check on Xiaoyi." Xiao Manxuan called out loudly.
No reminder was needed; Lin Tian had already crouched down to inspect Qiao Xiaoyi’s hand. The wound was deep, still bleeding. Lin Tian pressed on a few acupoints on his arm, finally stopping the bleeding.
"Nurse, co and help bandage his wound." Lin Tian called to a nurse, who had already jogged over with gauze and dical tools to bandage Qiao Xiaoyi’s wound.
"Lin Tian, will Xiaoyi be infected with parasites?" Mu Binglan asked worriedly.
"It’s best to run so tests." The nurse suggested after bandaging the wound.
At that mont, Jiang Xiu Ying and the others also ca out, and Dean Miao said, "It’s still the incubation period; testing now might not show anything."
"What should we do? By the ti we can test, he might already be infected!" Mu Binglan said anxiously, thinking the responsibility lay with the hospital. If Xiao Zhao hadn’t suddenly gone berserk, this wouldn’t have happened.

"What’s done is done; it can’t be changed. Why drag the doctors into it? They didn’t want this to happen. It wouldn’t be good if they got blad." Qiao Xiaoyi said sincerely.
Lin Tian was a bit helpless; that was just how this guy was—always thinking of others. If it were anyone else, they would be raising hell.
However, Lin Tian knew clearly that even if Qiao Xiaoyi didn’t pursue it, those responsible would still face hospital inquiry; that’s the rule, with only the degree of accountability varying.

"Doctor Yao, accompany him to the treatnt room." Director Liang imdiately arranged, and Doctor Yao took Qiao Xiaoyi away. Mu Binglan was about to follow but was stopped by Professor He.
"Elder Jiang, will my son end up like Xiao Zhao?" Zhao Xiangyuan, who had been silent, asked worriedly. Xiao Zhao’s madness was terrifying; thinking about his son becoming like that was unbearable.
"Don’t worry, Mr. Zhao. The hospital will strengthen managent to ensure this doesn’t happen again." Jiang Xiu Ying reassured him.
"That’s good. I leave everything in your hands, Elder Jiang." Zhao Xiangyuan said courteously, acknowledging Jiang Xiu Ying’s reputation.
Zhao Xiangyuan left with his people but left so trusted aides at the hospital.

To avoid a similar incident, Lin Tian asked Xiao Manxuan and the others to return to school while he and Jiang Xiu Ying stayed behind.
They returned to Zhao Weitao’s isolation room, where he was asleep again, likely after being sedated.
"Lin Tian, you were quiet just now; is there sothing on your mind?" Jiang Xiu Ying asked suddenly while preparing acupuncture tools.
Professor He and the others also looked at Lin Tian, their expressions not too good, as their professional sensitivity seed to have perceived sothing.
