"Mi Yue, soone is looking for you," a female voice called out.
Lin Tian was puzzled as the bathroom door opened, and Mi Yue erged, but her attire left Lin Tian wide-eyed, or more accurately, on the verge of a nosebleed.
Mi Yue wasn’t sure if she had just changed clothes or what, but her top was wide open, revealing a considerable amount of cleavage. This senior had quite the assets, Lin Tian thought honestly.
And indeed, the senior showed her ttle; seeing Lin Tian, she wasn’t flustered. Instead, she calmly pulled her clothes back together and adjusted them naturally.
"Mi Yue, you just broke up, and now you’re already flirting with Junior Lin Tian? That’s too fast!" a roommate teased.
"Yeah, they’re even coming for you at the door," another one giggled.
Mi Yue shot them a glare, then turned to Lin Tian, "Junior Lin Tian, don’t mind these female predators, what’s up?"
"I’m looking for your professor, Professor Hu. Do you know where he is now?" Lin Tian asked directly, not beating around the bush.
"Professor Hu?" Mi Yue was montarily stunned, feeling a bit disappointed; she thought Lin Tian had co for her.
However, she quickly regained her composure and shook her head, "I don’t know, I haven’t seen him for several days."
As expected? This Professor Hu is really elusive, thought Lin Tian, disappointed. He had assud Mi Yue, as the sole disciple of the fifth generation, would know sothing.
Seeing Lin Tian’s disappointed expression, Mi Yue pondered deeply and suddenly exclaid, rembering sothing: "I rembered, yesterday when I was organizing materials for the professor, I noticed a stack of docunts on his desk. They seed to be related to an ancient tomb. Checking them out might provide so clues."
Lin Tian’s spirits lifted, involuntarily he said, "Then please, senior sister, lead us there."
"No problem, let’s go now." Mi Yue, a cheerful and spirited girl, agreed readily.
As they were about to leave, the girl in pajamas interjected, "Junior, you can’t get out."
"Why?" Lin Tian was puzzled, thinking to himself that surely no one could stop him from leaving?
He paid no mind, walked over, and opened the door, but the sight outside stunned him, making him shut it imdiately. A group of girls was gathered outside, seemingly waiting for Lin Tian to co out, more enthusiastic than fans at an airport.
Seeing this, the girl in pajamas smiled, "See, I told you, junior brother is extraordinarily handso, elegant, free-spirited, and lately a celebrity on campus. You’re the girls’ dream boy. Don’t underestimate them; in a frenzy, you might fall into the lair of wolves."
"This...it couldn’t be that serious, right?" Lin Tian was utterly speechless, wondering aloud if it’s a cri to be handso.
"Hee hee, junior brother, don’t underestimate your charm; it’s quite lethal," another girl giggled.
"No rush, junior brother, you could stay in our dorm until things calm down outside," one of the girls continued teasing.
"I’m going to make them leave, hmm." Mi Yue said, hands on her hips, acting tough.
The pajama-clad girl stood up coquettishly, "Little Yueyue, violence won’t do; watch , I have a way to get you all out."
As she spoke, she pulled a photo from under her pillow. A roommate saw it and deliberately exclaid, "Wow, you actually have a photo of Junior Lin Tian!"
"Lately I feel the bed shaking at night; are you doing that while looking at Junior Lin Tian’s photo?" another roommate questioned, unsure if it was true.
Regardless of the truth, Lin Tian was utterly speechless, thinking, my dear seniors, I’m still here, do you have to be so direct and so dirty? You’ve monopolized the title of dirty demon king.
"I like it, is that a problem?" the girl in pajamas retorted even more boldly, with a coquetish hum, and then walked out with Lin Tian’s photo.
She opened the door, holding up the photo, and shouted, "I’ve got a nude photo of Lin Tian here, who wants it?"
With a thud, Lin Tian accidentally kicked a stool on the floor, nearly tripping over. What the hell, when did a nude photo of start circulating? Lin Tian was baffled, completely not used to such a place filled with tigers and wolves.
After shouting, the pajama girl squeezed out, and the other girls followed her. Whether they believed there was a nude photo or not, they were all curious and followed her out.
The area outside the dorms suddenly cleared significantly, and Lin Tian grabbed Mi Yue’s hand and dashed out, escaping this den of tigers and wolves.
After racing down two flights of stairs, Lin Tian finally let go of Mi Yue’s hand, leaving her slightly breathless and blushing. Things were much easier once downstairs, and they walked out of the dormitory building smoothly. Lin Tian felt like he had just fought a battle.
"Sister Mi Yue," Xiao Manxuan greeted them.
"No need to say anything, Lin Tian has already told . Now I will take you to Professor Hu’s office," Mi Yue responded cheerfully.
The group proceeded to the Life Science Building, where Mi Yue opened Professor Hu’s office. Inside was a bit ssy, with books and docunts everywhere; it was the workspace of a true scholar.
Unlike so officials’ offices with bookshelves full of books just for show.
Mi Yue took a stack of docunts from the desk and handed them to Lin Tian: "Lately, Professor Hu has been researching these; they seem related to an ancient tomb. If he went to explore a tomb, I bet it’s this one."
Lin Tian accepted them, and the others crowded around to have a look.
"Millennium Tomb of Xikou City..." Lin Tian murmured, frowning.
"Huh, Xikou City, isn’t that where you’re from?" Ning Wenbin asked in surprise, "I rember there was a report so ti ago about a 5,000-year-old tomb discovered there, along with a millennia-old, non-decaying female corpse. Is it true?"
Is it true? Lin Tian laughed to himself; having been bitten by the ’female corpse’, he was standing right there. What do you think?
Xikou City has only one ancient tomb, and it’s very likely Professor Hu went to the one where Nu Ba was sealed.
"Even if Professor Hu is at that tomb, if we can’t reach him by phone, how are we supposed to find him?" He Mu Binglan inquired.
Without answering, Lin Tian stepped out to make a call.
"Ghost, inform Stone and the others to find a professor nad Hu Yang. Professor Hu might be over at the tomb," Lin Tian called Ghost.
"Got it, Brother Tian, I’ll arrange it right away," Ghost replied efficiently, not questioning why they needed to find him.
After hanging up, Lin Tian returned to the office and said to everyone, "Let’s wait; if Professor Hu is at the Xikou City tomb, we should hear back before dinner."
"Thank you, Senior Sister Mi Yue, you’ve been a great help to us," Lin Tian gratefully said.
Mi Yue smiled lightly, saying, "You’ve helped before, so this isn’t much. From your serious expressions, it seems important, so as Mi Yue, I can’t just stand by."
Everyone had lunch, went their separate ways, and at around five in the afternoon, Lin Tian finished his last class and left the classroom when his phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number.
