The young woman shouted several tis, but no one inside the store responded to her. Many had seen the whole situation clearly from the beginning to end. She was the one causing trouble without reason, and this Sister Jin even hit soone without bothering to find out what was really going on.
"Fine, very fine, you all have n backing you up, don’t you? You really don’t know what’s good for you. Just wait and don’t leave!" the young woman glared fiercely at Lin Tian and his companions, taking out her phone to make a call.
A few seconds later, the call connected and she switched to a pitiful voice, sobbing, "Mr. Qi, co and save . I’m being bullied, and they even want to hit soone. Boo hoo, hurry up, yeah, it’s the sa shop as last ti."
What the heck, this works too? Lin Tian truly had his eyes opened. To distort truth and fiction to this extent, how thick could soone’s skin get?
"If you have the guts, then don’t leave," Sister Jin said calmly, looking at Lin Tian and his friends disdainfully now that her companion had called for backup.
Ignorance truly knew no fear, Lin Tian sighed. Here was a special forces soldier cum Ancient Martial Artist, a mysteriously origin Zhang Lingyu, and himself, a zombie. They could go anywhere under heaven without fear, yet they were being challenged by so insignificant clowns. It was really amusing and exasperating.
"Lin Tian, we three weak won, you must protect us," Zhang Lingyu said weakly, deliberately clinging to Lin Tian’s arm as if she wanted to stir up more trouble.
"Lin Tian, I want your protection too," Xiao Manxuan hugged his other arm and said plaintively. This little girl’s nature was already feisty, and although she had toned it down a lot since eting Lin Tian, she still liked to cause trouble from ti to ti.
You two little girls just love to stir up chaos. If you want my protection, then just ask, but why make it sound so ambiguous? It makes it seem like I’m really enjoying the embrace of a woman on each side, when in reality I’m just here as a decoration, Lin Tian sighed helplessly and looked towards Ning Luoxi. Don’t you want to join us as well?
"Hmph..." Ning Luoxi didn’t bother with him at all.
The stand-off lasted for five or six minutes, and the store manager didn’t know how to handle the situation. If things got out of hand, it would be the store that suffered the most, severely impacting the reputation of the specialty shop.
"Who is bullying my Zhao Rong? Does soone not have eyes?" a brash voice called out from outside the entrance, followed by two people walking in.
One was dressed in loose clothes and walked with stable and powerful legs, but it was the other one who spoke. Lin Tian chuckled when he saw him—it was indeed an acquaintance. It was Mr. Qi, with whom he had a conflict at the Night Rose Bar last ti.
Lin Tian was standing by the clothes rack, and Mr. Qi hadn’t noticed him yet, so when he ca in, his deanor was full of arrogance, with harsh words preceding him.
"Vice Director Jin, you’re here too. Help teach these barbarians a lesson. They snatched the clothes I had my eyes on," the young woman, who was Zhao Rong as identified by Mr. Qi, called out first, imdiately seeking to have others taught a lesson.
"Who dares to bully a friend of Sister Jin? I would like to see who!" Vice Director Jin walked side by side with Mr. Qi, his gaze steely. When he saw Xiao Manxuan and the two won, astonishnt flashed in his eyes followed by a deep desire to possess them.
"Mr. Qi, long ti no see, how have you been lately? You’ve cut your flowing long hair short, and you look much more vibrant and sunny," Lin Tian turned around to address Mr. Qi with a smile, greeting him warmly, making anyone unaware think they had a great relationship.
"It’s you! Lin Tian," Mr. Qi’s gaze hardened as he stared intently at Lin Tian.
The experience at the Night Rose Bar last ti was sothing he could never forget. Because of it, he’d even had his flowing long hair cut short. Otherwise, the mory of being stepped on and having his hair ground into the floor was enough to prevent him from sleeping.
"Mr. Qi, do you know each other?" The greeting between the two had bewildered both Zhao Rong and Sister Jin. If they were friends, how could this conflict be resolved?
"Sort of know each other. Zhao Rong, let’s go. We’ll leave the clothes." He knew that alone he couldn’t win the fight, and staying would only an reliving the previous humiliation.
Upon hearing this, Sister Jin imdiately beca unwilling. People had been called over, and walking away with tails between their legs was not an option, where would that leave her face? She huffed, "Mr. Qi, this isn’t like you. To leave without regaining face, what would people say? Others might think my Taekwondo gym is afraid of a young man. How could the gym continue to operate in Xikou City after this?"
Manager Luo and the employees all knew Mr. Qi and his group, as they were regulars here, and knew what they were like. Precisely because of this, Manager Luo was very surprised; Mr. Qi actually seed to fear this young man so much. Who was this Lin Tian? They were very curious about his identity.
"Mr. Qi, if it’s inconvenient for you to intervene, let handle it." Vice Director Jin patted Mr. Qi on the shoulder and said, his eyes never leaving the three won, gleaming with a light of desire. Especially seeing Xiao Manxuan and Zhang Lingyu holding Lin Tian’s arms, a deep jealousy flashed across his eyes.
"Ladies, if you would be willing to give up this dress, I’ll cover all your expenses here today, how about that?" Vice Director Jin bent slightly, believing he spoke with a gentleman’s grace.
Lin Tian found it quite amusing. The vice director was trying to show off his grace and flaunt his wealth, hoping to win the ladies’ favor. He probably won over many won with this tactic, but unfortunately, the three won didn’t even glance at him properly; they didn’t reply, treating him as if he were invisible.
"Comrade Ning Luoxi, get the clothes and let’s check out. There’s no point in wasting ti here with a bunch of pointless people," Lin Tian said, too lazy to talk to them; he simply wasn’t interested.
"Mr. Lin, eting is fate, why the rush to leave? Let introduce myself, I’m Jin Yingtao, Vice Director of the Taekwondo gym in Xikou City. I’m pleased to et you," Vice Director Jin said with a smile, reaching out for a handshake.
Here cos this tactic again, truly unoriginal. Lin Tian nonchalantly reached out and shook hands with him. Jin Yingtao’s eyes glead with triumph, suddenly increasing the strength of the handshake.
Lin Tian remained composed, laughing, "Ha-ha, Vice Director Jin, you’re so enthusiastic even with a handshake. I’m truly flattered."
No sooner had he spoken than his right hand applied a bit more force. Lin Tian swore it was only a slight effort, but Jin Yingtao suddenly widened his eyes, his jaw clenching tightly, his hands trembling, and sweat beads as large as beans broke out on his forehead, quickly dampening his hair.
"Mr. Lin... Mr. Lin is also very enthusiastic, ha-ha," Jin Yingtao forced a smile, his speech punctuated with gasps of air, as waves of excruciating pain surged through his hand, his legs beginning to wobble.
Heh heh, suffer, you bastard. You wanted to embarrass ; I’ll make sure you get what’s coming to you, Lin Tian thought smugly. He grinned, "So, do you still want this dress?"
"This..." Jin Yingtao hesitated, glancing at Sister Jin and Zhao Rong, unsure whether to give up or not.
"Can’t make up your mind, Director Jin?" Lin Tian said with a smile, then added more force to his grip.
A series of "crack" sounds from the bones ensued; Jin Yingtao let out a painful "ah," tears and snot streaming down as he sobbed miserably.
"The dress... we... we don’t want the dress anymore," Jin Yingtao panted heavily, stuttering for a while before he could finish speaking.
