Even before the competition began, they appeared suprely confident of victory, and that could only an one thing: either the Japanese could truly withstand the devastation of the Naga Viper, or they had thods to resist its extre spiciness.
Many onlookers sensed that sothing fishy was going on, but they just couldn’t pinpoint where the Japanese were hiding their trick.
"Boss, what should we do? They say only the native residents from the origin of the Naga Viper can withstand it. The Japanese will definitely use other ans," Lu Jia whispered to him.
The Japanese seed to notice the doubting gazes from the audience. Futian Shenyi smiled and said, "I know you don’t believe in the fairness of the contest, just like we also think that Mr. Lin Tian just used a Blinding Technique."

Bai Yufeng personally searched Lin Tian. Besides a cell phone, a wallet, and a neck pendant, he also found a thread of gold on Lin Tian’s wrist.
"Second Young Master Bai doesn’t need to trouble himself with this, I’ll do it myself," Lin Tian interjected.
Under the astonished gaze of the crowd, Lin Tian unwound the gold thread from his wrist, with everyone curious about what it was.
"What a special piece of jewelry," soone muttered.
"I’m going to get one for myself after I go back. It looks so pretty."
Lin Tian could only express helplessness at their wild imaginations. This was the Golden Needle passed down from Gui Guzi, and they were treating it like just a piece of jewelry.
"Manager Lu, extend your hand," he said. Manager Lu extended her hand, looking puzzled, as Lin Tian wrapped the golden thread around her delicate wrist, stating, "Help keep it safe for a while. I don’t trust the Japanese to hold on to it."
Lu Jia blushed slightly as Lin Tian fastened the golden thread. The action resembled a man putting jewelry on his girlfriend. However, Lin Tian didn’t think much of it. After securing it, he let Bai Yufeng continue the search. When Bai Yufeng couldn’t find anything else, he could only return empty-handed.
"Mr. Lin Tian, can we start now?" Futian Shenyi urged.
"Don’t rush. You suggested using ghost peppers with Hell Tequila, but I think ghost peppers aren’t suitable. We should use sothing more interesting," Lin Tian said.
"What, Mr. Lin Tian, are you scared?" Futian Shenyi said proudly, with Bai Yufeng also showing a mocking smile.
"Hehe, scared or not, you’ll know soon enough. Just don’t end up playing yourself to death," Lin Tian chuckled and added, "I rember that ghost peppers aren’t the spiciest. There’s one that’s hotter called the Naga Viper pepper, and coincidentally, the Night Rose Bar happens to have it. Let’s use that for the competition."
"Mr. Lin Tian, I admire your courage. Let’s do as you wish and use the Naga Viper instead of the ghost pepper," Futian Shenyi said with a still confident smile.
"Boss, are we really going to use the Naga Viper?" Lu Jia frowned, a hint of fear in her eyes.
Lin Tian nodded, and with no other choice, Lu Jia could only instruct the servers behind her. The two male servers nodded and left.
Soon enough, the servers returned. Exaggerating a bit, they both wore rubber gloves and even had masks covering their mouths.
Each held a plate that contained several peppers, not much larger than a thumb. The pepper skins glead with an oily, bright red, appearing quite appetizing.
"Brother Tian, they look really tasty. It’s hard to believe they could be spicier than ghost peppers," Liu Wenxing said curiously, reaching out to touch one.
Lin Tian’s quick reflexes caught Liu Wenxing’s hand, and with a smile, he warned, "Wenxing, don’t ss around. The feeling will make you wish you could chop off your hand."
"Really? Isn’t that a bit exaggerated? Those peppers look quite ordinary," Liu Wenxing said incredulously, but still stepped back after being scared off by Lin Tian.
"Yeah, Boss Lin, we people in Xikou City have never been afraid of spicy. What you’re saying seems a bit far-fetched," soone in the crowd countered Lin Tian.
"Well then, these peppers were ant to be used as seasonings. Since they’ve been brought out, who dares to try one? No need for much, just a lick," Lin Tian said with amusent, watching them. These people wouldn’t give up until they faced the consequences.
"I’ll do it. I don’t buy it," a young man with a buzz cut stepped forward, boldly stating his challenge.
Ignoring Lin Tian’s warning, he picked up a pepper and put it in his mouth. As the pepper burst, a piercing spiciness spread, making those nearby instinctively step back.
The buzz-cut young man began proudly, "You see, it’s not that—" Unfortunately, before he could finish, he slumped to the ground with a "thud."
